Did you know that you can fully customize how sonic controls? I bet you didn't know that. Also, I've always wanted a Sonic game with an in-depth combat system that utilizes his abilities. Combat allows you toggle a button masher mode, or you can do manual combos if you actually want to have fun. I'm pretty sure you can just skip a lot of the combat in the game if you don't like it anyways. Everything you do in the game world advances the main game apparently
