Honestly I don't even like this weapon. I just use it to piss people off and juggle people.
I switch to this weapon against Demoknights and Darwin Danger Shield Snipers. The knockback is the only thing stopping the sniper from constantly killing everyone who can't avoid their sightlines
As for Demoknights, stopping their charge with this will never not be funny.
It's just like phlog vs stock flamethrower. Some part of me cannot justify giving up airblast. But god damn when I did the phlog contract it was the most moronic faceroll weapon ever.
What are some cheesy loadouts that decently aggravate and hurt the enemy team? Preferably if I can sit back and let it rip like spamming huntsman arrows down a choke point, or hit and run like Shortshop Crit-a-cola loadout.
Not cheesy but rocket jumper + shotgun makes people consistently mad for some reason

It basically just makes the scout a spy with a double jump, they use it, may or may not actually make it to an enemy in time, kill them, then instantly die because of the marked for death effect.
The only time Crit a Cola was ever busted was when the Soda Popper had the same effect just from walking around the map.
You almost never see engie in 6s so it's just a direct upgrade with unlimited ammo and the charged shot, comp players have wanted it nerfed for some time

Yeah getting rid of the minicrits and bringing it back to it's old release form would be pretty nice, if you wanna go the extra mile you can get rid of the direct damage on it altogether and keep everything else. It works pretty nicely as a utility flategun since you can use it to destroy stickies and toning down the direct damage fricks over braindead phlog pyros which is an extra bonus on top.
Ok? Why spend your entire clip and a 5 second charge to disable a sentry when the direct hit can just destroy it quicker and without wasting his whole clip. The charge disabling them is not in anyway a plus side.
Not to mention you're extremely slow and vulnerable during the charge up making you a free headshot for snipers. The Loch n Load is still the best sentry buster since you can just delete them before the engineer can even have a chance to react. The cow mangler's charged shot needs cordination to make full use outta it.

I personally would put sandman at -5 hp instead of -15. Boom, I think few people could complain it's considerably out of line with other options.
Gas passer is trickier. There are a lot of options and Valve seemed to think it was strong for some reason when they released it.
If Valve really justify the insane cost they can rework the gas passer into actual choking gas. It does X amount of DoT that can't be shaken off until it's done and everyone gets a 50% slow for the duration too. Either that or just make it down to the level of jarate because it's effect honestly doesn't warrant a 60 second cooldown when jarate is so much better.

Demo, same, you usually need 2 hits from Primary to kill that minor inconvenience but under cola you will get him in 1 hit.

It just need a knockback buff to avoid player getting hit also getting the second damage. Outdamaging normal flare in a single shot is BS.
I use detonator because jumping is fun but frick me scorch shot is so braindead easy to use and effective I feel like I'm gimping myself not using it
