CRT is superior for games but games are no longer rendered and sent a pixel/line at a time, and hdmi to composite converters induce lag. So there is little benefit aside from the better pixels.

If you get a GTX 9x0 card or earlier and install it as a second videocard, you can use a VGA out. Since that is analog, the converters to RGB/S-Video/Composite are also analog and don't have lag.

this isn't how it works. vga isn't passive conversion to those formats.

    >He loads his games from USB
homie buy a $5 ethernet cable and use SMB or just burn discs, USB is by far the slowest of all methods. Enjoy your skipping cutscenes and doubled load times

Get with times, boomer, now you use SD/USB via memory card adapter.

        >via memory card adapter
The MX4SIO has similar speeds to SMB on fat consoles, but is significantly slower on slim models.

not the person your replying to but thanks, ill look into this. Was playing Siren on USB and the first 10seconds of cutscenes lag until it catches up

I used to play PS2 with USB isos and loading times were no different than disc games. Cutscenes could be buggy though.

I really dont see how a crt would improve a game like rtcwolfenstein. This is footage from a xbox and upscaled to 1080p and edge enchanced

this would be vastly improved if the vertices floated all around like kingpin
