You can buy a switch, but at this point I'd question why you just wouldn't get a Steam Deck and emulator instead. It costs more, buf it you factor in all those Nintendo games you'd be saving dosh.

There's not much difference between the sizes.

But if you want a switch, then be on the lookout for anything like games that you can't get overseas without getting assfricked by import charges. Every game you posted there is good. I'd probably also add pokemon Arceus to the list too.

Peaceful. There aren't many people nearby, and most of them are elderly. There's green everywhere, and watching the rice fields go through their changes with the seasons is a real pleasure. Time moves slowly here, and people care about each other. I often exchange baked goods for fresh fruits and veggies from my neighbors.

Hardware advanced quicker back then. 1998 was one year before the Dreamcast was released. We have no news about the switch 2. This is more like buying a genesis when the saturn hasn't even been announced yet.

I don't really agree with this. The leap between 1990 and 2000 was monumental, but technology in general is progressing faster now, it's just that the Vidya market evolved in a way that it doesn't rely on tech leaps every 5 years anymore. And even then, the Switch was "old" already on release, so moot point.

Second hand items in Japan are virtually indistinguishable from new ones. I have lived here 9 years and the only electronic I bought new was a smartphone. I bought a Switch in 2019 but have never used it because I missed the boat on the launch models and am still waiting for a software exploit to emerge for the red boxes. If there's still no progress by the end of next year I'll sell it and put the cash towards a launch model of whatever Nintendo's next system is, and hope for better luck.

In japan they make you sort out your garbage which is understandable but you gotta pay like 5$ for certain types of trash.
Also you gotta BUY a special kind of bag at conbini.
Let that sink in. YOU GOTTA PAY TO TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE.

Its not, every municipality will have you buy dumb conbini special bags and dispatch a garbage truck to collect big stuff because they insist on driving garbage trucks of the size of key cars thst can barely carry any garbage

          Anonymous

No, it's nationwide. But the cost of the garbage bags is negligible, and you only have to pay more for oversized garbage like furniture or home appliances.

Is it something to do with their tiny ass cars which means you can't really take larger shit the the dump yourself?

            Anonymous

You can take oversized garbage to the disposal center yourself. It's just that most people do not own a car so it's much more convenient to just pay a negligible sum and let them collect it.

          Anonymous

When the residential areas have super narrow streets with walls on both sides, you can't really fit actual truck sized garbage trucks through them. It's probably because of that.

Well, I was only in Fukuoka, but it had the perks of a city without being too crowded I'd say. Nice downtown to walk through, good public transport, some nice parks and the weather was also pretty nice from October to early December. Felt like summer with 20-27°C, although that was partially due to a heatwave in early December when I was there.
I do kinda regret not going to some onsen, espeically in Ooita since it's supposed to be famous for them.

This varies by 区. I live in Nerima and this is not the case. We only have to pay for them to come pick up large items like microwaves, couches, TVs or washing machines. I paid 1,200円 for them to come pick up my old desk.

I've done some research, very select few .
They do house calls and it's expensive.
Japanese Guys can just go a Pink Salon and get a Blowjob without condom for like a 1000 yen.

Hard pass on the country then. I can just go to Sydney or something and have sex with gorgeous women for pretty cheap.
