I like the league mechanic. It's something different. It's not invasive at all and there is no investment besides Silver Coins, which are tradable so you can do the league mechanic as much as you want.
I'm a bit split on the rewards so far though, maybe it gets better after rank 1000? I've gotten a 5 Divine reward once along with a couple single Divines, some good tattoos/omens but that's about it.
