It was pretty tense for me, but in the very very end it was kind of bullshit because I play with the UI off so I didn't know the objective was "hide" not "run" and every time you try to leave the room during that section you instantly die, but I thought I was being slow so I did it over and over before realizing it was a mandatory hiding section. Still, I did like it, fool that there was a horror game section there and I certainly thought it was tense. Not sure how much I'd enjoy it on a second go around but the first was pretty enjoyable
