The Game is Boring and the Story is Mid.
The Diversity in the game, makes it even worse, showing that they lack vision.
In all promotion material they sell the game as edgy and dark, even trough the music they pick.
When you play the game they have all kinds of genres and it's boring.
They use too much the "dirty" aspect of Night City, imagine buying high end hardware only to see a fundamentally ugly city in 4k.

i meant the proper meaning of the word, Diversity, it's too diverse, in looks, in clothing, in music, in everything, that's boring. I prefer GTA San Andreas over this anytime.

did you play only the story ? if so, i can see someone maybe liking the game, but if you experienced the game fully, it's impossible to "enjoy the shit out of the game"
i subdued every cyberpsycho, did every police scanner mission, all the side quests etc.
i did it all and i loved the game
same but still, idk, the game lacks magic
best part for me is gooning to your female character in the camera mode after downloading the high-res body mods
did all the police scans and side jobs too with a typical op stealth build which was fun but i recognize it was nothing special

The open world served very little purpose other than being something pretty to look at while you went from quest to quest.
There was such huge opportunity to reward exploration yet I found nothing worthwhile by climbing buildings, going into tight alley ways etc.
It felt like the open world developers had never actually played a video game before.
The real tragedy is how wasted Night City is. It's incredibly immersive driving around the city but sooner or later it hits you that it's all just something to look at, you can't really interact with it at all.
Night City looked incredibly at night. The amount of photos I took was crazy, but apart from taking screenshots there was nothing else nothing to do in it. Boring as frick, but god it was pretty
the CDPR dev that streams on Twitch keeps saying that the game is full of "Secrets". All that i've found is either missions or those yellow things on dead bodies hidden in different odd places, THERE'S NO SECRETS, just reading.
SHOW DON'T TELL. In Witcher 3 you really had some secrets, doesn't even compare with Cyberpunk.
I just wish they'd gone harder on the drugs and hookers.

Main story is way too short. By the time i reached the end i didn't really feel like i did much of anything. Adam Smasher was a joke too.
Wonder how much less the game would suck if you forced every item and enemy to spawn at level 1 (or level 20 idk).
I'm sure it would suck still since the guns are essentially bad, but eliminating the Borderlands elements would probably make it noticeably better.
They build in a great stealth system but stealth itself is pointless. Such a waste.

It would need to be completley redone. There was literally no point in creating such a detailed open world city when interactivity with it is basically zero. Even GTA series offers more roleplaying options.

I bought Cyberpunk recently, made my character, met that guy and in the cutscene where you're going through the montage of shit with him my character was headless and T posing despite being on the most updated version
