what's funny is when you turn off all the vaseline the city looks like actual shit with how low they have the sampling rate, there's wires and lines everywhere that are composed entirely of jaggies past 1 feet
Beautiful scenery and vistas. It's "kino" like RDR2 is kino, in that the world itself and the graphics create a lot of atmosphere that is very immersive.
But the story fricking SUCKS. I hated the whole Johnny thing, I hated literally all of the endings, including the DLC endings, and the gameplay is very repetitive. You can only be entertained by the same beheading animation a few thousand times before it starts to feel repetitive.
lolno. Nothing YOU can use anyway.
The new update finally added some combat armor with shoulder pads attached but you're pretty much limited to gay realistic kevlar vests while average arasaka/militech goons look like super soldiers.
Character creation/customization in this game is sub-bethesda tier.
Tanky builds are really fun in the new update, just don't expect to look cool. Ever. Stealth is pretty bad as far as I can tell, enemies have eyes on the back of their heads now.
Yeah, honestly fallout 4 has this game beat on character creation. Cyberpunk doesn't really have a cool power armor equivalent, just those weird construction mechs.
based exoskeleton enjoyer, we've been hungry for too long brother have you played Wildlands? completing the game the permadeath mode unlocks exoskeletons, basically a cherry on top for a pretty sweet game anyway, hope you enjoy cyberpunk
no, if anything it makes them even dumber
they triple down on the whole >le night city is bad its not a happy place meme
all the new endings are stupid af
when does it get good? i did the virtual porno tutorial and it was really boring. then i went and did the drone retrieval mission and that was boring too. im not interested in the story at all and the shooting is kinda average, if not bad.
never, the game consistently gets worse after the prologue. There's nothing to do in the city, nothing to discover, no interesting quests or random encounters
Yeah, except after 2.0 any build that isn't melee sandevistan feels dogshit to play because CDPR ran it into the ground
Netrunner is shit
Stealth and throwing weps are shit
guns are okay I guess

>drive on the wrong side of the road >no reaction >get shot >no reaction >accidentally run into pedestrian that dodged right into your car >this is dispatch, we need you guys to hunt down anon in Watson
I'm playing it through the first time right now after finally upgrading my PC and honestly it's kinda average. Feels like your typical open world GTA clone but with RPG mechanics. Nothing you do in the quests really matter aside from like flavor texts and the main story is eh. I feel like CDPR really bet on the player liking Johnny enough to sympathize, but if you don't gel with him then it's whatever. Like the prologue feels almost entirely different from the rest of the game with the theme "make a name for yourself in night city and go out blazing" being haphazardly replaced with "try to get this chip out of your head and survive". There's also a frickton of glitches like npcs and vehicles spawning and despawning out of thing air and more gamebreaking ones like dialogue being frozen or NPCs becoming uninteractable. I'm on 2.1 and really thought these would be fixed, but they happen enough to consistently take me out of the immersion.
That said I just started the DLC since everyone told me to do it right before the Arasaka Tower quest so I have hopes it'll be written better by being smaller and self-contained so we'll see. But if nothing changes then it'll be a 7/10 game for me.
Also Songbird is best girl hope I can romance her because Panam is a b***h.

I swear I had less of this on 2.0 and whatever the patch before that was. Something in the traffic logic got weird with this update.
this game sucks, playing through phantom liberty now
feels like playing through Mass Effect 3 or Fallout 4: the world and background is pretty cool, some cool characters, totally ass execution and makes me want to abandon any future developments
how the frick did a gayer version of this with trash iOS system end up being the better cyberpunk genre game? Shadowrun Dragonfall and Hong Kong were a lot more interesting and those were basically isometric VNs
THE cyberpunk game
Genre-defining game
The kinoest of kino.
DLSS: vaseline quality
what's funny is when you turn off all the vaseline the city looks like actual shit with how low they have the sampling rate, there's wires and lines everywhere that are composed entirely of jaggies past 1 feet
homosexual playing on a literal iphone, kys
Did you do Rebecca's Gig?
I'm sorry but anal is fricking disgusting and degenerate to the max. Filthy.
Its just a GTA clone with haphasardly tacked on progression system and RPG-style quests.
If anything it's an RPG/immersive sim with GTA features tacked on in the last updates
It's better then GTA in every way expect for the driving.
And GTA5 was just as boring to explore as cyberpunk outside of missions.
>It's an RPG/immersive sim
LMAO
What are you laughing at?
Name a game with a better story. RDR2 sucks.
>Name a game with a better story.
gonna play it in january when my new rig arrives. Does this game have exoskeletons or some bulky armor?
No, armor is pretty much cyberware exclusive now.
lolno. Nothing YOU can use anyway.

oh well. Guess I will have to settle for stealth arche... ehem sniper
Tanky builds are really fun in the new update, just don't expect to look cool. Ever. Stealth is pretty bad as far as I can tell, enemies have eyes on the back of their heads now.
meh there is no point going heavy armor if youre not a hulking juggernaut. Its sad how fallout 4 is still the best game for this
Yeah, honestly fallout 4 has this game beat on character creation. Cyberpunk doesn't really have a cool power armor equivalent, just those weird construction mechs.
There are some helmets and vests that ad to your armor, but the gear is mostly about style.
based exoskeleton enjoyer, we've been hungry for too long brother

does phantom liberty fix the ending?
no, if anything it makes them even dumber
they triple down on the whole
>le night city is bad its not a happy place meme
all the new endings are stupid af
Basically
Which one?
>tfw can't decide on a build because all of them are fun
how did they do it bros
David's Inifinte Sandevistan is the most fun.
I love the totally not dated rockstar mission formula
?
I also love the like 5 weapons in the game, most of which aren't viable
You're literally making up lies as you go
I agree, this game is fricking kino (and also made me drop Starfield forever)
shouldn't have been open world
You would be right op if not for the fact the game is painfully fricking boring.
Name a single more interesting fpp game
>fpp
?
first person penis
when does it get good? i did the virtual porno tutorial and it was really boring. then i went and did the drone retrieval mission and that was boring too. im not interested in the story at all and the shooting is kinda average, if not bad.
never, the game consistently gets worse after the prologue. There's nothing to do in the city, nothing to discover, no interesting quests or random encounters
It doesn't get good. What you described is the whole game.
>"Night" City
>sun rises at 3AM
They kept this from the Witcher 3 and didn't notice. What a bunch of morons, honestly.
It's named after Richard Night, the city's founder.
my problem as well.
Yeah, except after 2.0 any build that isn't melee sandevistan feels dogshit to play because CDPR ran it into the ground
Netrunner is shit
Stealth and throwing weps are shit
guns are okay I guess
Just finished the heist when does this game get good? I’m 5 hours in.
I wanted to like this game. It was supposed to be Blade Runner Ghost in the Shell with the Akira bike but it's fricking not. Give up Takumi.
>It was supposed to be Blade Runner Ghost in the Shell with the Akira bike
game was better before level scaling.
I can't even imagine playing this piece of trash with scaling, enemies were already bullet sponges
My legendary Satara takes out everything in one shot, the scaling is inconsequential to be honest.
and how many dozens of hours of grinding did that take

Stopped reading. Shit taste, homosexual boy.
buy an ad homosexual
your game will never be deus ex
CDPR can't do no wrong, even they start by a royal frick up.
Still looks way better than "cops" in Starfield
rent free
Shit like this makes me not want to buy the game. How hard is it to get some open world ai interactions
>drive on the wrong side of the road
>no reaction
>get shot
>no reaction
>accidentally run into pedestrian that dodged right into your car
>this is dispatch, we need you guys to hunt down anon in Watson
>Gangbangers literally having a shootout in the middle of public
>Cops ignore them
>You bump into someone's car lightly
>Entire cop precinct is on your ass
DE:MD does the le dystopian augmented people genre better. Only thing it lacked was driving I guess.

how does it compare, Ganker?
you did read it before playing, didn't you?
