It's a little buggy and all of the endings are shit.
Loot is fricked up and you'll likely be using the same gear for hours on end.
Dialogue is pretty good though.
needs more in depth character customization. more tattoos to choose from, more piercings, an option to wear israeliteelry.

no, thats another thing they should add. cosmetics alterations to your character depending on the implant you have

There is no roleplyaing! I am always V, who is a dipshit down on their luck, who always teams up with Jackie to be a merc. Just like how I am restricted to being Geralt the broody monster hunter in all of their witcher games. Doesn't matter what background your V has or what motivations you want them to have, the game plays the same for 90% of the time. It's not an rpg and it will probably never will be!

The enemies are all braindead and you can easily become overpowered.
first time i played was on the hardest difficulty. so i had to actually plan my attacks before going in, couldnt survive more than 3 hits, and weapons actually scale to your character. so its possible to have balanced firefights. as well as how extremely satisfying blades and swords are to use, its the closest a game has come to making melee combat fun and realistic

I played on harderst too, it's not particurlarly challenging and the challenge is not very interesting.
to each their own. I still enjoy using blades and cutting people up in this game. its extremely satisfying and no other game compares to the melee combat of this game i m o

just finished my playthrough and loved it, maybe 3 crashes over 80+ hrs of playing? Netrunner build wrecks everything.
Main thing for the expansion would be to add respecing for attributes, not having that is a crime, especially after ER made it so easy.
What ending did you get?
Was able to go for all four main ones, Devil Ending is depressing as hell, ending where Johnny takes body was too, Sun ending was hype until V charged the space station with a car, Star ending heading off with Panam hit good though

Most of the side content is uninteresting and all romance options are shit
There's basically nothing to do outside missions. A couple of side quests and "i'm-surprised-they're-not-procedurally-generated" police scanner stuff. A lot of my game time was literally just abusing the triple jump implants to get out of bounds since that's the only thing left to do at that point.

It's not a real game, it's just an elaborated cyberpunk wallpaper simulator.
No replayability. Assuming you meet the requirements (which aren't that hard to meet), you can do all of the endings on one save. The minor differences that come from romance and the slightly changed ending slides are basically it, and at that point you might as well look them up on the wiki instead of replaying the whole game since barely anything changes.
I played through most of the game not realizing male V couldn't romance Judy. I dropped it right there.

its really too shallow outside of the main quest and the quest design is atroucious, the city is hollow in question of simulation, there is no immersiveness despite the place being pretty. The fact that someone calls you to do a mission instead of you finding it for yourself in several ways like in the Witcher, where you can explore the world that was supposed to be immersive, makes the game a big piece of shit.
seriously, GTA has better phone-quest mechanic than cyberpunk, kek.

People wanted Skyrim: Cyberpunk Edition. CDPR doesn’t make those kinds of games (pretty much no one does outside of Bethesda) so it was always going to be a disappointment. I tried telling people, but they didn’t listen.

buying apartments and cars is pointless
combat drugs still aren't fully implemented, you get exactly one in the entire game from optional dialogue in the prologue quest, probably cut content
the entire leveling/skill system is terrible
In the nomad camp there are a couple really cute girls, a shame you can't have any interactions with them.
Nothing, It was the best game of the last 5 years easily and the expansion will be kino just like the game and its music.

If they had ditched the idea of being a GTA clone the game would be much better.
It's designed too much like a movie. I understand their focus on story telling, but the game systems feel like dry, formal after thoughts piggy backed on movie. And that was a choice, not some limitation or conflict with their story focus. Someone who hates fun forced this on the game. Just look at their change-logs to see their priorities.
Bought it recently on sale... started out nicely but once I got to the city the AI crowd system ruined all the immersion compared to how much work they've put into the main story quest npcs. Refunded that fricker right away.
The voice acting is bad and the story is convoluted, also most of the characters are very lame. Not a single character as good as Jackie

The general consensus on Cyberpunk is that it's a great game with some flaws. It's only contrarians on Ganker that shit all over it. Oblivion and AC1 are also well-loved by the majority of people. You're just another zoomer who doesn't know what contrarian means.
Too much focus on Johnny. The best true cyberpunk stuff was quests that had nothing to do with Keanu like Dream On with the Peralez family and the cyber psycho attacks.
