It's Biotechnica. They are the ''mad scientist'' of bioingeneering corporation. >ARASAKA the tyrant feudal lord >BIOTECHNICA the mad scientist >MILITECH the NRA meets McDonalds
This is also the company that is perfectly fine with mind controlling every human being on the planet (Sandra Dorsett*). The lore is very absurd but when you read about Biotechnica it really makes you hate big pharma. This entire franchise does a really good job of depicting that.
> when you read about Biotechnica it really makes you hate big pharma
Didn't they actually base a lot of Biotechnica on real life big pharma scandals? I'm pretty sure that the music video was made in collaboration with CDPR where you see an assault on a Biotechnica office building had the part where the corporation hid the negative effects of their drug based on real life events.

Yeah, during the 70's and 80's there was a massive push to change the way advertisers promote drugs. In many European nations it's actually illegal to advertise pharmaceutical drugs on television. In America, this is not the case. This big battle took place during the era in which the tabletop game was created so the lore reflects that.

Talk to angry boomers. Especially doctors. There was a period in which salesmen went to different practices and gave doctors bribes such as tickets to sports games or cars. This all happened because of that era. The logical (and ridiculous) conclusion to all of this is still fun to think about. I am a little miffed that there wasn't emphasis put on drugs, but they did a semi decent job at alluding to that history.

It actually is. If the USA and Russia fricked off out of the planet and let Europe be Europe we'd be colonizing Mars right now.

I can't remember the company but I know what story you are referring to. It was part of a massive corporate war that you should definately look into. It's fascinating.
There is a mission in the game where you go to biotechnica flats, and if you read some of the flavor text it's implied that they grow proteins from human tissue for sale to All-foods. It's a reference to a 1973 film by Richard Fleischer.
They are the same company that is suspected for kidnaping people and turning them into playbeings against their will(this was in the cyberpunk 2020 lore if i remember correctly). Sadly there are no playbeings in 2077, the closest i guess are the dolls.
They sort of skimmed it with Evelyn Parker, Woodman having a rape party with her body after getting she got brain fried. They could have made it a lot more interesting. A whole quest line where you infiltrate some epstein island location would have been satisfactory.
That would be too obvious and the jurnos would go apeshit. Thank god that most jurnos skipped a ton of content in the game and also don't read or there would a bunch of homosexuals trying to cancel CDPR.
>it's about being ANYTHING >that's why it HAS to be a black woman!
How about showing multiple different characters? How about showing one character split vertically into 3-4 different slices that have different features you can have in the game? If you want to display the player's ability to be whatever they want it doesn't make sense to represent that with one singular character.
^this has to be a bot. I've been lurking and i've noticed that if you mention Baldur's Gate 3 you get this and a couple of other images posted in your thread for sure.
If you actually played it you'd realize the devs don't know how to make video games so obviously they'd try to hide the fact with more fancy cutscenes featuring that guy from that thing.
At least the concept of a troony makes sense in the Cyberpunk world.
True. Trannies do fit well in a corporate dystopia.
Biotechnica clones human tissue and puts it in food-stuff. Some troon hacking their genitalia off isn't even an issue. T
I really love Cyberpunk 2077 all the sci-fi nods they give. Thing is most zoomers will never appreciate this.
Finally I see anon with taste in this shithole lol
You are alright dude, a cool guy.
why would you not clone beef instead of human

Idk
Cyberpunk dystopias are like that.
what?

P.S. The Dolls are plenty creepy too but the playbeings were even creepier.

I look forward to none of these

and soon it will rise!
call todd he is crying
todd i laughing to the bank since Bethesda already paid him to copy paste No Man's Sky
Why did they have to go with another celebrity, this just makes it look like cp2077's main gimmick is to be a celebrity friendship simulator.
