Sad music and a LOT of lore setting up sequel stuff.
Big fan of Bugsnax on both an ironic and non ironic level.
Its a shitpost but also pretty well made and I am legit interested in its lore, which is an added layer of likable absurdity.
The DLC area was only kinda okay but the writing was good, and it was pretty important to give Floofty and Shelda more stuff because they were both unlikable and annoying. New area gave them a bit more of an arc which is nice.

Because the gay characters just happen to be gay. They don't really make a big deal out of it and it's not their defining character traits. One's a massive nerd and the other is an alpha jock.
Also the writing for pretty much all the characters was surprisingly deep, which you would think would be a weird opposition of the goofy ass gameplay and muppet looking characters, but for some reason it works really really well.
While Bugsnax couldn't match Cyberpunk's humor, it did beat it in terms of gameplay and technological prowess.

Such a shitpost game but it's the guys who made Octodad so it fits perfectly. Actually interested to see what the hell they make next.
