I fricking love it!!!!
I'm so fricking sick of Starfield. Bethesda games are often held up as "the best ever", and Starfield has plastered this board. Oh cool, yet another Bethesda game that just looks and feels like a copy of every other Bethesda game. I don't get the hype for these over games with new and interesting combat mechanics like Phantom Liberty, the fact that Ganker pretends Phantom Liberty is a bad game is proof that this board doesn't really care about videogames anymore.
Starfield looks exactly like every other Bethesda game. Meanwhile, Phantom Liberty is: >Full of content >No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1 >More weapons, build options and personalization than ever before >More enemy variety than pretty much every game in the series, makes the previous game look like a prototype in comparison >Loads of amazing bosses and mini bosses, some secret and plenty in sidequests >Sidequests have been fixed, it's no longer just doing what some ghost tells you, now most are almost just as good as main story content >You get to explore every realm, the world feels more alive than ever, no longer does the game feels like roaming a desolated wasteland Shadow of the Colossus style thanks to plenty of NPCs. >New Game+ will be added to the game soon enough to have even more fun.
Overall an impressive feat and when anyone expresses love for it, you homosexuals rip on them.
From a game design perspective, Bethesda games just feel lazy to me, reused assets, reused mechanics, it really doesn't offer anything new and im not sure if i should laugh at those thoundans of players people who bought this absolute garbage of a game or sad because that many people bought this absolute garbage of a game.
Honestly, for all the shit CDPR pulled, that DLC should've been free >unplayable for years >choices don't matter despite being advertised as an RPG >skill tree are meaningless, unless you're doing pure damage and crit >big city, with so much dead space >half of the total missions are radiant quest, maybe more >awful VA on V >character motivation have no rythm or reason >character arcs barely visible beyond surface level
I finished the game, did all the quests, got all of the achievements within the first two months. I ignored all of the bugs and glitches, and still came out unsatisfied and disappointed
>worked on my machine (GTX 770)
Now it won't, because they didn't optimize for this DLC. LMAO. I'm getting hard loads on a HDD (>implying a SSD should fricking matter when pre-2.0/DLC the fricking game ran fine on a HDD) in areas due to how they fricked up the streaming "tech" for the engine.
whats annoying about bethesdas design is it's not building toward anything in a satisfactory way
every gta game rockstar put out was incredible--state of the art at the time, state of the industry even with vice city and 80s tracks and how that shaped the landscape moving forward
even side titles were investigative--bully, state of emergency. dma purchased remedy and you could see the dna of max payne 2 and 3 in games like red dead revolver or gta5.
it's funny how both are considered AAA developers.
Bethesda is like the older guy that hangs around where younger kids are trying to bang one. They make games for people who dont hold strong convictions about gaming titles--they dont have to grow as a developer if every 5 to 10 years they can just make games for that generations 13 year olds.
Each 13 yr old generation is getting less astute too. 13 year olds who grew up with counter strike would laugh at the thought of paying to connect to online servers, but that's what you do on the xbox one and ps5. It's standard.
We'd never pay for mods, or dlc packaged as a full expansion, but that's the new rules.
So Bethesda keeps hanging around the same school and can afford to offer less and less. Graphics get better on their own, but the company doesnt give two shits about immersion or how the the threshold for immersion continues to grow through the years even if the skill of those on your staff doesnt.
Starfield is gutter trash but this post is also incredibly delusional, CDPR had such a golden goose with cyberpunk that only the anime gave a pulse to they needed less woke IM DYING OF CANCER and every woman is old shit and homosexual gay shit and more cyberpunk not fricking cyber remote work in a city simulator
So fricking gay when the game is actually really good, once it's modded to death it will be fixed
Never forget
This site is plagued by shills, and bots paid to market games.
Gaming is the most profitable industry now, marketing is HALF the budget of every new product.
Marketing, propaganda, advertisement is VERY important for any company
>there's a new woman character with attitude? They keep pushing boundaries
Why not a woman character with VALOUR? Calculating people are not b***hy like every fricking character in this game, the only saving grace is Keanu Reeves unable to be a dyke
Dumbass do you think it’s realistic to have multiple manly women taking charge and bossing everyone? >are you afraid of women
Women are afraid of men and losing attention. These powerful women figures are shoved into these games because fat roastie lesbians threatened to sue otherwise.
I'm just after you find the safehouse with the prez. Got sidetracked with the GTA missions. Anyone find that the objectives for these ones seem like they're either randomly generated or total bullshit? One mission was that I'm supposed to drive this slow ass truck to a garage 3km out and had an optional timer to deliver it in 1:30. The time ran out and I still had half the distance left to go.
Can’t stop playing it and there’s a real sense of progression as I constantly improve my character, although when I finally saw the relic perks none of them excited me all that much.
i loved this clown, one of the best written characters in the fricking game and only because he just fricks around the whole time >in the car he just starts talking about he came from south america >brazil specifically >starts saying WHERE that is >"I KNOW WHERE BRAZIL IS"
>20 body >20 intelligence >20 technical ability >OS that has a 40% bigger quickhack spread and does it instantly >suicide wipes out entire buildings >infinite quickhacks due to health recovery and blood pump with 3 charges
lmao
well that's not possible because anon posted 15 threads saying netrunning is completely gone from this troony game, and you cannot wipe enemies sitting in a car a mile away
I normally rock V's default outfit with the samurai jacket but for PL I went all in on the secret agent vibe. I figured this outfit fit in with Dogtown very well.
So you know how the reflex perks make "blades" better? So katanas and matis blades. Do those also affect throwing knives? I'm kinda curious because both Reflex and Cool affect crits, so I wonder if there is some more synergy between the attributes.
New ending there is just to spite the fans. > Oh you want happy ending chud? You poo-poo piss baby chud? Here, you fricking racis sexist pig, have your "happy ending"! Don't like it? That's too bad! It's a cyberpunk! Only trannies get a happy ending. Fricking cis scum.
No other reason really. And don't give me that writer's vision shit. They could just give their fans what fans asked for, or split new ending in two, the bad that we got, and an actual good one. But no, even minor shit like this is a part of ritual humiliation, spitefully arrogantly not giving people what they ask you for and gave you their money.
Stop paying for games you fricking drone.
They want to push the whole "It's Cyberpunk, and that means it's a horrible dystopia!" angle. But if they did that, could they at least have put fewer rooftop parties in Night City? Shit, everywhere I look there are people just lounging about, shooting the shit and having fun like it's a beach party or something.
>lounging about, shooting the shit and having fun is excessive hedonism
No way you are so fricking stupid you didnt underst
ah I cant even finish writing it you probably are frick it
You're not witty. You're just a dumbshit making excuses for a terrible writing team's lack of consistency by filling in the gaps for them. You're arguing that they have created a dystopian society where everyone is sitting around having fun while also arguing that it's ACTUALLY a pre-dystopian society where the real fascism dystopia is just around the corner.
It's not some amazing amalgam of both these contradictory ideas. It's just shitty writing and tonal inconsistency.
New ending is good, you guys are just morons. You get to be a nomal dude, living long, quiet, peaceful life. Reed's offer is still on a table and you can always hook up with Misty.
Not only that. V still has combat experience and there are probably weapons, clothing and gadgtes which have similiar functions as implants. All he has to do is get some additional martial arts training.
And even if you are salty about your LI - you've known them for how long? Two weeks? What makes you think that V is completely incapable of making new friends?
How is this ending different from the corpo/nomad V's prologue ending?
V is in his twenties and basically got a second chance. He can say frick them all an begin anew. No implant is probably a blessing since he is literally of the grid. He can compensate this with shit like this
There are probably exosuits/skeletons, goggles and gloves which will function with smart weapons. Not same universe but Jet Stream Sam is an example.
You basically live the chill NPC life and almost no one here can appreciate that
It's because this board is obsessed with cuck shit. So now you're just going to get people spamming every cyberpunk thread with Judy calling you and saying she's married or whatever. It's all so tiresome.
I've been e-girlng at people actually pissed at that, how much of a fricking loser are you to where your video game relationship not working out is enough to sour an entire game for you? i don't know about everyone else but i didn't have a single sexual relationship with anyone in this or bauldur's gate 3. these homosexuals need to go back to obsessing about pinkterton
>no cyberware playthrough >all the money you could ever need in the bank >possibly the most accomplished person in the entire city, a literal living legend >oh no you were in a coma for 2 years and can't use the cyberwarez any more everything bad forever oh no
makes no sense to me
The "sadness" comes from his friends. Literally everyone gave up and steered into a path which theyve antagonized.
Viktor sold out
Panam is probably dead
The cop ruined his life because of his vegetable cousin
Takemura blames his failure on you
Misty just fricks off
Judy, no one gives a frick about judy
>everyone he knows completely flips out and gets a bad ending just because and you're in a coma so he can't have done anything that's just the way it is, goy, sorry, this massively overly simplified ending is just how life is, the game is just like that bro, the theme is futility because that's how how it needs to be ha ha
Except V got the best ending. He has money, he is off the grid, he is in his 20s. He can do whatever the frick he wants to do. His "friends" can get fricked. If it were possible, I would kill every single one of them.
Yeah, that's the way it is sometimes. I had a friend for three weeks once, and we were fairly close, then he died. I instantly gave myself over to my enemies, utterly gave up on all my beliefs and blame my dead acquaintance for all my failures forever.
people seem to forget about Morgan Blackhand, man barely has any implants, he is pure skill and only chromes up if a job needs it, then takes it off.
V has a lot of skill for a young guy and the only reason those gonks landed a punch on him was because he wasn't looking for a fight AND was fresh out of a coma, you've all seen how people who have been bed-ridden look after waking up, he was at his absolute weakest.
I honestly think that this will be left as the canon ending for a sequel, leaves enough of an opening for V to become the protagonist again, maybe with a team mechanic like classic PnP Cyberpunk since V can't just solo it all on his own anymore.
yes, exactly >inb4 it's muh le cyberpunk
many cyberpunk works have good endings, and even when the mc died it still left you hopeful and fulfilled (BR2049 for example)
this one is just nihilistic miserywank for the sake of miserywank
Im glad they didnt give in to the pressure on the other hand
miserywank? sure but at least there is not objective "good" ending, that always annoys me in games
it also stays in line with other endings
The lack of interest they have for their own characters or fanbase is fricking moronic. Like this couldn't have been solved in five minutes by having a single few seconds of your V smiling before disappearing into a crowd at the end.
It kind of does feel like this whole thing is a big ESG humiliation ritual. How much shot can you be forced to eat by these devs while still pretending it's ice cream
new updated list with the update now that we know V can survive: >you an hero >your friends die for you, you go out in a blaze of glory and die soon anyway >you frick off with your gf who can probably heal you with ghetto injun techmagic >you sell your soul and frick off to space to make enough money to buy your cure >you sell your soul to arasaka >you give your body to johnny >you cuck out for the feds and cuck your best friend
new shitty ending made like half the endings good.
>new shitty ending made like half the endings good.
Honestly it made the prospect of a cure that much more feasible and in most of the endings you are with people who can find that cure.
brb taking Nintendo to court because it's not the legend of Zelda at all, I play link!
Also I want backdated reparations from Square Enix because their fantasies weren't final
I started a new run it will be a while until i get to the dlc. I played on release and honestly I can't even tell what the changes are because I don't remember anything.
Only thing I can tell is that this car is finally fricking purchasable, which was my favorite car in the game.
Vidya quality overall has continued to decrease so hard that this game is now considered a quality experience and a good game by comparison to current releases. Its still junk at its core and nothing will fix basic design flaws
Cyberpunk 2.0 and PL were shallow but fun. But it's back to another BG3 replay for me. Didn't buy your game btw. Only Larian deserves my money this year. No contest.
>life paths still do nothing >rpg mechanics are bare bones >still a borderlands looter shooter >anaother celebrity
Frick them and frick any loser who forgave them. You are the reason we have shit games
whats upsetting about lifepaths is how they were clearly created as a marketing tool and no media has called them out on it
they change nothing about the game but were advertised as a huge feature, which is bizarre.
what would be cool is if ccp added actual gameplay to each lifepath. maybe each dlc came with a fleshed out lifepath. that could be an interesting way to build a game, since games come half finished anyway--finish the main parts of it, then work backword and fill in the gaps.
To be fair, they just expanded the missing chunk of lower Pacifica. It was never going to be much larger than other districts.

How do you like it? Im still not past musem
My issue with Dogtown so far is that it feels less like CP2077 and more like a mix of Fallout + Rage/Mad Max. I'm not really fond of seeing the shanty town aesthetic.
Mods are still updating but the missing person mod is cool. It adds quest markers to all of the secret locations in the game, it has really good loot. Most people don't even know they exist without the mod
2.0's too new to recommend anything other than visual and minor QoL mods, like Load Begone and so on. Many mods aren't needed anymore, and balance/gameplay mods need to be fully reworked.
I'm liking it so far. Dogtown has a lot of verticality that the rest of Night City lacks. I find myself walking a lot more from place to place, but that might be more due to how shit the roads are (it feels appropriate but still).
I don't think I'm far in at all. Prez and Reed left so I'm just hanging around doing gigs for a bit. Although it was weird, I got 2 texts from Reed before they left, one was upset I wandered off, despite the objective being "leave the building" lol, probably bugged.
I'm doing a heavy weapons heavy cyberware build and it's goddamn hilarious to just walk into a place and be fricking untouchable.
It's nice you can find cyberware as loot now. It's also cool they have a vendor for missed Iconic stuff right at the start of Dogtown. I'm a sucker for filling in my collection so it's nice to know I'll never fully miss out on anything.
yep I gathered as much, seen some footage but didn't look deeply into it wasn't sure if it were a proper boss fight or just some cinematic sequence
Is it any fun? Boss fights in the base game were a bit disappointing imo

>Boss fights in the base game were a bit disappointing imo
Not sure if this is a popular opinion, but I've always thought that boss fights in general in FPS games are always kind of shit. I'd much rather have a boss fight be an interesting encounter than just having a big spongy "boss". Something like The End from MGS3 or something (yes I know it's not really an FPS game).

yep can't think of many good boss fights in fps from the top of my head, I think Half Life+2 did it right, recently maybe Ultrakill but it's been a while since I touched it so I'm not sure?
I still have yet to meet Hanako at Embers
Oda almost filtered me in base game, I don't think bulletsponges make for good fights so that boss was just tedious for me. There's no risk for the ai to just rush you while you empty tons of mags on their face without them even flinching

>Boss fights in the base game were a bit disappointing imo
Basegame bosses now scale to your level, so you can no longer clown on Adam Smasher with a dildo. They hit MUCH harder and are way more resiliant, but the mechanics are mostly the same.
Apparently, Oda is now a murdermachine that will filter you if you tackle the Act 2 finale too early.

It starts as cinematic chase sequence then you fight it inside an abandoned musuem. You have to scan it and shoot its weak points before finishing it off like the Major did in the movie.

>want to make a Netrunner stealth guy >play on Very Hard on a new save >it's fun because failure doesn't just mean I can gun my way out >either have to try to stealth out or book it >but often just die >get decently high level before phantom liberty >sure no sweat >entire first hour is a series of combat encounters >eventually combat encounters where you just have to shoot and have no other alternatives >die in one to two hits >squatting in the crashed plane while my RAM recharges taking potshots >enemies constantly swarming your position in heavy gear, tanking explosive sniper rounds to the head with ease
It was not fun.
The Spider Tank was cool, though. If you're going to go for set pieces that's probably the way to do it.

The part where you save myers was definitely meant for a Body build. The game throws scores and scores of tabky barghest goons at you that I couldnt imagine how cancer it was if i didnt have becca's shotgun + sandevistan. Also adrenaline is pretty much required in PL content due to how hard enemies hit you.

I abuse the shit out of Sandevistan. It really is like the anime.

man I really wanna try a Sandy playthrough now but I don't know if I can bring myself to play through the game again
And then CDPR is going to drop redkit when they have two of the most visually amazing games on the market as Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk
They could have made 5 witcher spinoffs and 5 cyberpunk DLCs and finished the fricking game so it doesn't have a trash ending and instead they shoot it in the face so they can have a Black person president
Fricking what is the point they spend all this time making a beautiful game and slather it in roastie game design making the final boss trash that walks towards you then more gimmick trash instead of just adding 10 more missions and releasing DLCs which people will buy like hotcakes
What is their fricking point? To prove that unreal engine runs like shit when they will make witcher 4 and try to overload it with the same environment as Witcher 3 and be shocked when unreal engine is meant to run simple fortnite maps not a big open world?
That's because it's more time efficient to just drop Redengine and focus on Unreal rather than having to handhold and tutor any new hire they get that wouldn't have any experience with it in the first place. The number of fresh out of school game developers and "just a big fan of the game" modders that would have experience with Redengine pales in comparison to those that would know Unreal, because Unreal runs the gamut from Arkham games to XCom.
I understand the dev implications but CDPR deserves a good trashing for being so pathetic about cyberpunk. On release contrarian cringerpg gays were trashing the game for being broken but I was really blown away by the game overall to be let down the main story was 20 hours and utter trash. It deserves so much more and only the fricking Netflix anime actually tried.
You can pretty much start PL right off the bat from the main menu, but it's suggested you start a new game from a fresh save, because the changes to most mechanics in 2.0 are significant.
The DLC and the 2.0 update still highligts my biggest problem with the game. Outside of the admittedly nicely done setpiece story beats, a LOT of the shit is just back to back to back brainless combat with braindead enemies.
Dogtown especially looks genuinely fricking amazing as a location but you can't do anything in it. It just drives home how Night City is literally just a fancy looking backdrop for mindless arena fights to happen in. The "hard" enemies and some bosses I've come across so far are just like Adam Smasher -- dumb bullet sponges that aren't really interesting to fight. None of the fights are interesting, the game doesn't try to meet the player halfway. And with the new skill trees and augments, they're basically asking you to meet the game MORE than halfway.
But going back to the biggest problem. There are a ton of parts in the DLC where they just ask you to pass the time again. And like, what do they expect you to do? The only thig you CAN do deslite how detailed the areas are is ride a car and shoot mooks. Nothing else. It reminds me of how shallow everything is when you step outside of the combat mechanics of the game which is equally underutilized because the enemy and encounter designs range from okay to mediocre. But credit where credit is due. CDPR know how to really craft nice looking scripted sequences and mission moments but that was always the case even back in the first game. They just doubled down on the stuff the game was decent at which further contrasts with all the things the game is still shit at.
well they are dropping the engine so its not really surprising they dont address anything more imo
I also think a lot of people would complain if dogtown was fundamentally different than base game (and they were very much never reworking that)
>There are a ton of parts in the DLC where they just ask you to pass the time again.
tbh the expectation is that you do the dlc alongside the main game
so ideally you drop in other side quests in between the main missions
but i do get how everything really just devolves into firefights its a testament to how cdpr probably just gave up on other auxiliary systems and hyperfocused on the doodads the players can use in combat
witcher got away with this because you can come across an undiscovered location in middle of nowhere and on exploring it discover a nice little mini story, it didn't need much interactivity beyond some letters and signs of struggle. There's nothing at all like that in cyberpunk, it's just a bland city with a coat of paint and soulless inhabitants walking around on rails all day, there's nothing to discover about it. The DLC needed to add something major beyond a new area with nothing going on
I honestly think that's because witcher's fantasy setting offers a little bit more mystery. Like it's generally more interesting to find a mystery about a missing person who ends up being actually a werewolf.
Meanwhile, a good chunk of cyberpunk's quests are rather mundane, usually about some gonk who messed with gangs and got fricked so you gotta kill everyone else in the area. The only time the game actually gets interesting is whenever the plot steers into anything related to cyberspace. This is why the Voodoo Boys questline is unironically my favorite part of the game because of how trippy it was.
>This is why the Voodoo Boys questline is unironically my favorite part of the game because of how trippy it was.
...but the entire finale of Phantom Liberty is a trippy surival horror where you fight a CyberVecna.
The DLC and the 2.0 update still highligts my biggest problem with the game. Outside of the admittedly nicely done setpiece story beats, a LOT of the shit is just back to back to back brainless combat with braindead enemies.

Yeah I arrived at the same conclusion too.
Combat and build customization is great. No interesting enemies or encounters to really push the combat to its full potential.
Extremely pretty cityscape. Nothing to do in it.
Well done story and mission moments. Mostly linear with a handful of crossroad choices that really only truly affect the ending.
Just driving or walking around the world is immersive as frick but try to do anything else besides pulling out your gun at something and it falls apart instantly.
>Just driving or walking around the world is immersive as frick but try to do anything else besides pulling out your gun at something and it falls apart instantly.
Mods will fix this in time just like Skyrim. This game will become a great basis for mods and be very good in many years. I have a playthrough of witcher 3 in first person scheduled for myself in the mean time.. CDPR missed out on a lot of money but it is understandable they would get frustrated fixing the gigantic game it is
It's crazy there is no goal to at least simulate good ai. You dont need ai to be all knowing, it just needs to make you think it's figuring you out.
I'm hoping there is a movement in modding to make a grounded version of some of these games for people who grew up with games and expect more than point and click simulators.
>it just needs to make you think it's figuring you out.
The game fakes this. Whenever you activate sandevistan you have maybe a 30% chance that a mook that has it will activate theirs in response to fight you at the speed you're going.
Audio could use some work but I unironically enjoy it better than Wolfenstein, Battlefield, and even CoD. Mostly because some of the reload animations are fun to look at. Probably the one I like better is Killzone 2.
>Battlefield, and even CoD. >Better than
2042, maybe. But you're absolutely off your rocker if you think it's better than BF3, 4, and CoD. >Mostly because some of the reload animations are fun to look at.
Oh, you're one of *those* people.
I bet you cream yourself to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7HGmUBQOHM
>MUH FUNNY RELOADS DOE!
>Probably the one I like better is Killzone 2. >I like heavy input lag
No wonder.
That doesn't mean Cyberpunk's is *bad* but it's not *great*. It's tolerable, but you're crazy if you think it's better than "arcade" shooters that is PvP/focused on the gunplay.
alright
hope the start of the game won't be as bad as I remember with all those bullet sponge enemies since I start with shitty guns and the playable are being small until I do the heist
then again by the mid game I could craft op as frick guns and armor mods for my clothes that made me unkillable so i guess it's for the best
Enemies now scale to your level. So, they are relatively easy to kill, but hit hard until you get some better chrome.
And clothes no longer give you armor. They are now just cosmetics, you get armor by investing in cyberware. And now you can't go beyond a certain cyberware limit, because cyberpsychosis. It's actually a pretty great system that doesn't feel like W3 knockoff.
Growl FM, the Idris Elba one (Impulse?) and some other one. Idris Elba one is fun if you like house/hip hip, Growl FM is hit or miss, because fan content. But Sasha Grey is great as a complete schizo host.
Misty going to live in Poland in that new ending is such a fricking disastrous indicator of how CDPR writers think. They're so deep in the "capitalism has failed" rabbit hole that they'd literally have a character do the equivalent of defecting to North Korea. Either they didn't know the lore they were adapting, or didn't care.
This is such a pathetic take, I hope you're baiting. Imagine doing something so fricking stupid with the setting you're adapting, then saying "uh but yeah I am from there bro so shut up". Besides, you have to be the most kind of braindead moron to be Polish and root for communism as a solution to literally anything other than being alive.
Poland in 2077 is no longer a shithole as per Pondsmith. Yes, he did that because of CDPR's involvement in promoting his setting, but you are literally referencing obsolete lore.
What? No. Poland in the lore is still a vicious and brutal authoritarian regime. It's literally the worst excesses of fascist communism The frick are you talking about?
Pretty fun causing trouble. It happened again while I was just checking how the game looks on lowest settings instead of heading to the crash site immediately. I hope I can redeem myself somehow.
Not sure if anyone else has encountered it, but my DLSS says it's off in the settings despite being on. And I know it's on because I've fricked with that setting a bunch and will randomly go from 60 fps to 21 fps.
How? Do you have the path tracing on?
My game runs buttery smooth on my RTX 3090, with everything cranked up to max, with only the path tracing off, because that eats up resources like crazy.
haven't brought it it.
started over for 2.0 and enjoying it more than ever. even though I already played ~110 hours since launch.
so i'll get there, just no real reason to rush.
Non-lethal is a moronic meme and in most video games is functionally identical to lethal except with blue bullets instead of red. In the end, they're both nameless bodies lying on the floor while the player gathers loot before triggering the next cut scene.
Most likely no. Maybe some small gig or a weapon here and there, but don't expect Cyberpunk 3.0. It will be mostly bugfixes.
They are all moving to Cyberpunk 2.
No. Anyone who worked on Phantom Liberty is going to be moved onto Project Orion. There is likely a very small team left behind to address any bugs or major issues for the next little while before being moved as well.
20 body/20 reflexes/20 tech Katana, zip around at lightning speed doing aerial acrobatics and shit beheading EVERYTHING while V cackles in cyberpsychotic glee
Yeah, that's the 20 tech part. Apogee sandevistan+axlotl = endless ZA WARUDO. Add on the thermal projectile launch system and Errata thermal katana that always crits on burning enemies and you're a whirlwind of death
>can I play non-lethal >UHHH OF COURSE YOU CAN moron >are you sure, because these scripted events force you to kill due to bad game design >UHHH WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY NON-LETHAL ANYWAY HURRR STUPID
at what part of the game does the DLC takes place?
Haven't played the game in ages but I just can't but to think that huge side quest in middle of the story working as spy for US government (at least thats what I have heard the story to be about) feels somewhat out of place.
So is anyone else getting the bare minimum intelligence checks dialogue options? Had multiple that were the base 3 levels.
Like, how would a 3/10 intelligence tard know what ICE hack is.
Body is fun. Mixed with Tech, it's fantastic. Explosions fricking everywhere. Corpses being ripped apart. Throwing c**ts.
I don't use guns of any kind. Just jump down into the middle of a horde of enemies, body slam them, watch them being torn apart, then pick up the body pieces and throw them at other people. Who then EXPLODE into gore which gives me more corpses to throw at c**ts.
I tried playing anything else but it's just not fun. I don't know how you homosexuals play anything else.
>enemy takes cover behind a car >finally have enough RAM to do what I've been waiting hours to try >self destruct the car >uses like 21 of my RAM >only does about 75% of his hp
Well that was underwhelming
Hacking is overpowered, but a lot of it is trash when you can just spam DoT's on everything and spread them to everyone and keep chaining them while a mile away from your car seat.
Yeah for the same RAM, I can just spam overload 3 or 4 times and it do 5x the amount of damage.
I've found more often than not I can just contagion into an overload and it'll kill basically anything that isn't a boss
That's what overclock is for and seems to be a vital part of any netrunner build. This way you can spam shit like short circuits 5 times. You can also use health items so you can use more quick hacks. Really drives home the image of a netrunner literally frying him/herself and bleeding from the nose to perform more hacks.
I am fricking mad about the "endless mission" stuff, I am absolutely mad actually, I WANTED FRICKING ENDLESS NCPD MISSIONS YOU FRICKING homosexualS I WANTED ENDLESS FRICKING NCPD MISSIONS I WANTED TO WALK AROUND THE FRICKING CITY AND FIGHT CRIME AND NOT BE LEFT WITH NOTHING TO DO IN THIS FRICKING HUGE CITY!!!!
THIS IS SUCH A FRICKING WASTE ITS INCREDIBLE!!
HOW CAN YOU FRICK UP SUCH A SIMPLE THING THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWINGLY DUMB!!!
Wait you can't just reset the NCPD missions after you clear the map?
What happens at the end of the game if I clear everything off the map? Am I just left with nothing? I know the game doesn't have a NG+ or anything.
YES, YOU ARE LEFT WITH FRICKING NOTHING!!!
NOTHING TO DO IN THIS FRICKING HUGE CITY!!
YOU JUST HAVE TO WALK AROUND AND BE LUCY ENOUGH TO FIND SOME SHITTY GROUP OF FRICKING homosexual CRIMINALS AND DEAL WITH THEM!!
BUT NO MORE AREAS THAT YOU CAN CLEAR TO GET SOME LOOT, NOTHING!!!!
This is an absolute frick up man, I was sold with the fricking "endless missions/events" in the advertising, but what a fricking let down, I feel it in my heart, this fricking bitter feeling.
I just cannot understand, this is a city that you want to continue exploring, I fricking run in this fricking city I walk I DONT TELEPORT I want to keep killing the criminals endlessly , keep them at the same fricking place I dont give a frick I wantto kill them in different ways ENDLESSLY FRICKING CD PROJEKT homosexualS
I wonder how hard it would be to make a mod that resets ncpd missions. Afail they dont rely on any important quest flags so it should be safe to touch them. Since cyberenginetweaks got updated we should be seeing more mods soon.
Frankly I just want the mod that allows you to sit anywhere or drink and eat at cafes to get updated.
>Since cyberenginetweaks got updated
thanks for letting me know, anon. I was waiting for this shit for almost a week now, but I figured they were waiting for PL before updating
I just find it incredible that they did not do it, it is mindblowing, I sure hope that a mode would add it, just like being able to keep cars that you steal, just how hard is it to add stuff like that?
These things aren't hard to make, but honestly nobody really cares enough to mod this game, and the mod tools than CDPR tries to force on people are absolute shit and need so many workarounds that it makes any kind of serious modding impossible. Don't hold your breath on anything big from the modding community, especially after CDPR decided to nuke every mod they could for the release of PL to keep it pure.
Don't know about everyone else but where it previously ran at 60fps on high it now crashes when launching or when loading me into a cutscene. Kept trying to make a new character and it would shit itself. Set everything to low just to see if that was it and game still freezes and shits itself, gave up on making a new character.
I think it's your system, I have a 5950x overclocked to the edge of stability and my shit's been fine, only had problems rendering in photo mode occasionally but I think that's from my vram OC
>WHAT, IF I COMPLETE EVERYTHING THAT THERE IS TO DO IN A GAME THERE'S SUDDENLY NOTHING LEFT TO DO AFTERWARDS? WHAT THE FUUUUUCK
why does every single game need to have endless bsg radiant quest bullshit?
wrong, games should end btw, there is nothing wrong with an experience having an intended ending, every single game doesn't need to be an endless chinese skinnerbox you adhd riddled zoomer.
>no you can't go back and re-read a chapter of a book if you like it, you have to read it all through to the end right away you zooomerrrrr!
You really are a silly billy, but I shall continue to engage with media on my own terms.
To be fair, outside of Skyrim almost no open world has repeatable quests. Even Fallout 4 eventually runs out of content, even Preston's settlement rescue quests.
One thing cyberpunk 2077 needed was more non combat and non driving related quests. Something related to maybe making shady transactions or diving underwater for lost goods would have been a plus.

A dead-drop system would have been easy enough to implement. Jobs sent to you by e-mail or some shit which are explained through text and give tasks which are partially procedurally generated. A bit like quest givers in daggerfall. Wouldn't take more than a few hours if they cared.
re-reading a chapter of a book closer to restarting the game after finishing it. what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it.

start a new game or reload a save.
>what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it.
No, nobody is expecting constant NEW content. Just a way to interact and engage with the existing content in the same way as before. Like...re-reading a chapter of a book.
re-reading a chapter of a book closer to restarting the game after finishing it. what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it.
What a great idea to let this huge city left empty after doing all the content, that would make no sense to put some kind of system here actual marked events take place, like I dont know, you get calls froms the NCPD that notice you that there is some shit happening near you and that you can take care of it.
No its better to left this huge city empty, thats a great idea.

>what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it
Not at all. If you really want to use this analogy it would be something like this >read a book >go chapter by chapter >finally get to the end >want to go back and re-read a chapter >the pages are literally blank >you are no longer allowed to re-read a chapter without starting entirely over from the start of the book

so a game dynamically creating new events for you to interact with is the same as reloading a save and doing the same event over again?

Why are you being purposefully obtuse? All that was asked in the original post is why you can't reset NCPD missions

why are you so opposed to a game ending? is it really so enthralling to walk up to 3-5 enemies and instantly kill them? just fight the ncpd, you'll get a far more challenging fight with many more enemies, and it'll actually test the effectiveness of your build.

>why are you so opposed to a game ending?
It has nothing to do with me being opposed to anything though. I enjoy the game and just wanted more stuff to do as I continue to roam about a world that I'm immersed in. >is it really so enthralling to walk up to 3-5 enemies and instantly kill them?
If that is how you play the game so I can see how that might seem boring to you.

This is the worst answer that I could get.
No, I want to continue having fun with my character, I just want tto ROLEPLAY AS A FRICKING CRIMINAL HUNTING MACHINE.
FRICK YOU CDPR FRICK YOU REALLY DEEP

This is absolutely abysmal to think about, terrible choices.

CDPR isn't a very good company. I don't know why everyone thinks they are. They captured lightning in a bottle with The Witcher 3, but that was after some rather abortive attempts in the first and second games respectively. After that, who has really interacted with the stuff they made? Who played the witcher card game, or any of the other witcher themed garbage they spat out? Nobody. yet everyone treats them like this big company who is going to make perfect games every time, when we can see from CP2077 that they really aren't up to the task.
They're the guys who tried to turn a one-trick pony into a pony-themed franchise, nothing more. They don't treat anyone particularly fairly or kindly, and treat modders like garbage cattle to be herded about for crypto-profit, so as far as I am concerned, they can frick themselves.

In perspective you are absolutely right, but there is so much money behind this game, so many people, such simple choices...

so much money, but very little of it knows how to translate that into making a decent game. I wonder if that's even the point. When you look into CDPR for even a few minutes, you realise they were a small subsidiary of CDP investment financing, a global investment non-profit, and everything makes a lot more sense. Scratch the surface and everything is just corporate jargon. Less invested in making good games than Ubisoft.
It's probably just someone with no real self-confidence/personal identity so they've latched onto a consumer product and can't handle holes being poked in it. Really just sad. Shill is a bit of an oversimplification.
Just loot literally everything off enemies you kill, sell the heavy stuff like weapons and eventually you can look back at your inventory and with luck you'll have some clothing that isn't shit
One thing to note is that clothing vendors now have been changed so that they sell themed outfits. So the tyger claw vendor only sells punk outfits. The girl in northside watson only sells black biker/maelstrom style outfits. The other vendor near watson center sells common everyday outfits. The fat girl at the west coast of corpo center sells gold and white outfits. Etc.
Also I wanted to add that the famous "endless missions/events" looting chests stuff, are just in Dog Town, just fricking limited to THIS FRICKING AREA, NOT ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!
WHAT THE FRICK!!!!
This fricking "start a new characters" is making me mad, this is so fricking moronic, I would if there were some kind of fricking new game plus, but there is not fricking NG+
NG+ with only secondary missions would be good, but not, there is nothing...
why is cdpr so evil. this is almost as bad as when fromsoftware blocked access to online in elden rings when people simply unlocked their 60 fps limiter with a mod
So I'm finally starting out the DLC after grinding a bit for augments and skill points. Just took a quick break.
And jesus frick. I love the really blatant bladerunner visuals and the surprise escape from new york vibes but it's been over an hour now and I'm STILL just shooting and slicing shitty AI running at me with the president. I am getting bored out of my mind. Cyberpunk has great combat options for YOU the player but waves and waves of uninteresting enemies is such a buzzkill. Don't tell me every main setpiece and encounter is going to be like this even after Idris shows up. A steam friend of mine is a bit ahead in his playthrough and he says it's basically just long stretches of talking heads and combat for the entire time. Is that true?
>just long stretches of talking heads and combat for the entire time. Is that true?
To be fair, that's the rest of the game. Also, Phantom Liberty is a spy thriller with a
>the expansion suddenly takes a turn from Deus Ex into System Shock.
t-thanks, I guess.
twist since Songbird ventured beyond the Black Wall and attracted a rogue AI and got her some cyber aids
Made a character somewhat inspired by Songbird since the dlc seems to favor a netrunner character.
Also, anyone else feel like cyberpsychosis is rather useless? It makes a single enemy fight for a few seconds and while it says that it also doubles as a suicide button if there are no other enemies around, the target just flails around for a few seconds doing nothing. It seems to better to just either spam contagion or short circuit instead.
It's weird how Ray Reconstruction looks good in some areas but absolutely flounders in others when compared to the old denoiser. The ghosting is just awful and it reminds of how some injector mods for other games can look if you use a more recent DLSS version without tweaking it using DLSS Tweaks.
It still needs some more fine tuning sadly. Hopefully they can fix it up and make it available for regular ray-tracing as well because the reflections in this game look so damn good.
What the frick happened to Mr Hands?
Before he seemed like a sleazy used car salesman. Now they've gone and turned him into something more liek Alber fricking Wesker.
Is this a spoiler related thing or could they just not get the va back?
I miss that guy. Seemed cool.
>be mr hands >be a faceless, hidden identity of a fixer >handles exclusively the Black personzone and the voodoo boys >due to bugs his face has been revealed a few times albeit not canon >show up in this obscure part of the map at the end of the mayor thing >hes watching you from a balcony which you can jump to because games busted >nothing happens, he just disappears
and if you read the description of both of them you can definitely call em out >mr hands was originally high ranking corpo and due to bullshit had to bail to save his own ass >now nobody knows his location, what he looks like, or anything about him aside from his hands >mr blue eyes is literally unknown to the entire fricking city even the people who are good at their job at finding who people are >given what we're told hes high ranking in some space corpo bullshit and likes to frick with politicians >only detail we know is he has blue eyes and post-game gives V the big heist in space
theyre very similar in their existence. both obscenely mysterious, one without a face to match, and if you want to speculate, its likely because hed be identifiable with his bright blue eyes, hence the obscuring of the face for mr hands
id rather double down on being moronic because prior to posting at all i saw the problem but decided i put too much effort in and rolled with it anyway
Do any of the original characters, besides Johnny, come up or have any impact on the Phantom Liberty content? Am I going to miss out on anything because I didn't meet Kerry yet or finish Panam's quests?
Playing the vanilla story. Is it weird to say Cyberpunk reminds me of the Yakuza games? Kinda static map, a lot of running/driving between missions, lots of back and forth between characters, eccentric action in-between it all.
Poorgay here. They bricked my game which used to run fine on my PC, with this 2.0 nonsense. I can't afford the $400 PC upgrade right now. Feeling really salty about not even being able to play my normal modded Cyberpunk anymore. CDPR really hates the poorgays. RIP.
I've spent a little too much time obsessing over why the pirated copy doesn't work. My mistake was believing that there is no DRM and the problem is with my PC or something. It's solvable, but dang, that was a blind spot.
Oh, that. Latest version crashes 100% if you run the game without Galaxy. If you delete Galaxy64.dll, the game will run, but the dlc won't be activated. If you replace it, and another dll (I forget which, same folder), with the ones from the original 2.0, the whole thing works. So, there is DRM now. Legitimate customers refusing to use Galaxy would also be fricked, so I wonder if they'll backtrack.
It wasnt launching on my pc, but I run it in win8 compatibility and it launched without problems. It seems like people wth legit copies had the same issue.
I like it so far. Dogtown reminds me of New Vegas in a way. My small complaints are Idris' voice acting isn't the best at times and it doesn't really feel like a spy thriller.
I was kind of excited to play the game again but I got an avalanche of bugs in the fricking prologue including everyone T posing and walking around, invisible NPCs and weird crashes. I don't know how but its somehow worse than when I played it at release and I've upgraded my system since then too.
It sucks.
Story is fricking awful.
Mary Jane netrunner can some how remotely hack your relic.
Says she can cure you and gives you no details so of course you're in.
Mary Jane netrunner is one of best net runners ever, recruited by government at age 13.
Needs you to save president who is on plane that falls right on top of you.
President is Mary Jane who is strong ewpowered women who kicks ass while wearing a dyke hair cut and high heels.
You and these people you just meet talk about how how you are there for each other.
Do they pay writer's?
Or do they just pick from free scripts that get submitted from fans?
I lost my hype for this game when it was revealed that I couldn't be a media and there were only 3 lifepaths. And then I fully dropped it when I heard that 2 of them railroad into the third and I can't even be a corpo past the prologue.
Is the world at least fun to play in now? Are there flying cars? Is the A.I better? Are the characters pleasing to look at?
>vehicle overhaul >increased density >whizz around at top speed in first person >free adrenaline simulator
I'm honestly having more fun with this than anything
I still haven't finished a playthrough at 44 hours total, but I think 2.0 is good enough that I will
that is really fricking disappointing I really want someone to make either a rollerblade or even soap shoe or heelys mod, it's weirdly fun to kind of "glide" down rails in this game
lmao the cope and seethe
sex is fluid and can be changed at a dime
want a wiener hace a wiener want a vegana have a vegana
sex is yours and be proud and be happy
i like it so far and the game runs well on my setup but i have to restart the game if i fast travel to often or switch from map to ingame too often. feels like theres some memory leak there somewhere in the map screen.
So far its just how much damage enemies do to you. Difference between normal and hard is very steep. Like in normal they barely tickle you then at hard a single shot shaves off 1/4 or 1/5 of your hp. Hard is nice because it encourages you to constantly move around or take cover. All in all I'm really glad enemies arent bullet sponges anymore. At most even the biggest enemies take maybe 3-4 shotgun blasts to the face.
Man imagine if netrunners required a runner chair in order to do hacking. I think the shadowrun games even allowed you to besiege data fortresses as a mini game.
>Man imagine if netrunners required a runner chair in order to do hacking
I'd have creamed myself.
Frick Patrick K. Mills and frick Pondsmith for not mandating the cross-word puzzles the 2E Netrunning was because he took Genesys' "quick server builds lol" netrunning rules for RED/4E and thereby Mills took that for 2077.
Don't care about the president and dogtown look like dogshit
Also the gigs and police shootouts in the main game weren't generic enough so the devs added randomly generated missions which are even worse
Someone spoil all the twists and shit please. I met with Song at that dumb bar we had to sneak into. I scanned the gingers and just left. Is song bad? Do we betray the Black? Explain it all.
Long story short Songbird/So Mi is infected by Rogue AI aids since she breached the Black Wall. You can help her go to the moon to be cured or you can surrender her to Reed and NUSA since she's a rogue agent who knows confidential state secrets. The latter is considered the "good ending" since it unlocks the new ending later on. However, it is implied that Songbird remains a soulless husk being controlled by the NUSA which is why she tells you to just kill her when you meet her again and Reed regrets what he just done
So basic rule of cyberpunk is to never trust corpos and that Johnny is right about Myer's being a lying rat after the implication that she got Jacob and Taylor "killed" after promising them that rayfield and monetary compensation.
You rock anon thank you. One final question. I assume this leads to a confrontation with Reed. Can you convince him to let Song go to the moon or must you kill him?
Depending on your dialog choices you either shoot him in a stand off (he also gets to shoot you first if you're slow) or you can fight him properly if you keep talking and keep telling him that you're not giving up Songbird.
Gentlemen and a scholar. Thanks again. I am enjoying the game, just don't give too fricks about the campaign shit. Now I can go around and be a netrunning Black person without worrying about finishing songs gay ass story.
Nah I disagree. It's a nice distraction and contrast to the rest of NC, but imo it should have looked more neotokyo/hongkong. Needed more high rise skyscrapers. Westbrook/Japan Town is pretty much perfect in that regard. Too bad there's very little to do there since most of the content is in Watson.
We know there won't be any expansion after PL but does CDPR has any plan to add more content?
The airport is unlocked but there's nothing to do, there's only a pharmacy...
There won't be new content. This was supposed to be the final thing they did on their engine before fully switching to UE for future projects. If anything you can expect a few bug fixes here and there at best, but that's it. The game is finished now, as is their engine.
I'm more impressed about the new face models they used for Johnny, they're incredibly good (but not as good as Reed's, those are fricking technowizardry)
I restarted with a new character, going to do things a bit different, I'm about 30 hours in theres a lot I like and even more I dont like or hasn't changed.
Meanwhile, Phantom Liberty is:
>Full of content
>No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1
>More weapons, build options and personalization than ever before
>More enemy variety than pretty much every game in the series, makes the previous game look like a prototype in comparison
>Loads of amazing bosses and mini bosses, some secret and plenty in sidequests
>Sidequests have been fixed, it's no longer just doing what some ghost tells you, now most are almost just as good as main story content
>You get to explore every realm, the world feels more alive than ever, no longer does the game feels like roaming a desolated wasteland Shadow of the Colossus style thanks to plenty of NPCs.
>No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1
HAHAHAHA
>broken for 3 years
>30$ patch
thanks for beta testing cybercucks
But patch is free? Only dlc is paid
Honestly, for all the shit CDPR pulled, that DLC should've been free
>unplayable for years
>choices don't matter despite being advertised as an RPG
>skill tree are meaningless, unless you're doing pure damage and crit
>big city, with so much dead space
>half of the total missions are radiant quest, maybe more
>awful VA on V
>character motivation have no rythm or reason
>character arcs barely visible beyond surface level
I finished the game, did all the quests, got all of the achievements within the first two months. I ignored all of the bugs and glitches, and still came out unsatisfied and disappointed
>unplayable for years
worked on my machine (GTX 770)
>worked on my machine (GTX 770)
Now it won't, because they didn't optimize for this DLC. LMAO. I'm getting hard loads on a HDD (>implying a SSD should fricking matter when pre-2.0/DLC the fricking game ran fine on a HDD) in areas due to how they fricked up the streaming "tech" for the engine.
I can not imagine a 770 running this now.
>unplayable for years
>finishes entire game and side quests
moron
even with DLC the game falls short of what they presented as real at E3
this post was written by ai, paid by cdpr marketing team
whats annoying about bethesdas design is it's not building toward anything in a satisfactory way
every gta game rockstar put out was incredible--state of the art at the time, state of the industry even with vice city and 80s tracks and how that shaped the landscape moving forward
even side titles were investigative--bully, state of emergency. dma purchased remedy and you could see the dna of max payne 2 and 3 in games like red dead revolver or gta5.
it's funny how both are considered AAA developers.
The usage of the term realm signals copypasta, and I don't even care for Bethesda anymore.
It's a BG3 copy pasta that he just find+replaced with whatever game
>Phantom Liberty is
>No DLC
What? Phantom Liberty IS DLC.
Nice pasta m8.
At least you could have corrected:
>No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1
>>No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1
>>New Game+ will be added to the game soon enough to have even more fun.
Sasuga moron-chan!!
Never forget
This site is plagued by shills, and bots paid to market games.
Gaming is the most profitable industry now, marketing is HALF the budget of every new product.
Marketing, propaganda, advertisement is VERY important for any company
dont forget, even anti shills are shills because they keep bumping threads that have shill ops
I honestly, do it for fun, i like Starfield, i play it daily.
This post is so artificial that even a dumb ass like me realizes it.
so far i love it
>Here is your forced strong independent women companion backsitting you bla bla blabla bla bla nonstop
What the frick are you talking about?
>first meeting you nearly snap her wrist disarming her
Are you literally afraid of any woman with an attitude?
>Are you literally afraid of any woman with an attitude?
there's a new woman character with attitude? They keep pushing boundaries
>there's a new woman character with attitude? They keep pushing boundaries
Why not a woman character with VALOUR? Calculating people are not b***hy like every fricking character in this game, the only saving grace is Keanu Reeves unable to be a dyke
Dumbass do you think it’s realistic to have multiple manly women taking charge and bossing everyone?
>are you afraid of women
Women are afraid of men and losing attention. These powerful women figures are shoved into these games because fat roastie lesbians threatened to sue otherwise.
It's 1 character.
Those are randomly generated, to take adventage of the new 2.0 systems.
Some of them are bullshit.
Why is the radio volume so fricking low? I can barely hear it even with the sound cranked up.
fricking game is boring some gay dlc wont fix that
Can’t stop playing it and there’s a real sense of progression as I constantly improve my character, although when I finally saw the relic perks none of them excited me all that much.
The Gorilla Arms sonic boom wave and the weak point highlights that cause EMP explosions are really nice
i loved this clown, one of the best written characters in the fricking game and only because he just fricks around the whole time
>in the car he just starts talking about he came from south america
>brazil specifically
>starts saying WHERE that is
>"I KNOW WHERE BRAZIL IS"
>20 body
>20 intelligence
>20 technical ability
>OS that has a 40% bigger quickhack spread and does it instantly
>suicide wipes out entire buildings
>infinite quickhacks due to health recovery and blood pump with 3 charges
lmao
Which quickhacks besides Contagion still spread?
The final Overclock perk gives EVERY quickhack a 50% chance of spreading. The OS that increases radius by 40% makes it a death machine.
So any chaining is random now? How many times does it spread? Does it just hit everyone in a radius if it does spread?
It's a 50%, as they said. It should spread as long as enemies are in the area like Contagion.
Also the monowire (and a few perks, IIRC a Relic perk in the DLC) gives the ability to bounce as well.
well that's not possible because anon posted 15 threads saying netrunning is completely gone from this troony game, and you cannot wipe enemies sitting in a car a mile away
is it worth the price?
Its garbage so no
if i start a new game and skip to the DLC it raises me to the right level, yes?
yes
cool. i booted up my save right before the ending and was overwhelmed by how many perk points i had to reassign and all the changes to my gear.
Post V's or just cool screenshots in general.
I like goth but I also like military aesthetic
Arasaka cyberarms works too which is cool
Best npc. Wish v could look like her
>Call me Snake
I made an edgy cyborg ninja. PL has some great tactical gear.
I normally rock V's default outfit with the samurai jacket but for PL I went all in on the secret agent vibe. I figured this outfit fit in with Dogtown very well.
put your mouth on a carb samurai, we got Black folk to stomp
literally me
Nothing special just started to a new run.
I study the blade
Shit, everywhere I look there are people just lounging about, shooting the shit and having fun like it's a beach party or something.
ever heard of the weimar republic?
Ah yes, the cyberpunk ideal of the Weimar Republic.
No way you are so fricking stupid you didnt underst
ah I cant even finish writing it you probably are frick it
Excessive hedonism is a staple of a dystopian society, you utter twit.
>lounging about, shooting the shit and having fun is excessive hedonism
There are probably exosuits/skeletons, goggles and gloves which will function with smart weapons. Not same universe but Jet Stream Sam is an example.
He can compensate this with shit like this
You basically live the chill npc life and almost no one here can appreciate that
It's because this board is obsessed with cuck shit. So now you're just going to get people spamming every cyberpunk thread with Judy calling you and saying she's married or whatever. It's all so tiresome.
Nobody romanced Judy anyway, because she's a shithead.
I've been e-girlng at people actually pissed at that, how much of a fricking loser are you to where your video game relationship not working out is enough to sour an entire game for you? i don't know about everyone else but i didn't have a single sexual relationship with anyone in this or bauldur's gate 3. these homosexuals need to go back to obsessing about pinkterton
>no cyberware playthrough
>all the money you could ever need in the bank
>possibly the most accomplished person in the entire city, a literal living legend
>oh no you were in a coma for 2 years and can't use the cyberwarez any more everything bad forever oh no
makes no sense to me
The "sadness" comes from his friends.
We usually call that bad writing.
Except V got the best ending. He has money, he is off the grid, he is in his 20s. He can do whatever the frick he wants to do. His "friends" can get fricked. If it were possible, I would kill every single one of them.
Outside of Misty and Vik, you've known all those people for about three weeks. It's natural that they moved on once you started ghosting them.
>Ghosting
None of them even question it.
>He didnt answer me. He must be ghosting me.
Especially Panam, that c**t.
well go and watch suicide ending then, Panam goes off like a proper c**t
Yeah, that's the way it is sometimes. I had a friend for three weeks once, and we were fairly close, then he died. I instantly gave myself over to my enemies, utterly gave up on all my beliefs and blame my dead acquaintance for all my failures forever.
"Vektor" is the worst.
people seem to forget about Morgan Blackhand, man barely has any implants, he is pure skill and only chromes up if a job needs it, then takes it off.
So much this.
yes, exactly
>inb4 it's muh le cyberpunk
many cyberpunk works have good endings, and even when the mc died it still left you hopeful and fulfilled (BR2049 for example)
this one is just nihilistic miserywank for the sake of miserywank
Im glad they didnt give in to the pressure on the other hand
miserywank? sure but at least there is not objective "good" ending, that always annoys me in games
it also stays in line with other endings
How is joining the Avocados and Panam not basically a happy ending?
>Oh no story doesn't end with rainbows and flowers it means it's shit
Why is any of the endings bad, exactly?
The lack of interest they have for their own characters or fanbase is fricking moronic. Like this couldn't have been solved in five minutes by having a single few seconds of your V smiling before disappearing into a crowd at the end.
It kind of does feel like this whole thing is a big ESG humiliation ritual. How much shot can you be forced to eat by these devs while still pretending it's ice cream
The ending turns him into a nobody, absorbed by the city. He fades away.
new updated list with the update now that we know V can survive:
>you an hero
>your friends die for you, you go out in a blaze of glory and die soon anyway
>you frick off with your gf who can probably heal you with ghetto injun techmagic
>you sell your soul and frick off to space to make enough money to buy your cure
>you sell your soul to arasaka
>you give your body to johnny
>you cuck out for the feds and cuck your best friend
new shitty ending made like half the endings good.
>new shitty ending made like half the endings good.
Honestly it made the prospect of a cure that much more feasible and in most of the endings you are with people who can find that cure.
People complaining about the new ending but it's right there in the name, what do you think "phantom liberty" refers to.
brb taking Nintendo to court because it's not the legend of Zelda at all, I play link!
Also I want backdated reparations from Square Enix because their fantasies weren't final

Did the melee rework actually make it feel better or was it a nothingburger
I started a new run it will be a while until i get to the dlc. I played on release and honestly I can't even tell what the changes are because I don't remember anything.
Only thing I can tell is that this car is finally fricking purchasable, which was my favorite car in the game.
The President is cringe
Songbird is cringe
Reed is CRINGE
No sneedback.
the barghest soldiers are complete fricking c**ts for my netrunner/smartgun build to tackle
Vidya quality overall has continued to decrease so hard that this game is now considered a quality experience and a good game by comparison to current releases. Its still junk at its core and nothing will fix basic design flaws
I'm waiting on it for now, at least until a lot of the major mods are updated for 2.0
Cyberpunk 2.0 and PL were shallow but fun. But it's back to another BG3 replay for me. Didn't buy your game btw. Only Larian deserves my money this year. No contest.
My biggest gripe with BG3 is graphics(they look like from some mobile game) and sometimes the writing.
Dropped BG3 on second playthrough through Act 1, game is insanely static despite all screeching otherwise
>life paths still do nothing
>rpg mechanics are bare bones
>still a borderlands looter shooter
>anaother celebrity
Frick them and frick any loser who forgave them. You are the reason we have shit games
I preordered the expansion 😀
whats upsetting about lifepaths is how they were clearly created as a marketing tool and no media has called them out on it
they change nothing about the game but were advertised as a huge feature, which is bizarre.
what would be cool is if ccp added actual gameplay to each lifepath. maybe each dlc came with a fleshed out lifepath. that could be an interesting way to build a game, since games come half finished anyway--finish the main parts of it, then work backword and fill in the gaps.
they function exactly the same as every other RPG with backgrounds.
and that's exactly the problem compared to how they were described
why even give them a name if they 'function exactly the same as every other rpg with backgrounds'?
why state specifically that they would have a major bearing on how each game turned out?
I pre-ordered the game in 2020 and also pre-ordered the dlc
Dog town is a lot smaller than I was anticipating. Just me?
To be fair, they just expanded the missing chunk of lower Pacifica. It was never going to be much larger than other districts.
My issue with Dogtown so far is that it feels less like CP2077 and more like a mix of Fallout + Rage/Mad Max. I'm not really fond of seeing the shanty town aesthetic.
what are the essential mods for a new playthrough?
I'm a sucker for filling in my collection so it's nice to know I'll never fully miss out on anything.
whoa, there's a hidden doom clone minigame in cyberpunk
so this is what they were working on rather than making a decent brnaching story path
>doom clone
Kotaku journos are literally clueless. It's a Wolfenstein 3D clone and not Doom.
Thought they were referencing the dashing, jump dashing and finishers, blatant new Doom.
it also has a Witcher easter egg in it
and an unlockable monster truck
>literally a Wolf3d map layout
>the entire internet: "HIDDEN DOOM CLONE POGGERS"
i'm old and ready to die.
>How do you like it?
It really activates my almonds.
That's what I was thinking about when i first saw it.
Could actually recreate it.
Pic related was comfy
Haven't played the dlc yet but by the looks of it there's a GitS inspired boss fight so I'm definitely curious to see that
It's this fight
yep I gathered as much, seen some footage but didn't look deeply into it wasn't sure if it were a proper boss fight or just some cinematic sequence
There's no risk for the ai to just rush you while you empty tons of mags on their face without them even flinching
meant for you
>Boss fights in the base game were a bit disappointing imo
Basegame bosses now scale to your level, so you can no longer clown on Adam Smasher with a dildo. They hit MUCH harder and are way more resiliant, but the mechanics are mostly the same.
Apparently, Oda is now a murdermachine that will filter you if you tackle the Act 2 finale too early.
It starts as cinematic chase sequence then you fight it inside an abandoned musuem. You have to scan it and shoot its weak points before finishing it off like the Major did in the movie.
the boss itself is great but the preamble with the swarm of barghest jerks is cancer
>want to make a Netrunner stealth guy
>play on Very Hard on a new save
>it's fun because failure doesn't just mean I can gun my way out
>either have to try to stealth out or book it
>but often just die
>get decently high level before phantom liberty
>sure no sweat
>entire first hour is a series of combat encounters
>eventually combat encounters where you just have to shoot and have no other alternatives
>die in one to two hits
>squatting in the crashed plane while my RAM recharges taking potshots
>enemies constantly swarming your position in heavy gear, tanking explosive sniper rounds to the head with ease
It really is like the anime.
man I really wanna try a Sandy playthrough now but I don't know if I can bring myself to play through the game again
it sounds fun
he looks so much better since 2.0
before that he looked like some melted cheese or something
Is there really no relic perks for katana build?
Relic perks only benefit cyberware.
I think the biggest problem is that they hired shitloads of new people who don't know how to work with redengine
Add main people who made witcher gsmes great, left after witcher 3.
Not true. A lot of creative people behind W3 worked on Cyberpunk as well. It's the codemonkeys that kept getting reshuffled.
It deserves so much more and only the fricking Netflix anime actually tried.
>photo mode unavailable
suck my chrome choom
>get your military grade implants removed
>but you're a genius hacker so you still make people explode anyway
Wow that's a huge downside there CDPR
you can't, cyberdecks and full netrunning also strain the nervous system
I’m waiting for Christmas sale since they put the game on a wise sale than before
Is the game supposed to be dark as shit? I couldnt see a thing during that intro mission where you get the bot.
not particularly
but if you are using gaytracing it can be an issue yes since they game was made with old technology in mind
I might be crazy but the game feels darker after the 2.0 patch came out
do you have to start a new game or does everything just get implemented into your save file?
You can pretty much start PL right off the bat from the main menu, but it's suggested you start a new game from a fresh save, because the changes to most mechanics in 2.0 are significant.
I think V is neat
CDPR missed out on a lot of money but it is understandable they would get frustrated fixing the gigantic game it is
it's crazy that braindead enemies are industry standard
every major game feels like one of those 'rampage around the city with powers' that were popular during the ps3 era
Yeah, basically every game now feels like the worst parts of crackdown, but are trying to play it straight-faced as a serious piece of art.
yeah, this is my issue exactly
It's crazy there is no goal to at least simulate good ai. You dont need ai to be all knowing, it just needs to make you think it's figuring you out.
I'm hoping there is a movement in modding to make a grounded version of some of these games for people who grew up with games and expect more than point and click simulators.
>it just needs to make you think it's figuring you out.
The game fakes this. Whenever you activate sandevistan you have maybe a 30% chance that a mook that has it will activate theirs in response to fight you at the speed you're going.
Not everything can be Red Dead Redemption 2.
You have to admit tho the gunplay in cp is pretty godly now
Some of the best in a AAA game
The gunplay is awful wtf crack are you smoking
Agreed. Cyberpunk should be listed next to "missed potential."
They hyped the frick out of it and while it's "serviceable" there is noticeable shit that even GTA has that it doesn't.
Maybe if they went all-in on their GTAO clone, it would've met it, but I kind of doubt it.
Its crap,like original game
Should I make a new character or just load up my endgame max level V?
Haven't played the game since launch
Make a new character.
alright
hope the start of the game won't be as bad as I remember with all those bullet sponge enemies since I start with shitty guns and the playable are being small until I do the heist
then again by the mid game I could craft op as frick guns and armor mods for my clothes that made me unkillable so i guess it's for the best
>dps stat
absolutely souless
really happy with all the stat and equipment changes they made in 2.0
Enemies now scale to your level.
[Insert mutt's law here]
*rawr*
So for a netrunner build, I suppose body is your secondary stat? Because with Overclock, your hp becomes another set of RAMs.
It's ok. I'm not a huge fan of the ESG approved main cast though.
So what are the new radio station?
Growl FM, the Idris Elba one (Impulse?) and some other one. Idris Elba one is fun if you like house/hip hip, Growl FM is hit or miss, because fan content. But Sasha Grey is great as a complete schizo host.
Is Sasha Grey in the game Ganker kinda of schizo or not because of its that will be Frickin' epic she will be our pornstar girl.
It's almost as if CDPR devs are Polish or something.
>SFX 10%
>Radio 100%
I drive
>orange face
>self made (was given money by parents)
Is this trump or elon
Pretty fun causing trouble. It happened again while I was just checking how the game looks on lowest settings instead of heading to the crash site immediately. I hope I can redeem myself somehow.
why does this run so poorly on my 4070 ti
Not sure if anyone else has encountered it, but my DLSS says it's off in the settings despite being on. And I know it's on because I've fricked with that setting a bunch and will randomly go from 60 fps to 21 fps.
How? Do you have the path tracing on?
My game runs buttery smooth on my RTX 3090, with everything cranked up to max, with only the path tracing off, because that eats up resources like crazy.
Turn on dlss auto? Runs good on my 4080 maxed out in 4k
wasn't expecting Alien Isolation in the last stretch of the dlc.
it's good to see you again V
haven't brought it it.
started over for 2.0 and enjoying it more than ever. even though I already played ~110 hours since launch.
so i'll get there, just no real reason to rush.
can I get a decent silenced sniper rifle without having to talk with that stupid mutt c**t yet?
Decent so far.
One thing that bugged me is that V's voice actor, at least for dudes, seems to have gotten rusty.
I like the change for femv. Femv started acting like a tough girl wannabe. In phantom libterty, femv just sounds tired and more laid back.
>still no way to play a non-lethal playthrough
the game was always garbage and CDPR is a joke of a company who made ONE (1) good game
Netrunner quickhacks by nature are nonlethal anon.
sweet. What about that long section with Takemura, where you're forced to kill numerous people in the car chase?
why the frick do you even want to play non-lethal in a setting like this anyway? It's literally against the core theme of the game, moron
Why are you upset that someone does want to?
Unless it's Suicide.
>every quickhack
>weapon mods that make guns non-lethal
play the game moron
Non-lethal is a moronic meme and in most video games is functionally identical to lethal except with blue bullets instead of red. In the end, they're both nameless bodies lying on the floor while the player gathers loot before triggering the next cut scene.
So will cdpr add any new content after phantom liberty?
Most likely no. Maybe some small gig or a weapon here and there, but don't expect Cyberpunk 3.0. It will be mostly bugfixes.
They are all moving to Cyberpunk 2.
No. Anyone who worked on Phantom Liberty is going to be moved onto Project Orion. There is likely a very small team left behind to address any bugs or major issues for the next little while before being moved as well.
Hopefully the frickers will add NG+
Is carnage the most fun weapon to use?
What build is the most fun to play?
20 body/20 reflexes/20 tech Katana, zip around at lightning speed doing aerial acrobatics and shit beheading EVERYTHING while V cackles in cyberpsychotic glee
Also sandevistan so you kill everyone before they even notice you
Yeah, that's the 20 tech part. Apogee sandevistan+axlotl = endless ZA WARUDO. Add on the thermal projectile launch system and Errata thermal katana that always crits on burning enemies and you're a whirlwind of death
>can I play non-lethal
>UHHH OF COURSE YOU CAN moron
>are you sure, because these scripted events force you to kill due to bad game design
>UHHH WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY NON-LETHAL ANYWAY HURRR STUPID
every time.
>wahhh I can't do this highly-specific gameplay run that I want to do for no reason other than autism!
who cares? You already bought the game.
at what part of the game does the DLC takes place?
Haven't played the game in ages but I just can't but to think that huge side quest in middle of the story working as spy for US government (at least thats what I have heard the story to be about) feels somewhat out of place.
After the Voodoo Boys arc.
In reality it's a missing Act 3 main quest.
>max int / tech / cool
>just spam cripple movement and cyberware malfunction
>shoot 6 times in the head with my magnum
cool
you guys think every asian girl is 10/10
So is anyone else getting the bare minimum intelligence checks dialogue options? Had multiple that were the base 3 levels.
Like, how would a 3/10 intelligence tard know what ICE hack is.
I meant 3/20*
So for heavy weapons/shotgun build it's 20 body/20 tech/20 reflexes?
Body is fun. Mixed with Tech, it's fantastic. Explosions fricking everywhere. Corpses being ripped apart. Throwing c**ts.
I don't use guns of any kind. Just jump down into the middle of a horde of enemies, body slam them, watch them being torn apart, then pick up the body pieces and throw them at other people. Who then EXPLODE into gore which gives me more corpses to throw at c**ts.
I tried playing anything else but it's just not fun. I don't know how you homosexuals play anything else.
Savage sling is hilarious. You can pick up goons and throw them into cars so hard both them and the car explode.
Also I want to breed this woman.
I thought we didn’t like tattoos here, bros?
I still don't, for the most part, but she's so fricking hot I don't give a shit.
>enemy takes cover behind a car
>finally have enough RAM to do what I've been waiting hours to try
>self destruct the car
>uses like 21 of my RAM
>only does about 75% of his hp
Well that was underwhelming
Hacking is overpowered, but a lot of it is trash when you can just spam DoT's on everything and spread them to everyone and keep chaining them while a mile away from your car seat.
Yeah for the same RAM, I can just spam overload 3 or 4 times and it do 5x the amount of damage.
I've found more often than not I can just contagion into an overload and it'll kill basically anything that isn't a boss
>overload
i think i mean overheat. whatever the fire DoT one is. either I use that or the electric shock thing that zaps them.
Theres a perk where if the target has a quickhack uploaded into him he suffers more damage from explosions caused by another quickhack.
That's what overclock is for and seems to be a vital part of any netrunner build. This way you can spam shit like short circuits 5 times. You can also use health items so you can use more quick hacks. Really drives home the image of a netrunner literally frying him/herself and bleeding from the nose to perform more hacks.
Anona how far should I play into the DLC if I just want to unlock the relic skill tree, the go screw around with side content?
It's a ghost city with automaton NPCs walking around and all meaningful dialogue options exhausted.
There are some semi rare events where you see two gangs fighting it out on car chases and you can join in I guess. Also, afaik some gangs respawn.
Is that all the relic tree is? It's fricking pathetically small.....
Is the game supposed to still have the same bugs it had on launch?
>Supposed to
No.
Yet it still does.
Even better it has extra ones that cause it to shit itself on amd builds after the patch.
How bad? I have an amd cpu
Literally what are you even talking about anon?
He's a shill, who hangs around these threads overblowing people's criticisms to make them sound ridiculous.
like here:
wrong, games should end btw, there is nothing wrong with an experience having an intended ending, every single game doesn't need to be an endless chinese skinnerbox you adhd riddled zoomer.
>no you can't go back and re-read a chapter of a book if you like it, you have to read it all through to the end right away you zooomerrrrr!
Wouldn't take more than a few hours if they cared.
>what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it.
No, nobody is expecting constant NEW content. Just a way to interact and engage with the existing content in the same way as before. Like...re-reading a chapter of a book.
re-reading a chapter of a book closer to restarting the game after finishing it. what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it.
start a new game or reload a save.
>what you are asking for is for a book to continuously print new pages after you've finished reading it
Not at all. If you really want to use this analogy it would be something like this
>read a book
>go chapter by chapter
>finally get to the end
>want to go back and re-read a chapter
>the pages are literally blank
>you are no longer allowed to re-read a chapter without starting entirely over from the start of the book
so a game dynamically creating new events for you to interact with is the same as reloading a save and doing the same event over again?
This is absolutely abysmal to think about, terrible choices.
>read pages of a book
>the words disapear as you read them
BRAVO CDPR moronic c**tS
Shill is a bit of an oversimplification.
because starfield showed us how not to do it
What a great idea to let this huge city left empty after doing all the content, that would make no sense to put some kind of system here actual marked events take place, like I dont know, you get calls froms the NCPD that notice you that there is some shit happening near you and that you can take care of it.
No its better to left this huge city empty, thats a great idea.
Where the hell do you find decent clothes in this game without mods? I'm still wearing my starter outfit...
WHAT THE FRICK!!!!
they abandoned the main game completely
>"endless missions/events" looting chests stuff, are just in Dog Town
Really? so much for that.
It feels like a real betrayal, I just cant understand...
you know what they say, it's a doggy dog town
This fricking "start a new characters" is making me mad, this is so fricking moronic, I would if there were some kind of fricking new game plus, but there is not fricking NG+
NG+ with only secondary missions would be good, but not, there is nothing...
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/1263
This is kind of the best option available right now unfortunately.
Thanks, bro, this is at least something, compared to nothing delivered by CDprojekt homosexuals.
the mod won't work though. CDPR deliberately broke mods from before 2.0
why is cdpr so evil. this is almost as bad as when fromsoftware blocked access to online in elden rings when people simply unlocked their 60 fps limiter with a mod
Because then morons like you would be crying about all the bugs the broken mods create and blame them.
>turn on sleeves mod
>blast guard renders
>the expansion suddenly takes a turn from Deus Ex into System Shock.
t-thanks, I guess.
Also, Phantom Liberty is a spy thriller with a
twist since Songbird ventured beyond the Black Wall and attracted a rogue AI and got her some cyber aids
>THAT NEW GIG WITH SOME COOMER DOES TOO MUCH BRAINDANCE AND HE THINKS HE IS THE STREAMER HE COOMS TO AND HIS FRIEND WANTS TO CAPITALIZE ON THIS
well done pollacks, that was funny and uncanny
Why the frick is there still no night vision or a flashlight?
This, drives me mad.
Modders even fixed it, all they had to do was copy paste.
It seems to better to just either spam contagion or short circuit instead.
so does the DLC skip the original intro and drop you into the new quest and leveled up?
None of these woman characters have any character
>turn on path tracing
>it looks the same
It's weird how Ray Reconstruction looks good in some areas but absolutely flounders in others when compared to the old denoiser.
Holy shit, that's what the ghosting is from? That shits super noticable and distracting when driving, will have to turn it off when I play tonight
the truth is, its not that simple. in some places it has no ghosting and in others it has a lot of it
Ricochet is such a shit mechaninc. I shouldn't be encouraged to shoot at the floor.
Who agrees that Songbird is sexy and they made Misty even hotter?
Why can't I have arm mods and grenades equipped at the same time? G is not even bound to anything
What the frick happened to Mr Hands?
Before he seemed like a sleazy used car salesman. Now they've gone and turned him into something more liek Alber fricking Wesker.
Is this a spoiler related thing or could they just not get the va back?
I miss that guy. Seemed cool.
>be mr hands
>be a faceless, hidden identity of a fixer
>handles exclusively the Black personzone and the voodoo boys
>due to bugs his face has been revealed a few times albeit not canon
>show up in this obscure part of the map at the end of the mayor thing
>hes watching you from a balcony which you can jump to because games busted
>nothing happens, he just disappears
that's not Mr Hands you dumb frick
dont care the game is broken enough to say it is
>game is broken enough to say it is
the game literally calls him Mr Blue Eyes
and if you read the description of both of them you can definitely call em out
>mr hands was originally high ranking corpo and due to bullshit had to bail to save his own ass
>now nobody knows his location, what he looks like, or anything about him aside from his hands
>mr blue eyes is literally unknown to the entire fricking city even the people who are good at their job at finding who people are
>given what we're told hes high ranking in some space corpo bullshit and likes to frick with politicians
>only detail we know is he has blue eyes and post-game gives V the big heist in space
theyre very similar in their existence. both obscenely mysterious, one without a face to match, and if you want to speculate, its likely because hed be identifiable with his bright blue eyes, hence the obscuring of the face for mr hands
id rather double down on being moronic because prior to posting at all i saw the problem but decided i put too much effort in and rolled with it anyway
>How do you like it?
first suck my wiener THEN ask again.
Do any of the original characters, besides Johnny, come up or have any impact on the Phantom Liberty content? Am I going to miss out on anything because I didn't meet Kerry yet or finish Panam's quests?
You have to finish West and kojima's quest to fully understand phantom liberty
(If you were observant Enough to find the Kojima cameo that is)
Playing the vanilla story. Is it weird to say Cyberpunk reminds me of the Yakuza games? Kinda static map, a lot of running/driving between missions, lots of back and forth between characters, eccentric action in-between it all.
It's basically GTA IV but with a bigger map and cutscenes have way better productions.
AM I FRICKING moronic OR DO VENDORS NOT SELL PISTOL/SMG AMMO
LITERALLY NO VENDOR IS SELLING THAT SHIT AND I DONT KNOW WHY
IS IT A BUG OR IS IT JUST SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE EARLY GAME
Just craft it moron
I DONT KNOW HOW
In the craft menu.
Alternatively just find ammo crates lying around. Go kill a band of thugs and they got ammo crates nearby l.
dialog and story is pretty bad so far. still in the beginning
Is it just me or is the game even buggier than ever since 2.0?
>more Black folks
>more troony propaganda
lmao no
this is yet another "forcing behaviors" shit
i'm not a goysloper like you all to fall for this
Poorgay here. They bricked my game which used to run fine on my PC, with this 2.0 nonsense. I can't afford the $400 PC upgrade right now. Feeling really salty about not even being able to play my normal modded Cyberpunk anymore. CDPR really hates the poorgays. RIP.
when will we be able to make our characters look like this without having to install 72 mods bros
we will be able to, and many more
in the sequel
I've spent a little too much time obsessing over why the pirated copy doesn't work. My mistake was believing that there is no DRM and the problem is with my PC or something. It's solvable, but dang, that was a blind spot.
What are the issues? and how to solve them?
Growl FM is filled with troony groomer breakcore. Not surprising considering the fanbase of troonypunk 2041
>troony groomer breakcore
I guess it takes one to know one.
Because I have no idea what you just said.
What's that? A kind of rap music, because rap is super low effort?
I was kind of excited to play the game again but I got an avalanche of bugs in the fricking prologue including everyone T posing and walking around, invisible NPCs and weird crashes. I don't know how but its somehow worse than when I played it at release and I've upgraded my system since then too.
You have a 12-13th gen i9 perchance?
I don't
achievements didn't unlock for me. Thanks CDPR!
>''achievements''
Dumb zoomers. Why do you care for this pointless shit?
>achievements are zoomer now
Ganker is a fricking sewer.
If zoomers start being born in late 90s, cheevos would be their childhood?
>How do you like it?
I just started. Ask me again tomorrow.
Are the characters pleasing to look at?
>vehicle overhaul
>increased density
>whizz around at top speed in first person
>free adrenaline simulator
I'm honestly having more fun with this than anything
I still haven't finished a playthrough at 44 hours total, but I think 2.0 is good enough that I will
>still can't pop a wheelie
that is really fricking disappointing
I really want someone to make either a rollerblade or even soap shoe or heelys mod, it's weirdly fun to kind of "glide" down rails in this game
This looks like shit anon why is it lurching all over the place
idk man ask the mod creator or the devs
I just go fast
FemV is Transgender[spoiler] and you all know this to be true
No, I don;t know this, because I'm not obsessed with troons 24/7 like you are.
lmao the cope and seethe
sex is fluid and can be changed at a dime
want a wiener hace a wiener want a vegana have a vegana
sex is yours and be proud and be happy
That shopping area was impressive. Imagine hating late capitalism like Silverhand after being there.
I bought it on steam and that moronic red launcher doesn't work at all. I just bypass it now. Why does it freeze?
i like it so far and the game runs well on my setup but i have to restart the game if i fast travel to often or switch from map to ingame too often. feels like theres some memory leak there somewhere in the map screen.
Is there any difference in the difficulty except that enemies get more health and do more damage? If no, I leave it on normal.
you should play on hard at the minimum because normal is very easy
Do you want everything to die in 2 shots?
Very hard is just how it should be.
Its the same damn game
Ending is shit, of course they somehow have side missions with better writing than the main story.
>We get a mention of the Blackwall
>We don't go back
>Still no Fridging Netruns
It sucks. You're still just a solo.
Long story short
Songbird/So Mi is infected by Rogue AI aids since she breached the Black Wall.
I'm debating whether I want to pick this up on PS5 or my ROG Ally.
Dogtown is what Night City should have looked from the start
Nah I disagree. It's a nice distraction and contrast to the rest of NC, but imo it should have looked more neotokyo/hongkong. Needed more high rise skyscrapers. Westbrook/Japan Town is pretty much perfect in that regard. Too bad there's very little to do there since most of the content is in Watson.
>this is the new leader of the Animals
Holy frick she's hot. Also
does the Black person boxer die in every other outcome?
We know there won't be any expansion after PL but does CDPR has any plan to add more content?
The airport is unlocked but there's nothing to do, there's only a pharmacy...
There won't be new content. This was supposed to be the final thing they did on their engine before fully switching to UE for future projects. If anything you can expect a few bug fixes here and there at best, but that's it. The game is finished now, as is their engine.
>third person mod only updated for 2.0
Gay
>zoomer has to be taught how to use a phone
I can't believe PL actually made Johnny more likeable and less of a c**t. He should have been more like this in the base game.
he just really really hates Arasaka
I'm more impressed about the new face models they used for Johnny, they're incredibly good (but not as good as Reed's, those are fricking technowizardry)
Could you beat full ganic V?
Why doesn't gog-games have Phantom Library?
I restarted with a new character, going to do things a bit different, I'm about 30 hours in theres a lot I like and even more I dont like or hasn't changed.
