No, Cyberpunk is shit. It sold because perpaid homosexuals can't get refunds, failed to deliver on most promises, had celebrities lying their ass off about it that later admitted never playing or even seeing the game, and we all tried it out, it had like 10 hours of gameplay where everything was linear and no class choices significantly changed anything. Enemies are dumber than in 2001's Halo. They don't work together to do anything, it's easy as frick, they just stand there and you can go super fast and kill everyone. It's just garbage.
They released a small DLC, and that is also hot garbage. You need a 4080 or you can't even turn on ray tracing without dropping into 10 FPS territory. It's optimized poorly and they will never fix most of it's problems, of which it has many. It's an empty world where NPC's walk small loops and even on one loop 10 of them look the same.
You people are only defending it as a coping mechanism. When someone spends a lot and gets ripped off, they often justify it and defend paying more. That's you guys. What they pulled is totally unacceptable and if you could return it like a normal product most of you would have.

How come Guild Wars 2 doesn't win anything? Massive expansions, huge fixes. Nonstop new skins. The new free content alone in that is more than whole games that did get nominated. Seriously it's huge and they constantly add more. Really not even sure how Red Dead Redemption got it, I thought it was abandoned and they hit the end of major online support back in 22? I just do not understand the logic of that award when Guild Wars 2 and Warframe exist on Steam. To be fair, I don't know what other MMO's are doing but I expect FF and TES online to also have lots of content. But GW2 had a major expansion with tons of related new skins titles and whole new dungeons, Raids, missions, and maps all themed together added to the game this year. It was a game that was made by a company that stopped giving a shit, run by executives who faked their way through development and tried to cover it up by tasking their studio to create a fake gameplay demo video and then scrambling in just over a year to work backwards in order to cobble together any half-working code they could in order to make the game look like that demo video with no care for how it played or ran, and then they just released that and called it a finished game. And then when it was panned to absolute shit by players, they only went back and "fixed" it because they were forced to in order to salvage any sort of reputation they might have left.
Cyberpunk was a complete labor of incompetence and greed. And also, it might actually be a "labor of love" if they even fricking made it good, but they didn't, because even the "fixed" version is still shit.
It will never cease to amaze me how Edgerunners convinced people that Cyberpunk 2077 was a good game.
