Yeah, I was a little disappointed at the lack of [Dwarf] options after Act 1. It was pretty good for that in the Duergar areas.

I think this is just hype, but time will tell. Other developers complaining about standards being raised peaked my interest. If mainstream devs are worried about their own projects failing due to those new (*old) standards being set then this very well might be a real phenomenon, a good game. I've played through most of act 1. Can't say I'm enjoying myself but that's a personal thing. Objectively speaking it has been a fairly solid game so far. I probably won't finish it, because again... do not like it. But I can step outside my comfort zone and acknowledge good things when i need to. Making devs at Dice, BioWare, 343, or Naughty Dog worried is very good thing, I believe these developers are very lazy and a good spanking was needed.

To be fair, most of the bugs are not directly visible/only minor in nature. The most severe bugs I've had has been content blockers but even then thanks to just how reactive the game is it just makes it look like a dev oversight/intended rather than gamebreaking. One example is Mintharas questline breaking if you don't do the Druid grove invasion event with her but since 99% of players have yet to play the game in a way where they skip over said event and still try to go for Minthara as a companion they won't ever notice that.
There is also a LOT of "cut" content but even so it seems like most of it isn't actually cut content since it still exists 100% done in the game files, it just seems to have some glitch/bug that makes it unable to start/progress which makes it look cut to any dataminer but in reality it just isn't working as intended right now. This is also a thing that is completely invisible to 90% of players

Playing 4 custom characters with mods and the shar cleric reactivity is everywhere, even in act 2. (cleric i immune to shadowcurse) and the paladin deity mod don't give you cleric dialogue options, but actual paladin options for deity. Clearly wotc cancelled this last minute. Why else would swen implement this and then take a fully implemented feature out of the game?
