The name is still kinda weird. Yeah rain played a huge theme, and "code" could be a substitute for "mystery", but it comes off as Engrish. Sounds better than "Rain Mystery" or "Rain Secret" to be fair. Its also interesting that they never translated Danganronpa's title into English, which would pretty much be "Winning Argument." Danganronpa just sounds better. Ace Attorney is another nice name when the japanese title translates into "Turnabout Trial."

According to the concept art for the games, they came up with a particular design idea for the characters, drew up come art, picked the one that worked the most, and then made the personality and talent. For example, Makoto was labeled as Hero, Sayaka was labeled as Heroine, and Leon was labeled as Punk. There were exceptions to that, and the talent was picked out first, like how Nekomaru was labeled as Manager, but they tend to go for an archetype over a talent.

But since the discussion in those threads cross over into with DR, I just now merge the discussion in these threads.
Theres also a new wave of shipments getting sent out now so there will probably be a handful of new people who want to discuss the game for the first time over the next few weeks as well. I have two irl friends who have been looking everywhere for a copy and still haven't been able to find one.

You could also say that the clouds blocking sunlight could also be used to protect their skin, but this might be irrevelant since sunblock can counter the suns effect on homunculi.

DR was fine on its own, RC is fine on its own. I sincerely doubt RC was planned when he was writing the first DR game, so any combination of the two is likely to be somewhat inconsistent.

It was lame in Kaede's case because she was outright unfairly cheated by the system and she just gave up and played along with the charade. I mean come on, how can she just assume that the guy who was on high alert would not hear a loud as frick bowling ball rolling along through some vent and just get hit by it like an idiot?
She just blindly accepted it the moment she "noticed" without a single shred of doubt. Though I guess it's a good thing she wasn't the detective for long. She's by far the most incompetent player character of the series. Even Komaru is more witty in comparison. All Kaede was good for was as Shuichi's baby-making factory and she couldn't even do that.
