Unlike other types, dark type can't be defined. It relies on an abstract concept of "evil" and even then, contradicts itself with pokemon like Absol and Darkrai, who are just misunderstood. And worse the one defining them are humans and not the pokemon themselves. So unlike water, grass or even fairy and psychic which all have a set of rules defined by pokemon themselves, dark relies on human judgement. So where exactly does dark type even come from? It should be removed and its pokemon added into other types.

Dark type means they use underhanded tactics. For example, killing a stranger at a crossroads to test the sharpness of your new sword.
Still arbitrary things defined by humans as "bad" and a pokemon "power".
But it's not arbitrary. Night Slash is always a Dark-type move no matter how you personally feel about unprovoked homicide.

Water Pulse is water type because of water, I can define what water is, I can even show you, it also is completely depended on the pokemon itself and not me. Same with Psychic, I can define what Psychic energy is, and the pokemon themself exhibit it. But this isn't case for "evil" type, it is dependent upon me to define it and not on the pokemon.
Dark type is dirty or underhanded. Your autism is simply preventing you from understanding this.
If you want to complain about vague and undefined types, try Dragon. Not all Dragon-type pokemon are dragons, and not all dragon pokemon are Dragon-type.

Again, this concept of evil is defined by a third party and not the pokemon, like water or grass. As for dark, I would no problem if dark type was just darkness, but in the original japanese it is actually evil/mean type.

Tsujigiri means "street murder" and refers to slashing some random unsuspecting dude on the street, not slashing someone at night. The "Night Slash" localization is pretty iffy, though it presumably refers to the fact that the murder of random passersbys was typically something that happened at night.

This is why Mabosstiff is one of the absolute best dark types, the design actually incorporates deception into it. At first glance it's a big old dog with tired eyes, but when it's in battle you see that it has this massive monstrous mouth amd the eyes are actually beady little brown eyes.

This is of course because the whole point of Dark was from day 1 to be mons that fricked over Psychics, everything for the type else is secondary and a afterthought so the definittion is of "Dark-Type" is "Something that fricks over Psychics/Mindreaders by having thoughts and mindsets they cannot handle."
