So far, I've only found one. Some dude was trying to clown on him and got wrecked in two seconds. The rest of the fight was the guy running away like a b***h, while slowly chipping away Smasher's health.
Smasher now scales to your level, tries to bumrush you in melee and learned how to counter your Sandevistan with his Sandevistan. And he hits like a truck, which is nice.

That's actually the standard enemy behaviour in 2.0. They won't just stand around now, they will fire those sandys when then see you use yours.

V is the main character, David was a prequel character not showing up in the main story. Smasher also apparently swapped out his body for one made of sponge cake since you can beat this bulletproof military frame to chunks with soft silicon.
David damaged Smasher's body during their fight so it had to go on repairs. Smasher's body in the game is weaker because it's the only thing he can use for now and he was banking on his name alone to keep away threats.

The only hope is that Orion will maybe take some notes from the success of Edgerunners when writing its story. We had a game about a Solo so maybe it's time to do a story about a Crew.
If you go back and reply 2077 the first dozen hours are about having a crew. A lot of people speed ran the story missions for some reason but if you paced them with some side gigs you had a crew for a while.
You had the bald black lady netrunner (bug or something), Jackie the jacked up gun slinger and you. And you have to convince deshawn your crew is good enough.

If you take you time to actually enjoy the world, you wouldn't have sped through it. But ignoring that you still have Tbug calling you about stuff and getting you to pick up cyberware. You and Jackie do a few missions together leading up to the Heist with tbug on comms and the entire hiest IS one big crew operation the entire time.
My point is that the game did have that aspect and could focus on it more, but it did focus on V as a solo. That is all. What it has crew wise is pretty good. T bug is even the tutorial giver.

For me one of the peaks was the last sidequest with Kerry where they go out on the boat. Kino ending for his character.
I did a big playthrough and never even came across some characters like Kerry or the pop stars. But river wards quest transcended the game beyond all those early negative reviews. Cow psycho police work leading into a kino bbq and ends looking at the city from the tower, having a new best friend.
Yeah, its stupid, they make you wait some ingame time before you can even get the continuation of those side missions.

It makes sense. About 70% of the side quests in 2077 go about explaining and portraying it.
Basically the implants you have have a chance of being denied by your body, it doesn't accept them. This causes you to have a constant itch, or surges of pain in the area. If you get eye implants, you could find them glitching out and losing vision or even seeing incorrect imagery like hallucinations.
It's a myth that only chrome addicts can go cyberpsycho. In one side quest a woman gets eye implants as her first augment, and within weeks has severe issues with them. Eventually they are constantly agitated and angry because their eyes keep hurting and tricking them.
Their sister tries to get the company to pay for replacements but they refuse, eventually the woman went insane and killed her sister.
It's an illusion that cyberpsychosis is some extreme delusion thing. That happens when your cyberware is so entrenched and powerful it can augment your reality. If you have glitching out systems like brain and eyes, and fists. You may well lose it and go berserk eventually.
It goes part and parcel with chrome addicts who push their bodies past the point it can handle.

Cyber psychosis makes no sense.
It's like what happens when you have a missing arm or dick. It's supposed to be there but have been replaced by something else and you go insane even have a nice day. Now imagine your entire fricking spine getting replaced. The more you replace your natural body the more your mind goes insane hence cyberpsychosis.

If you get eye implants, you could find them glitching out and losing vision or even seeing incorrect imagery like hallucinations.
It's a myth that only chrome addicts can go cyberpsycho. In one side quest a woman gets eye implants as her first augment, and within weeks has severe issues with them. Eventually they are constantly agitated and angry because their eyes keep hurting and tricking them.
Their sister tries to get the company to pay for replacements but they refuse, eventually the woman went insane and killed her sister.
It's an illusion that cyberpsychosis is some extreme delusion thing. That happens when your cyberware is so entrenched and powerful it can augment your reality. If you have glitching out systems like brain and eyes, and fists. You may well lose it and go berserk eventually.
It goes part and parcel with chrome addicts who push their bodies past the point it can handle.
