The farmed F2P Ginyuchads will carry you through 90% of content, and then once you use your plethora of free stones to summon their gacha versions you can do 100%.
You can't clear battlefield with the ginyu team, and you need battlefield memory to complete the ultimate hinyu team

This unit is underrated as frick. He's great in red zone.

He tanked great for me in LVE, but he stacks far too slowly and needs dupes to do decent damage. I could see him being good for some stages, but definitely not Omega or Broly.
Not that anon, but my 1 dupe Broly was taking double digits from Broly's normals in the last phase. Obviously that's not enough to survive a super, but he's still one of the better units to bring along.
Lots of units can tank normals in everything. The fact is Red Zone Broly really does invalidate all but the most broken units offensively and/or defensively.
Do yourself a favor and look through the menu settings.
He's good against Broly though. He's on the LR Gods' leader skill and gets 36% damage reduction for free. If you build him all additional it's not uncommon to see him triple super and the fight is long enough for him to stack and get his active skill.
Broly is 10 turns if that. He'll be fine in the first 2 phases, but he's definitely taking a few hundred thousand from any supers after that with 300k or below def even with the DR on top of that.

They're essential damage dealers, but you need to transform them as soon as the str phase starts. In the last phase, a rainbow SS4 Gogeta can tank Omega's super for below 70k with a whis.

Holy frick, Red Zone is the definition of "Artificial Difficulty". There is 0 skill involved in this fricking mode. Not even the GoD event was this cheap when it dropped. At least you can nuke/evade every GoD and was handed a free win if you had MUI & SSBE. Even with the new units you still get fricked over in Red Zone. You just pray every turn that the enemy doesn't one shot you or does an SA on the one unit that's capable of "tanking" it. The entire mode is pure RNG, there are no viable workarounds. What the frick were they thinking???

17&18 are sealed this turn but still healed and have good defense. Use both their and Cell's Active and next turn I'll finally be vulnerable with a coin toss of whether or not 16 guards. LR Androids should also be able to swap to 16 for extra defense.

Godku is 1 unit, so you're fricked if he happens to be off rotation and you take a super. Omega isn't as tanky on the other hand and being able to use a Whis and take a hit means a lot. Even Omega's str phase is okay since you can just fuse the SS4s and probably counter a potential super on top of adding a little DR.
Super 17 has a devastating super, but isn't anything to worry about otherwise as long as you know how to team build.

So i'm trying out my new LR Phy Janemba while farming some medals, he's linked up with Teq Janemba, attacks with a 3.5 million atk stat and causes barely 600k damage. The frick is happening? That's what normal attacks do nowadays. Links at lvl 1 and not build up and all, sure, but even then he should be doing 3 million and more on old ass Dokkan events.

He relies on being in slot 2 to build his passive up and then he's a monster. Doesn't do the best damage ever, but guaranteed block and ~400k defense in slot1/2 is fricking fantastic
LL10 and fully built up he can hit 7m+ which is very good for a unit that has guard and can negate any super in the game

What's the best way to farm training items? I ran out
you can get them naturally while farming for other stuff, else just farm f2p card and sell them to baba so you can buy training items.
Any tips what to farm which has the biggest concentration of farming items? I am starting out and I am building my LR grids to tackle different kinds of content and I already have no AQL and INT training mats. When I am grinding for ascension medals I don't see them dropping much. Baba helps but sadly she has them rarely for me. You mean the trading pts. section right?
Farm the F2P LR event that's out right now. Easy content with decent drops of Sword training items. You can also farm the cards and trade them in.
thats because you jsut started, after you get a decent team and ahve been p´laying for a while training items just accumulate, what will give you problems later is training locations.
Also remember to use all those n, r and sr characters as canon fodder. some training locations give xp per training item and UNIT used, so you can use like 50 n saibamen and save on items

Agl broly, you can get to 100 in most of them pretty in auto though
Fusions Edition 1 and 2, DBFZ, Heroines, Kid Buu (INT), Broly (AGL), Perfect Cell (STR Gohans EZA) are by far the easiest where you can just set a decent team and put it on auto till 100+.
The few permanent Destined Rivals EZBs seem pretty easy too.
I don’t feel like im missing much when it comes to LR except for future gohan and boujack, i don’t think i would run the rest of them too often, i wish boujack would stop avoiding me he’ll get an eza any second now

There's a new stage that you can only enter with keys that you get out of paid money packs (can't use stones or any currency to get them).
The stage will increase your link levels by 1 across the board for all 6 team members.
So rather than grinding for 2 weeks of RNG to get a team of 6 from all 9s to all 10s you can do it all in a single attempt of a single stage.

I tried with my last attempt, i took a bad super from phase 2 i couldnt recover from, and couldnt transform super gogeta, but still managed to get phase 4 broly down to just one bar. Ill try again with tonights attempts but im very confident in the team. I was below 100k hp for 3/4 of the fight.

After having finished all the new legendary missions, I'm mixed on what's harder between otherworld warriors and GT Bosses.
I think without Omega EZA, GT Bosses would easily be the worst, but I haven't tried Otherworld Warriors with the PHY Gogeta EZA to see if it's easier or not.

Specifically, leading with LR S17 means you also get to bring AGL S17 who will be a huge help earlier on to let your Omega (singular since no friend) get to his big numbers safely.

Tien and Roshi still can see actual use, and the LR Roshi is a cool tech choice on a lot of teams. Only real whiff was Krillin and 18. and thats because the 18 doesn't trigger AGL Krillin's passive.
Meanwhile you will never use any of the 7th anni units outside of events that require you to use free units like EZAreas and Prime Battles.
The issue is more that the number of units in the game, particularly for the f2p units' categories being extremely bloated this time compared to last year. The actual units themselves are decent and this year's TURs are absolutely better than last's.
This is a fair point. In a vacuum the new units are better, but their teams need absolutely no help whereas something like Tien+Roshi was the best link partner for U7's main lead, and LR Roshi led his own category.

58% DR with 58% Defense doesn't seem to be enough to trade off the orb changing at least at 55%.
He still tanks well in first form and can generate a lot of AGL orbs to heal with.
Yes. The first form sucks. There is no reason not to exchange to Gohan. He is untouchable after he revives. At 55%, the damage increase isn't really all that but the defense will make a difference. Future Saga and Hybrid Saiyans, his main teams you want to be using him on are set up in a way that you basically don't take damage unless you are trying to and don't use the units properly. Keeping him as Gohan and Trunks longer than you have to is suicide in almost all content.

I'm pretty sure the average number of stage clears for link leveling a unit from all 1s to 10s is about 700.
Damn guess I just had an extremely skewed thought about it. 700 is crazy especially when I have people on my list with 500+ LL10.
It's a long grind. I started about 6 months ago and have gotten about 650 links maxed since then.
At the same time, there's a lot of variation though. I got int Goku/Piccolo maxed out in only about 160 clears, while my LR Ape Vegeta probably took about a thousand, and there are a lot of stories of people going weeks or months at a time with just 1 stubborn level 9.
If you do it religiously with all your free stamina regen, you can expect to max out any unit in 2-3 weeks for the most part. I'd say it's worth it only for units you use all the time or really care about.
By doing 8-9 on auto while I do other shit. Takes 2-3 minutes for 5-7 fights.

Why is Int GT Vegeta so much worse than Phy GT Goku? My Vegeta's at 90% and my Goku's at 55% but Goku is still outperforming Vegeta by every metric.

I don't really use him much but I think gt vegeta def is 'hidden' until SA so even if it looks like he has 150k def, with 10 orbs he'll get a 100% increase and then the 30% increase from his SA effect leading to him having a respectable amount of def on multiple different teams. The goku only really works on gt heroes and only his big attack numbers carry over into other teams leading to people saying vegeta is better

A unit needs what a unit needs. If you don't allow them to reach their full potential then you can't judge them. Use the units correctly. Don't bring any UI Gokus on a stage that cancels dodging, don't but a unit that guards in slot 1 in slot 2, and don't deny a good unit their 30% buff.
In fairness they were released with God level content in mind and there's only like 3(?) dfes from last year that give respectable performances in red zone. You could probably no item every GoD stage with them as team leader nowadays
