That they are OS specific bugs isn't even implied anywhere. It has more to do with linuxgays being more advanced when it comes to developing software.

        Anonymous

Yes, but that bugs the question why they are more advanced. Turns out when bug fixing is required by your hobby OS regularly to even function you are training yourself to recognize bugs.

          Anonymous

Has more to do with the fact that the bulk of Windows users are dumb-as-fricking-bricks casuals that don't know how to report anything other than "my game crashed; fix it!"

I value comprehensive bug reports myself as a dev and I'm simply doing as I would like done for my game if I ever get stop getting mandated and can finish it. I assume a similar sentiment permeates the Linux userbase.

don't worry, they won't be anymore because linux is increasingly being used by wintard rapefugees who insist on turning linux into another windows, complete with 1-click installers that litter multiple copies of the same library all over your computer, and flooding developer issue trackers with complaints with error messages without any logs or lists of steps taken attached

Did you even read the article you screenshotted? It's not about Linux having OS specific bugs. It's about how most Windows bug reports are shit like "my gaem crashed :(“, and how Linux users actually send bug reports with productive information. Not exactly great fodder for a bait thread

      Anonymous

They are generally more knowledgeable, enough to write a better report like said, but trust me, this doesn't mean that they write code, or lengthy walls of text specifying everything that happened, it's just stuff like "here's my PC spec, here's my game version, I was doing this, some screenshot, maybe expected behavior", but most important there's some way to reproduce the bloody thing. The last part really makes a world of difference.
