It's not the kind of game that needed to be a franchise, just let it die.
There isn’t a single legitimately bad Deus ex game. The closest you can say was probably IW but even that was solid.
God I fricking hated that game. I legitimately repress its existence when I think about deus ex, then you go and remind me it exists.
In retrospect it wasn’t bad at all. It was never going to live up to Deus ex but it was a decent game.
The only thing it had going for it was being deus ex.

I don't think I can call HR and MD bad, but HR is definitely way more casual and MD is just as casual + also unfinished. Nobody has made a proper DE successor and at this point I don't want people to keep trying.
