Embracer is utterly incompetent and has yet to release anything good under its umbrella. I'd rather have it become a dead IP than have it get nuSaints Row'ed
Human Revolution should have been a one and done prequel. Mankind Divided was more of the same and was a good game but not all that necessary. Eidos should have made another Deux Ex that followed a different character, instead of bringing back Jensen.
Man, frick Christopher Sabat.
What a slimy piece of shit butthole.
Dude has no range, every character he voices sounds the same and he treats people like garbage.

I'm very unhappy about it because looks like SE is going to be bought by Sony due to their blunders and we will never get a tbh Sex with Sony first party budget.
>freedom and exploration are antithetical to sony games.
I don't know man half of their exclusives are open world ubisoft clones that wants you to explore every nook and cranny of their world and collect shit. Deus Ex wouldn't work in an open world game anywas but unironically TLOU2 has some kind of that decision making in itself. Besides largely linear set piece missions it features few large areas that lets you do whatever you want as Ellie until you decide to progress the story. Uncharted 4 also had a similar segment but with boat, not as much as free as it's it TLOU2 though.
He's got his hands full with Forza and Starfield anyway
>I was the "director" for probably 100 lines of dialogue no one will care about in a racing game
this is why games are insanely expensive to produce but still turn out like shit nowadays
It might just be too early for voice acting right now, last I heard it's in preproduction. Can't imagine they're gonna drop Adam after the last game set up so many questions
his story is 13 years old at this point, at a certain point it becomes unreasonable to expect people to care unless you're talking about an icon which jensen isn't on the level of. they had a bunch of clone backstory hinted at in mankind divided, nobody's going to remember any of that shit 7+ years later.
2038 Paris France, there's no Eiffel Tower in it, which will confuse people until someone blows it to kingdom come and i get praised for how i predicted its destruction it was me, i did it, the conspiracy is how people fabricate events to manipulate the public perception for profit which is funny because i did it for the same reasons
A game set after MD and before Deus Ex. You play as Paul Denton as he discovers the Illuminati's conspiracy against the global populace. There are real-world parallels to systematically demonized "insurrections" helped along with the Northwest Secessionist Forces, half of which are a false flag by the deep state. In France the other side of the story is about "misinformation" -dealing with Samizdat (Silhouette), where only the underground organizations are interested in truth and the rest of the population is subject to government-sanctioned gaslighting.
During the game you slowly get the impression of power being balanced in favor of the rich and away from the poor, as augmentation and other biotech is aimed solely to the upper class, and all the augs of the golden age are beginning to disappear from the reach of the plebs. Previous pandemics are referenced as the world is preparing for a systematic information war against any conspiracy theories regarding the intentional creation of the Grey Death.
Elias Toufexis is a pretty great VA, he voiced quite a few characters in the classic Assassin's Creed games and also Kobin in Splinter Cell. And from a quick Google search he is this dude in a new Star Trek show lel
the smart move would be to continue the setup from Mankind Divided and make it about a rookie JC getting started at Unatco leading up to the events of Deus Ex, might be hard to build a narrative around this though, maybe the final mission could be a remake of liberty island?
I just want them to end Jensen storyline after too much buildup since 2011. If only Square didn't fricked them up they could've finished it in MD and I'd be okay with it. Doesn't even have to be in game form either. Make it an anime or something if you want to since vidya animes are getting popular.
JC is only 23 at the beginning of Deus Ex if I remember right, and that game was set in 2052, Mankind Divided was set in 2029, there's just too much of a gap to have JC as a younger protagonist.
The new Deus Ex is apparently super early in the concept phase and not close to pre-production yet. Eidos Montreal was contracted out by Square Enix to work assistance for Fable and South Of Midnight after Guardians of the Galaxy so it's going to be a really long time till we see Deus Ex again.
>Eidos Montreal was contracted out by Square Enix to work assistance for Fable and South Of Midnight after Guardians of the Galaxy
Goddammit that's some bullshit
I doubt the game is either.
we got Sherlock over here
What a shame.
Yeah. rip.
He was a good VA.
*lip smack*
What a rotten games industry.
kek

Correct opinion.
You don't play as Adam in MD though
Maybe they want to return to dudebro mode.

I shiggy diggy doo
freedom and exploration are antithetical to sony games. it would be a hallway simulator with neon lights
it would be like the Syndicate reboot?

Good, Deus Ex started to become an Adam Jensen cult. Good riddance, lets move on to an interesting character.
He's got his hands full with Forza and Starfield anyway
does forza even have spoken words
what
its all cars???
Finally a sequel to Racing Lagoon.

mankind divided is only 7 years old
>mankind divided is only 7 years old
jesus christ
in my head it just came out
So if you were in charge of writing a new Deus Ex when would you set it and who would the new protagonist be?
It would be a reboot thing, loosely based on the first one.

it would be king Black person. he looks like a typical Black person with a HUGE FRICKING Black person NOSE. he has Black person DREADLOCKS.
gay

JCs first day on the job is the first mission in Deus Ex

embracer ain't going to take any risks anymore.
I can see a full deus ex remake happening but not a new game
A remake could be cool if they add back the UNATCO route
He's the boring looking cowboy in Starfield, who I'll only take along because there's going to be a Jensen mod in like a week
why should there be a new Deus Ex?
Embracer stopped all unannounced projects
isn't the majority of the deus ex team hired by ms to unfrick the new perfect dark game?
so I've heard.
be very interesting to see what exactly gets released from that development hell
Or was that Fable
It's MGSV all over again.
>keptchawaitinghuh
imagine paying 400mil $ to some dude, when you can make silent protag

Goddammit that's some bullshit
He looks like that? He looks like a loser what the hell doesn't match his voice
For a while I was dead certain that the voice actor for Jensen was the actor who played Ghat in Zeno Clash, apparently it's not the same guy though.
?t=1291
Who cares it's going to be shit like every thing else.
maybe new deus ex saga without Adam? personally i liked Adam cool design
That's cause Mankind Divided was a gimped rushed game with a huge void of content and subsequently empty message
Eidos Montreal is busy on working their new IP.
