Been playing this for years and this is like the 3rd time i've ever seen a chiv thread on Ganker. The game has always been run by incompetent morons, and now that the games nearing its final update, they REALLY dont give a shit. And so, neither do I - pretty much stopped playing altogether now when I used to play an hour or two a day, every day, since dec '21. It was fun while it lasted

As mordhau and chivalry player, I understand how niche this game is and how there is no alternative if you appreciate sword fighting. For honor doesn't even come close and mount and blade isn't nearly as independent. If I was told I couldn't play anymore I'd kill myself too.

Felt like the maps in Chiv 1 and Mirage were way more interesting than Chiv 2. The team objectives/maps are why I play Chiv, not the combat system.
Mirage did have nice looking maps. Even though Chiv 2's maps aren't as good as its predecessor, I still think that they're far better than Mordhau's.
