the pit level 1 and 2 have a monster area level of 85, which is the highest in the game. Basically everyone on there drops what baal and nihlathak drop (and lesser extent pindel)
not to mention it's just cheap wikibait that also completely negates the use of gems as small upgrades that could be used to suit your play style from otherwise generic drops
noooo, now you have to save everything with slots and never use a quarter of the upgrades you find because you need to go to the out of game wiki and crawl through arcane fricking combos of more random drops for six hours (+grinding hours) so that you have any clue how to build a set that won't get you clapped by the final boss

I find 4 socked shields are in short supply, seems mostly a hell drop item. Would doing hell cows a good drop chance? Is there a way to do it before beating hell to get a 4 shock shield?
