Prime Evil physical/magical strength when in Sanctuary was based on the bodies they took over. Their original forms died, and their souls were trapped in soul stones. Diablo had the body of the Warrior from D1. Baal had Tal-Rasha's body. But all Meph had was some random temple priest. But consider this; it was Mephisto that had the power to open the portal to Hell. Not Baal, and certainly not Diablo. He was also the eldest of the three brothers, and had the longest time to develop his mind, and his sorcery.

I know a tinsmith who is a 5'1 crazy punk rock chick in her mid 40's. Since its a dummy trade finding people to make even basic custom shit is hard. Let alone artistic/advance components. The shop she worked at had 3 people and she dealt with all the "small" items ie anything that was not ducts. She basically hammered and cut shit with shears all day long. It's fricking hard I tried it for a few weeks. Even cutting sheet metal by hand fricking hurts my hands/forearms would kill after a day of work. you build it up its more endurance however give the chadest chad mongol or samuria a 120lb longbow and there is now way in hell they could draw that shit properly. No.... the cut scene is always the Warrior. He was the one to canonically land the killing blow and shove the soul stone in his head. The rouge and mage were there and fricked up diablo too. Hence getting corrupted and going insane. Becoming an undead monster able to summon zombies of dead alias. Plus an even more insane mage claiming to be a famed summoner of daemons centuries dead.
It's been this way since day 1 the warrior was some chad (prince?) along the way he befriended a famed rouge and powerful sorcerer. They were the only ones able to make it deep into the church finding their way into hell and take on diablo and slay him at a steep cost there very souls and sanity. D3 fricking raped the lore so badly and the artstyle with its god-awful grimderp game workshop stolen artstyle used in war/starcraft because blizzard did not make diablo "blizzard" north did hence the awful art/lore/rape.
The fact diablo 4 is not a prequel taking place in the mage wars/sealing of Baal by Tal Rasha is all the proof once needs of blizzard learned nothing of the rape of the series diablo 3 and all of its cringe is still canon it could have been a good game but no its full of WoW cringe and now the artstyle is grimderp 2.0 WH:AoS chaos cultists edition I fricking hate blizzard

You know what honestly fricks me up? Diablo Immortal being worse than anticipated because of how much potential got wasted by design.
The gameplay isn't as bad as you'd think considering NetEase were attached but man knowing what could be with the PVP breaks my fricking heart.
The idea of the Eternal Cycle is a really cool idea for asynchronous gameplay marred by the fact that the game is so heavily belted to its RNG systems to try and get optimal build setups to be able to compete.
I really like the idea of a player's group essentially being a raid event for every other player on the server, needing to defend a dungeon from them, do a set of battles and missions every week to avoid falling behind, all while other players can complete their own objectives to try and overtake them.
It's a cooler system than most PVP ranking systems go but it's fricking ruined by the way the game expects you to whale, either in the player market or on the glorified gacha known as the Elder Rifts. Genuinely far more frustrating than a game simply being bad is one that could've been good.
