Battlefield series is a dumpster fire, New World is an MMO without a subscription and COD has the excuse of having F2P (Warzone) so you don't have to actually buy the game if you don't care about regular multiplayer. The excuse for $70 is for AAA high budget games on next gen consoles but Diablo 4 is barely a $60 game.

not true. Abilities in D4 have a kinetic energy and weight behind them that other Diablo-likes don't have. Even the sorc teleport feels like it has more umph to it than any ability in D2, D3, PoE, etc.

Part of it is experiencing the first playthrough with a long-time friend is way different than doing it solo then co-op. Same shit as playing Baldur's Gate 3 later. Doing Elden Ring now and I kinda just know what is going on, where shit is etc while its his first playthrough when I know if we both hadn't touched it at all seeing shit and exploring would be more fun

We haven't seen the act bosses yet. They might have decent designs. Capstone bosses weren't much more than the dungeon bosses everyone saw in the open beta though.

They can still fix it by just upping drop rates on currency from crucible rares/elites and increasing the appearance of high level sale nodes on the crucible trees so it's worth it to pick up a weapon off the ground and throw it in the crucible. They won't do it though.
Everyone will play it at launch but it will be a dead game within two weeks like every new Blizzard title. They'll make a ton of money by selling a piece of incomplete shit again.
