I don't even think an ROS style expansion would fix the game because virtually everything wrong with it is either hardcoded into the engine or is so endemic that it'd be easier to start over from scratch. For example inventory & stash for every player is loaded into memory when they're in the same instance & blizzard said this can't be changed at all so all that memory is forever pissed away due to that design decision with no way to fix it.
That’s not even factoring in the team itself who thought all these things that are worse than D3 was a good idea in the first place. I don't think they're capable of understanding the game's problems let alone fixing them.
At best it'll end up like D3 except more restrictive of what they'll be able to change with new items bolted on, I don't expect any of the game's core issues to ever be addressed.
just play d3 and wait for a few years when the games becomes f2p
Search for negative reviews of a game you love, you'll find plenty of people that despise it, and do the opposite with a game you think is total trash, some butthole loves it.
