This kind of philosophy was never not absolutely moronic in games like this. Becoming overpowered (especially in the endgame) is a huge part of the experience, because the entire fricking point of rpgs is to get stronger. This isn't for players, this is just a exercise in modern moronation to artificially prolong playtime to pat out some useless engagement metrics (Blizzard did this shit all the time since WoW) and it never adds or improves anything, it accomplishes the very opposite.
I don't understand how "people" playing diablo 3 and poe could enjoy max sped aoe no targeting required instsnt map clear builds where they had just a few buttons with zero thought, strategy and challenge
