yes because i spent hundreds of hours with D2LOD and i'm so sick of the clicking that it's a deal breaker for me. i was, for a moment, even considering the console version and play it with a controller. i didn't do it but it was close.
I will buy it, but on the first after-release sale. I don't care for the cosmetics, I don't care to bother with shitty launch, and with release in pretty much half a year, it will be unfinished. The devs are already crying about impossible crunch required, so you know it's not going to be pretty.
D2R has optional "quick cast skill" for keybinds, which greatly reduces your mouse clicking if you really hate it so much. Like normally you would change your skill from F1 to F2 keybind for example, and then click to use it. With quick cast you just click F1 or F2 and it uses the skill in the cursor's direction. With Teleport to move I only click now when I pick up stuff, really. It even automatically returns to your previous skill/aura after Teleporting (or using any other keybinded skill).
I hate that ARPGs never support wasd, but then they'll support controllers just fine. like wtf.

What does the "battlepass" actually mean tho? Do you need it to play the game or will it just be accelerated xp or something because if it's not withholding core gameplay/content then who cares
battle passes are seasons of content, usually in games like Overwatch or COD it includes the new hero/weapons, and cosmetics.
you have to grind them out to get all the rewards, usually there's 100 tiers and each season lasts 2 months.
in that case i fail to see the problem if nothing's pay to win, the game's baseline pricetag is way more of a cashgrab
