Wonderful art design, pretty good gameplay, neat characters, and extremely trap-happy leveling from the devs just straight up not scripting some upgrades/abilities correctly or not knowing how they scaled compared to better options. Still fun though.

If you didn't play it as a teen and have no sentimental value towards it you are just way better off playing Grim Dawn.
