If we're talking the PC version of Diablo 3 then I'll agree, but the console version of D3 is still superior.
I recently started Immortal on PC because I can't for the life of me find any other ARPGs with movement on WASD. I refuse to spend any money on it of course, and I hear I can basically play up to endgame without spending a dime since I have no interest in PvP. For the most part it's been a fine time. It definitely bugs you about looking at the store sometimes, but at least so far (maybe 30 hours into it?) I've been able to easily ignore it. Necromancer is really fun in Immortal, shame D4 Necro doesn't look as good..
guess ill ask here but is diablo 2 actually good or just nostalgia bait? i could never really get into D3 or path of exile, the only diablo esque game i really liked was champions of norrath so im kinda on the fence on getting it but its also on sale for $13. also hows the switch version?
Diablo 2 is a great game, but it's also an old game, and the remaster only improves so much. If you just want a good ARPG today, then PoE and Grim Dawn are better overall for being basically "Diablo 2 but improved".

Immortal is better than Diablo 3 in every way. If the pay2win elements were toned down just a bit more it wouldn't be a contest.
