I hear it's good, but also no computer game enthusiast can justify supporting acti-blizzard in their current state. You can't keep buying "games" that are more "microtransaction medium" than "gameplay medium" and expect the industry to ever change. So D4 staying in the bin, for me.

Can only speak for what I played in the beta but there were a lot of times that I kept using items that had a red arrow cause their mods complemented my build way more than getting a bit of armor and 3 useless mods tbh. Again, that could obviously change when we get the full game, I'm just going with what I've seen and played myself so far.

I precalculated the possible stories in my brain by just watching the cinematic trailers. It is deviantart fanfic romance tier shit.
I think some of it fixable honestly, adding more nodes to the skill tree and slapping build defining aspects on it is easy work. I think moving away from %damage vs slowed/CC/vulnerable/close is harder because that requires Blizzard to be creative.

Even a small step in the right direction (how stats work this time will inevitably affect the items you go for) should be mentioned imo

There's a lot of room between "Main stat and green arrow" and "a bazillion mods that half of the exist to act as filler and rng filter"

Adding R3 and L3 to the gamepad hotkeys so everyone will have access to 8 bars would already fix my immediate complain, also faster running speed.
It would be easier to just hold L2 to swap buttons to a different skill like D2R does. You could have 10+ that way
