Diablo 4 has legendary affixes which you apply to your items for buffs, but you just search around for the best Yellow item you can find and then apply the affix to it causing you to waste your time looking at items with which time would be better spent just doing dungeons to level up and practically avoiding picking up any item at all until you reach level 100. Headhunter is one of those items you can get pretty easily if I remember right. It's an okay item, but it has very little uses in builds. Again, that's as far as I remember. I was the guy who chose Incandescent Heart and tried to make a functioning build around it.

It's been 8 years. Last time I played PoE was in 2015 or so when I lived in Colorado. It was a good time trying to make an Incandescent Heart build work. I was attracted to the item. GGG should get access to the Diablo IP and then every former Blizzard employee would just put down their hands and fade into obscurity

The whole thing about Diablo 2 and PoE was that you could farm for items. PoE less so, but Diablo 2 was where you could find what you wanted to make your OP build. That is what ARPG players want. I've played the game since domination and have farmed HH in multiple leagues. It's not that hard to get a headhunter compared to a Shako in D4 becuase you can make consitent currency and trade for those items and that's only if you are farming for currency solo.
If you do it in a group, you can do it even faster. If you do it in a group while specializing for farming Headhunter/div cards for head hunter, you are going to do it even faster.

That guy is absolutely lying to you. I have been playing PoE since open beta and I have gotten one HH from one league and a few awakened multistrikes over the course of many leagues. It takes 3-4 weeks if you are in a 6man farming party MAYBE, but only if your group is doing very optimized meta strats that only a few people know about. Or you automate all your selling to bots. So if you know how to setup a bot to optimize your trades, then you can probably do it in 3-4 weeks.
The one time I got HH it was during heist and Exalted cards were dropping like candy. (back when exalted were the big trade currency)

I wouldn't bring up cutscenes normally for games, but Diablo has always had high quality cutscenes. This was clearly not their best work.
The characters are all forgettable. Even the game of thrones guy they hired.
Combat gets worse and worse as you level up. You do reach a tipping point where the gear you find swings it back in your favor. But when you start hitting 80-90 range it becomes a problem again and if you don't have max item power gear with the right stats you won't be able to progress the tier system.
The endgame loop cycle is spam tier 40 dungeons because that's when the best item power gear can drop. Anything higher isn't usually worth it unless you just want to flex. then every 2 hours wait for the helltide to come up and farm not for the gear but for the materials that can only spawn in there. Some people are adventurous and do the tree of whispers which is never worth it.
The class I am most familiar with is Sorc and they ninja nerfed the sorc. Beta hydra and release hydra were so different that they should've just taken it out of the game if they didn't know how to balance it. Sorc has been pretty rough to do any boss related content. The boss killer build is locked behind a low drop rate aspect called glacial. It's pretty fricking sad that with the aspect you don't scale damage off your weapon, but by the glacial aspect itself.
I would give the game a solid 5/10. It's not the worst game I've ever played, but it has so many problems with it that it will need a lot of FREE updates to fix most of the problems.

Probably, but there's so much depth to the actual games that these nuGames seem like a frick-over in the mind. You play them and forget how good the old ones were. They just frick everything up at every opportunity. The new Blizzdevs never understood Diablo. They never got it. They SHOULD have kept the auction house. I think they should have. It would have kept the games alive, and if they do it now while ALSO destroying every single kind of item and rebuilding them they would have a good game. I would make the items more vague and redeeming of the builds which were provided by the leveling process. And then when the late-game hit, you must target farm certain enemies to get what you wanted. It's simple ARPG shit, but Blizzard doesn't understand it. They believe the game is mindless moronic farming. Bring back Charms and inventory management, but you WON'T because it's too much of a departure from your already shit game. Holy fricking Christ
