Yes, it was great, they were there to play video games and they played video games.
It's a good watch but it doesn't lend itself well for a YouTube video imo. Sakurai constantly complains about talking while playing but keeps doing it anyway. The highlights are definitely the more laidback games and the co-op games, but personally I enjoyed Ghosts n' Goblins a lot.
It's a good premise but the execution leaves a bit to desired, but an entertaining watch nonetheless thanks to the trivia pieces and production value. Soccer Guy shares a lot of insight on every single game and often relates back to most of his videos that he's posted on his channel.
Kacho looks kinda bored a lot but he has his moments.
Because the parts where they're playing the games, the meat of the content, kind of falls flat. The other parts on the other hand are juicy and interesting. Overall, it's a 6-maybe-7 out of 10 series of videos, or in other words, Good.
So why would watching the same video on, idk pornhub, make it better for you? I don't understand your complaint.

It still airs and it's currently on its 27th season, not long ago they even declared the PS2, Gamecube, XBOX, etc. as fair game for being over 2 decades old.
Do they still interview developers every now and again? I remember the early seasons having some pretty good moments like the Tajiri interview or the SIlent Hill guy.
