At this point, I'd be glad if bots took over the site. Be more intelligent conversation.
This isn't very positive for Sonic, the franchise was always good in 2D and the worst years were the ones without any new big 2D game, their main problem is still figuring out how to make a decent 3D game
>Mario and sonic
Lol if any adult man tells me he plays either of these games I assume they're wife/gf is fricking black men behind they're back. Same with zelda.
Pretty crazy that these games are coming out so close to each other and both are looking pretty good. Despite the shit state of the greater industry there really are a huge amount of notable releases this year in close proximity.

If you believe in "forced soul" sonic has been forced soul since 2006.
Was it actually some synchronized shit or was it just a coincidence?
If it's the former, it makes me wonder, when was the last Mario + Sonic game? Wasn't it those sport games from +10 years ago?
Nu-Soul is an attempt to replicate old soul (e.g. bringing back Classic Sonic characters instead of using the modern designs), while failing to do it because it looks lifeless, generic or something. >Forced Soul
Superficially resembles Soul, it seems to be well made, but once you notice all the "little touches" or "references", and how much the marketing team appears to be focusing on them, then you realize it's a cynical attempt to capture Soul because the artist who made that animation was being compelled to do it. It doesn't feel natural.

The last Olympics was on Switch.
Superstars is NuSoul
Wonder is Forced Soul
What's the difference?
Nu-Soul is an attempt to replicate old soul (e.g. bringing back Classic Sonic characters instead of using the modern designs), while failing to do it because it looks lifeless, generic or something.
>Forced Soul
Superficially resembles Soul, it seems to be well made, but once you notice all the "little touches" or "references", and how much the marketing team appears to be focusing on them, then you realize it's a cynical attempt to capture Soul because the artist who made that animation was being compelled to do it. Superstars is Nu-Soul, Wonder is Forced Soul.
It's funny how correct the Forced Soul example is.
>AltSoul
It's actually Soulless but blinded by Nostalgia.
>SMW
>soul
Good one.
>soul/soulless was devolving into becoming buzzwords at rapid speed
>7 more shitty soul-adjacent buzzwords to go along with it
god this place sucks
was devolving into becoming buzzwords at rapid speed
anon you are several years late on soul/less being a buzzword
>sega getting raped by nintendo again
good
reminder that a great amount of classic Sonic devs now work for Nintendo. Odyssey in particular had a bunch of Sonic Unleashed devs in it
