It really has gotten crazy how much favoritism minor male characters get. Every fricking male character, even the stupid pirate whose only claim to relevance is that he once pointed a pistol at us, gets to be a recurring or even major character. Every female character has to be shoved into a locker or taken behind the shed as soon as they've done their one good act. Y'shtola is lucky that at least she was made poster character early on so they won't launch her into woodchipper like they did Venat, but even then they avoid having to give her any sort of protagonism as much as they can, even when it doesn't make sense. >Oh, you just stumbled on a huge, 5 patch long story hook that involves shard travel and healing the other shards we haven't visited yet? Which a slew of problems that only a highly capacited researcher could find solutions to? >Guess who's going to spend 5 patches in a row leaving over and over and working offscreen? 😀 >Oh and of course the new female character you met during this also has to leave at the end!

Nah that's the one case I won't b***h about, going for her first of all would have ruined the whole plotline of her realizing what's happening first of all and Urianger trying to deflect to her and blah blah. It was straight up the only time they actually did something interesting when reintroducing a Scion. Her and Thancred having a cool entry moment.
Really could have picked her up before we did Titania though. It's not like picking up Urianger actually took any time at all, we literally just pass by his home and say hello.

Some of them. The quest text for the Susano fight says the WoL hooked up with some adventure guild buddies for that fight but the ones that matter like Thordan are canonically done alone.Which makes it more annoying that the keep doing the Azem stone thing.
