I had this idea for a neat necromancer/lich game.
You'd play as an old-ish bitter/depressed gravekeeper who stumbles upon a book of black magic containing a spirit. The spirit would then slowly corrupt the MC and urge him to keep exploring the book so he'd be able to ressurrect his dead family. Its goal would be to have the MC ascend as a lich so it could possess his undead body. First you'd resort to robbing graves for your spells and alchemy but that wouldn't be enough at some point and you'd have to kidnap townsfolk. It'd be mostly talking, sneaking (+spellcasting but not I CAST FIREBALL type) and scheming. 0 combat because you wouldn't be a match to trained guards or inquititors.
It's not exactly original but I still thank you for reading my blog.

had another idea, the levels/some levels could be you enter the graves of some people to steal their youth. Everyone's body is destined to die of natural causes at a certain age, and that subtracted with their actual time of death is the amount of time/years you gain. The levels could be a weird trippy representation of the persons life like some psycho nauts shit, and maybe if you dont want traditional boss fights, you have to find out what killed them and trigger it yourself (ie if they were killed by a truck, you have to seduce the driver and get him shitfaced or you have to poor an oil slick on the floor) Maybe the levels could be limited to the day they die. With the "years" you gain from these graves you can use them as currency to either gain more spells, or make yourself younger (better stamina, slight increase in obviously weak physical attacks, better jumping height, amd eventually if you invest enough into youth, you can perform wall climbs and takedowns. FRICK IT if you go far enough, you turn into a little girl and can trick people into thinking you are innocent, when YOU ARE ACTUALLY A HAG prostitute. When you use this in your platinum selling game, credit "added concepts" to "Martin Gungo" or Ill come to your fricking house and kill you

The ending was one of the best gaming experiences in my life and nowadays its a complete miracle to get there blind, if you can do it spoiler free, do it. The delivery relies on having 0 context, the moment you read or look up about the ending, its ruined. Imo it was worth it to go through the shitty sections and the entirety of 9S whinning just to unlock E, I unironically rate it a 10/10 experience.
Yeah, played it as soon as it came out, blind, got the 5 main endings. Had an amazing time. The game treads a thin line between pretentious and unironically deep. Gameplay's fun, not the most complicated stuff but that gives more time to watch the spectacle of each fight, as well as the Nier-esque bullet hells. Game plays around with some fun mechanics, has some great joke endings, and some absolutely BASED gameplay decisions like getting the option to outright buy the unlocking of most achievements later on in the game, and permanently deleting your save game in the final ending. Great fun, and it's cheap now. Try it out.
Pretty much the way I felt about the game. The only real issues I had were gameplay related, I would have liked more complicated movesets and hacking was a bit dull, also I spent a lot of the time playing just running around the open world either doing side quests or looking for things to do, and the environments started to become boring to me after a while. Really solid game overall though, I liked the themes and moments it presented even with the fart sniffing and melodrama.

The ending was one of the best gaming experiences in my life and nowadays its a complete miracle to get there blind, if you can do it spoiler free, do it. The delivery relies on having 0 context, the moment you read or look up about the ending, its ruined. Imo it was worth it to go through the shitty sections and the entirety of 9S whinning just to unlock E, I unironically rate it a 10/10 experience.

Yeah, played it as soon as it came out, blind, got the 5 main endings. Had an amazing time. The game treads a thin line between pretentious and unironically deep. Gameplay's fun, not the most complicated stuff but that gives more time to watch the spectacle of each fight, as well as the Nier-esque bullet hells. Game plays around with some fun mechanics, has some great joke endings, and some absolutely BASED gameplay decisions like getting the option to outright buy the unlocking of most achievements later on in the game, and permanently deleting your save game in the final ending. Great fun, and it's cheap now. Try it out.
Pretty much the way I felt about the game. The only real issues I had were gameplay related, I would have liked more complicated movesets and hacking was a bit dull, also I spent a lot of the time playing just running around the open world either doing side quests or looking for things to do, and the environments started to become boring to me after a while. Really solid game overall though, I liked the themes and moments it presented even with the fart sniffing and melodrama.
Why the frick does this game only go on sale like once a year for only 50% off? It's the fricking summer sale and it's full price, yet replicant is on sale.

I did, all the way to the credits shoot-em-up where you needed an online connection to even stand a chance but I pirated the game so I couldn't beat it.
the fighting was okay but I ended up staying for the music and the story, it's not a perfect game but people who COOOOOMed to the game first for whatever reason think it's supposed to be the magnum opus of gaming and are honestly shocked when it turns out to be flawed
