Did you ever utilize the single pak link feature with a friend?

Did you ever utilize the single pak link feature with a friend?
Would I be correct in assuming this feature work with a flash cart?

Oh. Did you not own a GB/A or not have friends? Are you in this thread because you're interested in having one or both?

I tried both, nonconcurrently. It was awful.

no because i had a dsi
i don't know if you can use it with a flash cart but if you can't, you can dump the save onto your computer and download vba link to use it
bare in mind that that will make a new save with the format ".sa2". when you want to put it back on your flashcart, rename it to ".sav"

      >i don't know if you can use it with a flash cart
I just tried with my real copy of ALttP+4 Swords and a flash cart and it wasn't working.
Also tried some single pak games loaded from the flash cart and it wasn't working, but maybe I don't know how to do it right as far as when to turn the second GBA on?

i think i did it for a Sonic Advance game and it wasnt interesting
ironically, i've played a shitload of Four Swords Adventure and Crystal Chronicles on gamecube with 4 GBA's. i think i bought mostly single-player games on GBA

A lot in school yeah, the one I remember doing the most was Sonic Advance 2 for some reason. It's basically just an arena where you try and collect more rings than the other players.
I also played those Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland minigames, like the one where you hot-potato a bomb around.

Tons of times with my two younger brothers. Non-stop F-Zero, Super Mario Advance battle mode, Advance Wars, one of the Nascar games and Nightmare in Dream Land minigames.

      >I also played those Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland minigames, like the one where you hot-potato a bomb around.
That was easily the best minigame.

I used the ez flash omega edition and was able to play mario kart super circuit using the single cart feature just fine

Also, just something to keep in mind, some of those video out mods neuter the gamebincable functionality

      >some of those video out mods
      In the rom itself? Or?

Nah, some hardware video out mods piggy back off of the link cable connections which is huge gay

Although I think it only affects the gamecube link cable, it's still a drawback

Yeah, a few times. I played Advance Wars. But that's a game where it's actually easier just to pass the console around.
    >Would I be correct in assuming this feature work with a flash cart?
    Yeah it works fine.

Honestly it was criminal that Dual Strike didn't support wireless play with a single cartridge.

Used this with my sister to play Mario Kart during car trips together, but with just one game cart it was *very* limited. The idea of having to buy the same game twice to really play together seemed ridiculous to me.

Unfortunately aside from that nobody I knee had a GBA or the same games so multiplayer was just something I missed out on.
