It wasn't made by them internally. Sega probably didn't keep any of the assets used to make the game.

I'm going to sound like a huge bragging douchebag for saying this, but it took me ten minutes. I play this game all the time and know the physics really well. I usually just play the main races though, this was my first time playing story in a few years.

It's less impressive once you know if you let go of A during boosts you get more speed
Letting go of the accelerator isn't necessary at that part. It would have saved a little bit of time at the very end, but the rest of it is chained boosts anyway.
Man this course was wonderful at top speed. This was also such a stressful race, casually. V. Hard did not frick around and I almost miss this level of challenge.

Back in one of the cities near me, this science museum place or whatever had some arcade machines and I remember Mario Kart and FZero being there. That was about 15 or so years back though.
This is like one of two that are in the states right now and it ended up just down the street from my house. Only took 20 years to come across one. Now time to get the high scores with my custom machine decorated with swastika decals.

Man, I don't know why they never released the cutscene music to this day. Maybe it had to due with copyright or something. That alternate Falcon theme is lost to time...
Some mad lad found the original track this song is based off of, so legal reasons might be the culprit here. I don't know about the alt Falcon theme (CA-PI-TAN!) but that's my thought here.
