From all of the glimpses of this game, I have got an impression that Inco is a giant normie with extremely bland issues and not that much of a frick up (initially), compared to the monumentally but beautifully autistic Anon. Ben presents himself as this nice and caring person, but is a master manipulator who has a faux sense of pity to people he sees "below" him (Hence why he does the stuff he does to Olivia) while Mia is definitely an uber b***h, but does it because she is actually lashing out at the world and sees EVERYONE as her enemy. But no, that's not what we got. They didn't even get enough screen time to establish much at all except for Mia being a pretty bad antagonist character and Ben being the filter from E3 to E4.

I genuinely wonder how things turn out if they both switch places.

Our days are full of choices we ignore, sure, but we can become aware of these through introspection, and if the monotonous obligatory parts of our mundane existences become the cutscenes of our lives, it is these very decisions that have an impactful result that carries over for the rest of the Game.
"Play videogames for a while", "Study for tomorrow's test", "Laze around on the internet." Doesn't one choice stand out to you immediately as the right one? Yet we oftentimes pick things we know aren't good for our characters. Why is this? It's because we believe we have infinite choices, that the game doesn't end.
But it does, there are a finite number of Endings, and they are all graded on a curve. There is such a thing as a best possible Ending.
You have a choice from the get-go here, identical to the implicit choice afforded you when you boot up a Dating Simulator. That is, do you want to get the best possible Ending?
99% of players will say yes, won't they? Then how is it anybody can say otherwise of their own lives?
You might say "Real life is more complicated! There are many different paths which are identical in value, and it does no good to slave away all your life for a single end point." Remember, the Ending is an aggregate of everything that came before it. It is not about a set of possessions, or a set of characteristics, it is about the whole of your surroundings, experiences, being, and memories, from here to there. Slaving away for a future state might seem like a good idea, until you remember that such a future state will encompass all the slaving you did. In short, it is not about putting off enjoyment, it is about enjoying wisely.
Here's a thought: Everybody wants to get the best possible Ending, but most don't know it. Even if many have given up, they still want it, and they rage against the cage containing them. As you can refuse to open a Dating Sim, so can you reject the game of Life. These people are as if dead, or working towards their own death. They fill their lives with spectacles to forget their paths, nostalgically searching for a "Load" button that never comes.
It's true, in a Dating Sim it's hard to tell which choice really matters. Life is the same. Because you chose to stay inside and watch anime instead of going to a party, you might have lost the chance of meeting the love of your life, who might've introduced you to your future business partner, with which you might've opened a charity to help your hometown. Knowing this, how is it that we can pick "Grab some grub and jerk off"? We'd be absolute fools! Playing the game as if we had a second chance, or as if we were already on our second chance, never to see the glory and meaning of the True Ending.

Naturally with choices come pain, it's not a text about how people make choices but about how people should make choices. I'm advocating for a third person point of view over your life, which is dissociating from the pain of your choices. Naturally that's easier to do when you don't feel the pain of the character.
The dissociation of pain is really just dissociation of the self. I underwent this over a decade ago. Tearing every concept down, tearing apart every bias, and creating a new self to succeed the unstable one that can't survive for one reason or another.
I find myself drawn to love stories like these more out of intrigue and curiosity rather than a lust or desire for romantic love. But in reality, love is just poisonous, especially to people like me who can't comprehend it.

It's good, liked it better than snoot game, Wani's story hit a little closer to home I guess. The animations were really, really great, I wasn't expecting that. While I enjoyed Katawa, I didn't feel motivated to play any routes after my first. I think that's just the deal with me and games with multiple girls though, I just feel disloyal. I played Rin's route, got immense feels, and that was good enough for me to put it down.

Yes I had a great time. There is some aspects I think snoot game did better, but overall great time. I got ending 4 on my first and only try.

That's the part that I was worried about the most for, that it's just the same story with the same beats. But from all of the replies I can gather that it tries something different, while having fairly similar premise, which is good.

From all of the glimpses of this game, I have got an impression that Inco is a giant normie with extremely bland issues and not that much of a frick up (initially), compared to the monumentally but beautifully autistic Anon. While I might not be able to relate that much to him, the fact that he is different (if I'm correct), will make this at least interesting and not repetitive.

Ben presents himself as this nice and caring person, but is a master manipulator who has a faux sense of pity to people he sees "below" him (Hence why he does the stuff he does to Olivia) while Mia is definitely an uber b***h, but does it because she is actually lashing out at the world and sees EVERYONE as her enemy. But no, that's not what we got. They didn't even get enough screen time to establish much at all except for Mia being a pretty bad antagonist character and Ben being the filter from E3 to E4.

Posting these thoughts here because I have no one to share them with.

During our lives we make many choices, often never knowing whether we made the right one. Most of these choices are seemingly insignificant, but the points afforded by these choices add up to the value that determines our Ending.
Suppose that before every choice, you were offered a menu where you could pick which choice to take, the world at large freezing, allowing you to observe things from a 3rd person perspective.
Most of the time it's very easy during a Dating Sim to tell which choice will lead to a desirable outcome, a desirable Ending. "Take a walk in the park and meet people" is a much more desirable choice in these games than "Stay inside and play videogames."
But we have a real difficulty noticing these things in the field of our own lives. Dating Simulators are essentially long cutscenes interrupted by significant decision, we know that the choice we take will have an impact result on the lives of our characters, but is real life really any different? Our days are full of choices we ignore, sure, but we can become aware of these through introspection, and if the monotonous obligatory parts of our mundane existences become the cutscenes of our lives, it is these very decisions that have an impactful result that carries over for the rest of the Game.
"Play videogames for a while", "Study for tomorrow's test", "Laze around on the internet." Doesn't one choice stand out to you immediately as the right one? Yet we oftentimes pick things we know aren't good for our characters. Why is this? It's because we believe we have infinite choices, that the game doesn't end.
But it does, there are a finite number of Endings, and they are all graded on a curve. There is such a thing as a best possible Ending.
You have a choice from the get-go here, identical to the implicit choice afforded you when you boot up a Dating Simulator. That is, do you want to get the best possible Ending?
99% of players will say yes, won't they? Then how is it anybody can say otherwise of their own lives?
You might say "Real life is more complicated! There are many different paths which are identical in value, and it does no good to slave away all your life for a single end point." But this is simply wrong. Real life is not more complicated. If you could see a list of your possible Endings now, all thousands of them, you would intuitively know which one was the best one. That is from your present point of view, that's true, but I offer you this: Chasing the best possible Ending is not about holding yourself to a firm resolution of your life, it is to act now in a way that puts you on the road to that Ending, and in the process, you'll discover better possible Endings as the way changes you, such that should you stick to this path you will achieve the best possible Ending.
Remember, the Ending is an aggregate of everything that came before it. It is not about a set of possessions, or a set of characteristics, it is about the whole of your surroundings, experiences, being, and memories, from here to there. Slaving away for a future state might seem like a good idea, until you remember that such a future state will encompass all the slaving you did. In short, it is not about putting off enjoyment, it is about enjoying wisely.
Here's a thought: Everybody wants to get the best possible Ending, but most don't know it. Even if many have given up, they still want it, and they rage against the cage containing them. As you can refuse to open a Dating Sim, so can you reject the game of Life. These people are as if dead, or working towards their own death. They fill their lives with spectacles to forget their paths, nostalgically searching for a "Load" button that never comes.
It's true, in a Dating Sim it's hard to tell which choice really matters. Life is the same. Because you chose to stay inside and watch anime instead of going to a party, you might have lost the chance of meeting the love of your life, who might've introduced you to your future business partner, with which you might've opened a charity to help your hometown. Knowing this, how is it that we can pick "Grab some grub and jerk off"? We'd be absolute fools! Playing the game as if we had a second chance, or as if we were already on our second chance, never to see the glory and meaning of the True Ending.
So much missed text, so many missed cutscenes, because you forgot your role. You are the overseer, you are a player in this game of Life, and it is your responsibility to guide your body to the best possible Ending. You made that choice unknowingly, accept it, and embrace it.
You can do it now. Your vision darkens slightly, and three or four boxes appear in front of you, outlining different decisions. You can choose to keep reading messages on this board, or to go to sleep, or to do that thing that has been pressing you for sometime, or to stare at the wall. Which choice is the right one? That's for you to tell, and you to suffer the consequences.

Naturally with choices come pain, it's not a text about how people make choices but about how people should make choices. I'm advocating for a third person point of view over your life, which is dissociating from the pain of your choices. Naturally that's easier to do when you don't feel the pain of the character.
The dissociation of pain is really just dissociation of the self. I underwent this over a decade ago. Tearing every concept down, tearing apart every bias, and creating a new self to succeed the unstable one that can't survive for one reason or another.
I find myself drawn to love stories like these more out of intrigue and curiosity rather than a lust or desire for romantic love. But in reality, love is just poisonous, especially to people like me who can't comprehend it.
It is normal for people to make choices, but it's the set of choices they generate that limits them. It is utterly bound to their worldview. How can you make a choice that you can't "see" other than to try and expand your point of view? It's why I look at these things even though I can't identify with it at all. Either way it's just trivial, because to be that open and logical you would have to be more machine than man. Utterly empty, and even I can't manage that.

They're only somewhat related, they share a world but in terms of connecting it's just a couple of little nods. Similar structures etc too but the stories themselves are quite different. You don't really lose anything by going in either direction. Wani does feel higher production value and more self-contextualised, Snoot is definitely a reference/meme/community work that assumes Gankernery of the reader, but with soul.

Olivia is great, not Fang levels but nothing will ever make me feel like Fang.

Inco just isn't as interesting as Anon (I know it is by choice but there is something fun about Anon's opinionated thoughts that Inco just couldn't compete with)
The emotional highs and emotional lows just don't quite hit it (In fact, the only emotion that they nailed 100% better than snoot is pure fricking rage after getting E1).
But I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't think it was a waste of time and money. Can't wait for mods.
It's also a game I needed. Showed GF snoot and she enjoyed it very much, but around that time she said she wanted to go into the army. Fast forward to now, Wani releases and she is in boot camp. I miss her bros, these games both help and don't.

It's good, liked it better than snoot game, Wani's story hit a little closer to home I guess. The animations were really, really great, I wasn't expecting that. Good length and everything too, more than I was expecting for $15. Bravo Cavemanon. I didn't have super high expectations (I think snoot is a tad overrated) but I had nothing to worry about.

While I enjoyed Katawa, I didn't feel motivated to play any routes after my first. I think that's just the deal with me and games with multiple girls though, I just feel disloyal. I played Rin's route, got immense feels, and that was good enough for me to put it down.
Rin first time is a bold move, bro. Respect. I sort of understand what you mean, but I wanted to get the full novel's worth. I did Emi, then Lilly, which fricked me up for a whole week, so then I did Rin and Hanako to destress, then finished with Shizune. It's a nice closed circle.
