Did you side with Master Mirror or Olgierd?
I went went mirror master because pissing off a demon who can freeze time is a bad idea.

olgierd, also is master mirror a demon? they never said what he is.
}
pretty sure he is THE demon, or something very high up there, dude can play with time like its nothing and im pretty sure he is near omnipresent.
olgierd (even though he was a piece of shit that deserved what was coming to him) because you get more content that way
Master Mirror, aka 'Gaunter O'Dimm' (GOD), is absolutely some kind of supremely powerful demonic entity. Remember the scene where he just fricking stops time in that tavern to kill some idiot that was being rude?
Olgierd is a huge piece of shit, though.
I usually go with O'Dimm, but I think I picked him in my last playthrough, so I'll go with Olgierd in my next run.
>Olgierd is a huge piece of shit, though.
...as opposed to the literal fricking Devil, with a capital D
The game has an entire optional quest devoted to screaming its lungs out at the player to tell him that MM is the Devil
>meets you at a crossroads
>makes deals with people that result in him getting their souls
>initials spell God
how did you not put it together
Considering all the dimension hopping silliness in the Witcher a lot of people believe he's literally THE Devil, as in our Devil.
Gaunter O'Dimm
GOD
Master of mirrors.
D O G.
I'm a simple man. If I can humiliate the devil, I humiliate the devil.
Hearts of Stone insisted upon itself
>"I'm going to side with a cruel, word-playing demon from another dimension, what could possibly go wrong?"
Olgierd 100% Also, spellswords are cool as frick.
There'd be no realistic reason to oppose O'Dimm, book Geralt did try to reason and outplay monsters so that's in-character but no monster before was an interdimensional demon being that can stop time and cure people like he did the old Oxenfurt professor. Still, bros before fiends and Iris is a god-tier sword so I save Olgierd every time.
I would have sided with the devil if I could choose Iris as a reward.
Goth wife impregnation
She’s not even your typical goth girl, she’s legitimately your kindest trad wife type girl you can think of.
sided with Gaunter O'Dimm. olgierd was an absolute c**t of the HIGHEST order both before and after he made his deal, and now he's just trying to weasel out of it. gaunter is 100% an evil genie or demon or whatever, but like all demons, he keeps his word.
>like all demons, he keeps his word.
That anon's not wrong. They keep their words, but you run the risk of the monkey's paw outcome where you they frick you over through c**ty wordplay.
Devils (and Jinns) are the ones that keep their word, but you better be damn sure you thought carefully about the precise words they gave you.
Olgierd; irish slavic david beckham did nothing wrong. I was kind of disappointed by how short the dlc was but blood & wine made up for it. Blood & wine's art quality makes it feel really damn sad the witcher 3 team literally doesn't exist anymore. CDPR leadership can go frick themselves for spurning their own devs and even their own fricking engine. They're just shitty slavic bioware who can only continually outsource and glue things together now.
I went with Gaunter tbh, hes evil as frick but also hilarious. Olgierd was pissing me off the whole time with how much of an butthole he was being towards Geralt.
If the next witcher game is playable I want another super demon that does evil shit except this time its a female.
I thought Olgierd deserved everything that was coming to him but still saved his soul because I was not going to stand for this Great Value Satan’s shenanigans.
ngl lads after i beat the DLCs and started NG+, it blew my mind seeing gaunter in white orchard at the start
IIRC, he's there even in a regular new game. Most people just miss him because he's just some rando npc that sells you shitty, unusable items.
He was in the original game at release. He's the one who points you in the direction of Yen and then mysteriously vanishes
I saved Olgierd because it's a video game but I certainly wouldn't risk my eternal soul for that guy
I'm a witcher. I kill monsters. Simple as.
You don't piss off O'dimm by siding with Olgierd. He was free to turn down your challenge if he wanted to and you won fair and square. If anything he's probably even more amused by Geralt than he was before.
I hated Olgierd and didn't want to help him but Mirror Man was worse.
>I went went mirror master because pissing off a demon who can freeze time is a bad idea.
This sentence here tells me without a doubt that OP got ciri killed by the white frost, then goes on to complain that his totally autistic decisions that pushed ciri away, made her lose confidence, and took away her agency, were the "right ones to make"
getting ciri killed is the best part of the game
Saving Olgierd's soul after having cut off his head earlier felt very good to me
