My issue with it is that it's very much a Wiki game. Obtuse as hell if you don't check it because the game explains basically nothing to you, easy as hell if you do because knowledge checks are the only thing that's hard.
I'll eventually continue my playthrough of slaughtering all bosses in one file. My goal is to make shitloads of money in Hamlet, take it all into Shipwrecked, and spend it all at the slot machine.
Yes but the chances for the loot tables are different between the two
The chance for the jackpot loot table is the same though no matter if you use oincs or dubloons
Mobs won't be a problem since I played as Wendy in my Hamlet playthrough, I still have plenty of of oincs to blow. Now I kind of want to replay it a bit.
The real tricky thing is setting up both portals and managing to survive whatever season you end up in when you venture to Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked in order to find the slot machine. If the game dumps you into summer or volcano season it's gonna be tough.
Whenever I hop to another world I always make it my priority to find the sky/seaworthy as soon as possible so I have a way back if things start going to shit, or even have one prefabbed if possible

I don't think it's possible currently to have two prebuilt. I miss when there was lots of floatsam in the water around the Constant island, it was interesting to capitalize on fishing rods for resource collection, and you could trade to the parrot for gold and gems. Now you only get three pieces of floatsam and you have to demolish the parrot's boat to build the Seaworthy. That's like needing to kill the Pig King to get the Can of Silly String to go to Hamlet.

You can still get a sea worther from fishing flotsam but it's like a 4% chance so basically yeah no
game is too easy to be interesting or even shipped as "survival"
Don't think I have.

Correct. It's literally forcing replay value
Maybe that is why I've never gotten very far. I can never deal with the deerclops in the first winter. But I haven't looked much up.

You can use oincs on the slot machine?
Yep, it takes any denomination of them.

Yes, but after a while of playing with my gf we survived to day 250 or something like that and got bored.
It gets boring once you get enough resources to survive by doing nothing.
Have you tried exploring? Of course just sticking by your base and doing nothing is gonna be boring.
chink game
I found food
This game looks gay? Is it gay? Is it worth playing or is it gay?
its fun if you like to troll people on public servers
not for much else since as the first poster said the actual game is basically a knowledge check

No.
I was killed by wolves.
have you tried killing the wolves
I did.
The wolves killed me instead.
have you tried killing the wolves before they kill you
try not being killed by the wolves while you're killing them that works for me
I like to play Walani cause she's chill and I don't have to feel strangely guilty for playing an overpowered character
Same, I have tried a few characters in Shipwreck but still decided to stick with her in the end.
