that's a soundtrack, not a video game
why would you want a new game? every single one we got so far is trash and the newest anime series' are having a hard time being even somewhat entertaining
Your taste is trash, homosexual.
All of the recent games have been great too.
>one visual novel with almost 0 gameplay
>two copypasta turn-based games with atrocious assets and 0 unique interactions
>one World 1 clones with Tamagochi-level pet simulation and D&D-esque value management disguised as "gameplay"
Digimon fans are literally not used to good games holy frick. If you call these "great" you might as well just play some random indie trash and pretend it's a Digimon spin-off. You get more out of it
>one World 1 clones with Tamagochi-level pet simulation and D&D-esque value management disguised as "gameplay"
name?
stfu homosexual, they're all better than Persona games.
i agree but that's a really low bar to beat
Thankfully nobody ever listens to tastelets.
Glad you are aware of your tastes then
I am, and they're the best tastes of the world.
Don't understand what the problem here is chief. As you said they still give zero fricks about the quality. They take only the skeleton of a genre and sprinkle some Digimons on it. They can't even be bothered to come up with new Digimons that's how much they care about their games. Meanwhile Pokemon, which is literally just a wrist-slap competition disguised as a game, has at least the decency to introduce you a whole new generation of monsters.
I'm just tired to shovelware with 0 efforts. I would LOVE to have a good Digimon game but that will never happen. There is not a single one i would love to go back to and revisit. Except Battle Cards maybe but that one got outclassed by every card game under the sun at this point.
How would you even make a good digimon game?
The whole concept seems anti-fun
I thought about that a lot for over a decade now. Whether or not it should be a monster collector like Pokemon. Or be something from the Digimon perspective like the Mystery Dungeon games.
I think the best way to tackle it would be to do what the anime series does. Take 6 to 8 Digidestined/Tamers and have them go through an Adventure with an RPG-like party constellation. Turn-based wouldn't cut it though. It should be a gameplay like Tales of. Turn the Digivolution (including De-volution) into a game mechanic giving you a temporary boost and cancelling stuff. Have some fun and arcade-ish gameplay mechanic instead of relying solely on RPG elements. And make every Digimon gameplay unique and individual to incentivize the player to check out the whole team.
Maybe make some classic big bonker Digimons playable as an End-Game/Post-Game/New Game + reward after you beat them in a fight.
After finishing Cyber Memories I wanna watch Adventure Tri, why is it a movie triathalon and an anime series, which version is better to watch?
They can either Remaster Digimon: World 1, or frick right off...
Hopefully never. The games peaked at world 1 and the show at gamers. The card game is the only good property, as well as Kari incest jokes
Digimon peaked with Frontier. fight me gay
I appreciate it for what it is, but the lack of partner digimon made it feel like a sentai. Also it had main character syndrome bad
true. but the world building was crazy and much needed after Tamers turned it into a desert and drained all the magic from it by retconing it into a college garage project
Too bad frontier never did anything with its world. Ah well. Well always have zoe lifting her shirt, tickling and Arido Anca
I just want to play with my digimon ocs
People who wank digimon world 1 have never played it, DW1 fricking sucks my dudes
all they have to do is just make rumble arena 3
Also Haiti will stay shithole
Was Survive any good? I never heard anyone mention it after it was released
>Was Survive any good?
No it wasn't. The VN aspect was pretty poor and had plenty of repetitive dialogue. Also the SRPG aspect didn't mesh well either so it just made an already slow story drag out at a glacial pace. It was also really easy, not a single map was challenging except for the Seadramon fight in the sewers which was my only reset my whole time I played it.
Lastly, I've heard you're railroaded out of the true ending in your first playthrough. Can't confirm that since I dropped the game by the time you meet Piedmon in person, however many chapters deep that is.
>buy a digivice since never had got and got digimon fever atm
>get my first digimon to ultimate
>suddenly realise she will die soon since that’s how digimon work
>keep this b***h frozen most of the time so that I don’t lose her
frick digibros, what do I do? I feel proud managing to get my first dude to ultimate
