Honestly doubt it'll be on Switch since it's being built from the ground up on PS4.
Switch + PS4 IS the current gen. Don’t be fooled by those Steam and PS5 logos.
Bandai's pretty wishy washy with having games built on PS4 going on Switch. To add further to my doubts is it's not even Bandai working on it, but Media.Vision, and I doubt they'll be given the budget to make sure everything would run well on Switch. Maybe a port later at best. Or maybe for the next Nintendo console.

That's admittedly a fair point, including older DS Story games. I'm not sure how dedicated they are to keeping Digimon games as handheld titles, but the track record does make it seem like that's a pattern. It may have just been because it made sense budget-wise though.

World 2 is too terrible to justify putting it into a collection of 3 games total.
The Medabots collection for example had about 8 titles so you can spread out the quality.

Not violent, just more soulful. Watch episode 21 to get an idea. Honestly that’s all you really need to watch out of the whole season of Adventure.
All you need to watch from Adventure and 02 are all the movies and Episode 21 of Adventure. And the pilot episode of Adventure. That’s a 10/10 viewing experience.

The next game to be announced should logically be the Digimon Story game that has been in development since BEFORE Survive. Survive was supposed to be an in-between side game.
The Digimon games survey they had like a month ago stated that your answers may show up in this con, which means they will, at the very least, acknowledge that video games exist. Though this is not definitive proof that a new game will actually be announced.
