if they went in and removed all the delays and waiting whenever you press any button, it would be ok.
Takes like 5 seconds to get an item off the ground, there's so much dead air in this game it's fricking insane.
The player movement is sluggish for no reason, the visuals and environments are extremely boring which is an absolute sin for a Digimon game, and the Digivolution system is too handholdy imo, but that's kind of unavoidable because the internet exists now, so might as well put the info into the game. The music is also fricking horrendous.
DW1 feels like it's ZOOMING by comparison which is an insane thing to say about DW1. Next Order feels like molasses, like I'm playing on 0.25x speed.
On the subjective side, I don't like having 2 Digimon. It's stupid.
Digimon and Sonic have got to have the same dev team behind it , in secret. It's insane how both of them just have the worst fricking ideas for their games and then execute them really bad on top of that.

Digimon World 1 was only as good as it was because of how faithfully it adapted them into a real full time game. That means pooping had to be something the player needed to manage. I know this world is soul crushing but sometimes things aren’t meant to be fetishes.
