Unique evilties include the movement damage one from fem warrior. If you need even extra stats have your supports all learn the sorc unique for increased damage taken.

at 20m stats and 100m~ hp they don't die, you can also have the Corpse unique evility to revive or the hospital brew up a HP/Res/Def potion that also causes you to live with 1 hp first death.

I understand the dislike for it as they are mediocre but i never understood the praise for the sprites. Before 4 they're awful. Even in 5 the characters have like 5 poses in total recycled between all characters. Animations for moves always use those same poses.
I don't know if it's nostalgia or if they actually have more charm but the sprites are just better.

from everything i've seen Baal Body is the play now as you don't really need capped items to superboss.
it stops being worth it in most games at that point, like sure a barefoot x is marginally better, but after you've passed bills for movement in the trap and already levelled it why even bother doing it all over again for extra movement you don't even need.

If you buy the DLC you get one of each unit for free without having to unlock them. They'll be stuck in their short-hair form until you unlock their class properly though. Same goes for the other costume DLC.

So I've heard Mao helps a lot speeding up Item Reincarnation with an exclusive Evility, however I can't find any info on what it actually does. Can anyone share a screenshot or description of it?
It gives 100 extra RP, the currency you use to bank stats when Reincarnating, if the Evility holder is the leader of the Item Reincarnation Squad. It's generic, so you can pass it down with a scroll once he learns it.
Item Reincarnation. Some weapons have properties like "Sword Skill 2" which lets you use Killer Spin even if you don't currently qualify for it. Reincarnate that sword and retain that property and you'll still be able to use Killer Spin even if you turned it into a Staff or a pair of shoes.

Juice bar breaks all leveling over its knee. Find a good stage, crank exp at the cheat shop, use your evilities, equipment, and squads, and never have to level anyone again.
So does raising the stars affect anything in the Item World? Apparently killing enemies doesn't do that much for the item now so if that's the case then I'm curious

Not really. It's a more limited version of the Curry Shop from 5, and it takes more Hospital Points to get anything useful out of than you're likely to have or want to spend right now.
It's an odd thing. It can help with stuff that you're struggling with, and if you have the hospital points, there's no reason not to use it, but it's also generally just as easy to build your characters in a way that you don't need it.

Depends what you're looking for? The balance curve is even smoother than 5, you can break 99% of the game over your fricking knee if you know what you're doing, but also, if you play it straight, some of it is surprisingly challenging. Also, the endgame has some wacky stuff.

Is it just not possible to beat Desco's DLC fight in 7 until you actually started building your team up/putting together abilities? Axel died like nothing making me think it was possible, but she scales stupidly well. Tried to be a scummy man and use weird tactics like a throwing chain to destroy the Geo Symbol, but no luck.
I forgot exactly what I did, but I basically bumrushed her. I did it sometime around chapter 4
Usually you can just eventually brute force them in other Disgaea games too, but I've been periodically trying to unlock her early on and was just wondering if anyone else found a good strat.
They're all doable. You might have to do a little building, but it shouldn't be any harder than any other 1v10.
If you are still having problems with the fight anon here's what I did, it took me a couple of tries too

I haven't personally noticed any major performance issues so far other than the game slowing down/temporarily freezing when you rapidly load models, IE hold down in the character menu when viewing Status. Then again, this is NIS so I wouldn't be surprised if other players had worse experiences than mine with bugs or performance.
Mouse controls are available, but even if you remap them away from the bad default layout it still feels like shit. I use a gamepad for combat and mouse for all the base/menu organising stuff personally.

I use a zombie maiden because she's cute.
But otherwise i don't really know all their unique spells. since you can pass around all the generic evilities and eventually their unique evility there's not much for monster classes that's unique to them.

her unique evility makes it so that when she would die there's instead a little sparkly effect on her and she gets set to 20% HP.
Her jumbifiy gives that to everyone but only at 5% health.
Should work for enemy zombie maidens too. You might have been close to her and immediately counter-countered her to death again.

Yes but you're better off just leveling in the dedicated leveling squad. 1/4th xp but doubled growth.
They are. There are evilities and the elite four squad and weapon abilities.
Even with maxed subclass stars, you won't hit 10M in everything because reasons.
The reason is reincarnation stats. With maxed or near maxed reincarnation you still hit the 10m base.

I unironically think it's the worst addition to Disgaea they ever added.
Makes every single level up prior to having optimized the stat-growth modifiers, feel like a mistake. A waste of time. Unnecessary. Or otherwise suboptimal.
Whereas before stat-growth modifiers. Finding and figuring out the optimal way to grind at any part of the game was always part of the fun. Part of the mystery. The puzzle. Part of the game.
In my mind stat-growth modifiers changes all that. Where grinding X-number of levels in the mid-game is significantly inferior to grinding X-number of levels in the late or post game. And where two characters of the same level and incarnation can still be of drastically different actual power.
No fan at all. That's a shame. I always liked Disgaea otherwise.

press Square while looking at a gacha to see the whole list of items, I think most of the evilities have career in them, at the very least if the gacha includes all the different exp gain stuff class proficiency should always be at the bottom

Yes, +3 unique for a total of 4/5 and a total of 24 common by both hitting max level and mastering other classes.
The unique ones are rough, though. For the first you pass a bill for 1 mil mana postgame. Second you have to deal the killing blow to normal Baal and for the third you have to deal the killing blow to Carnage 15's Mugai

if you're just barely not able to kill her, you can have 1 character out and 1 standing on the base.

There's a 2k inventory limit. Anything that doesn't fit into the inventory is autosold, so 10k pulls would be an "issue". But then again not really because at that point you autosell anything anyway. It is dumb.
