Emily is a fool who doesn't know what's good for her. Being someone's patsy is worth than betraying them. Corvo has the authority and the discipline to take the reins and lead the Empire into a golden age with hard force. Emily is soft-spined and gullible, nobody respects her. Funny enough, she doesn't even want to be Empress. She spends all her time daydreaming about doing anything but being an Empress.

its crazy becaues it looks amazing, has similiar gameplay and the levels look incredible but its kinda too big and somehow just doesnt feel as comf as the first game

Corvo in high chaos is worth playing for the absolute ludokino Corvo The Black ending, with him becoming exactly like Burrows but a dictator who isn't a coward and can handle himself. It's probably the best ending of the series, pure grimdark, with Corvo leaving Emily in stone as in his mind this means she's safe forever. Low chaos is pure moralhomosexual limp wristed crap and is boring as hell. Damn I hope they make a Dishonored 3 eventually.
I played DOTO, it was a lot better than I was expecting. Seeing the upper class parts of Karnaca was interesting, the cult and the Outsider story was more interesting than D2's plot and felt very unique. The connections between the Eyeless and the Abbey was cool and a nice piece of worldbuilding.
This is probbably the only time ever where a man being made playable wasnt a good idea. Corvo had his story and this one is supposed to be for Emily also his potential ending where he just usurps the kingdom is stupid. Still hes funner to play as.

Dishonored 2 was trash. The first one and the DLC's are better in every way.

2 has way more options and has better enemies. 1 has some better level design.
Both have good gameplay, 2 has better QoL and better balance but it's not that important
the best part of 2 is how perceptive the enemies are. standard difficulty is as hard as the hardest was in 1
