The Bloody Hunt starts in July 12th, featuring new Espers Zora (Amunet), Xiao Yin (Azure Dragon), and Aurelius (Ullr). The former two are echo spins only with Zora being the banner lead. Aurelius is obtained through tokens earned from doing the mini-story. Also included in the update is the Desolate Lands raid feature and the Relic Boost system.

Surprised no one's posted it yet but here's the event details for the Bloody Hunt event coming on Tuesday.
Key things to note:
>AFK currency system to help you clear out the shop as well as the green currency for a new event system
>Power Boost (aforementioned event system) is bonus stat tree to help you with Boss Clearing when it comes to the event stages
>Ullr is in the event shop for 3500 event currency compared to the 5000 event currency for Meredith from Lone Star, making him easier to get early on in the event.
If anyone wants I can post the event shop images since they have changed them around a bit so you can plan what to save your event currency for but I think the biggest thing is no Shimmer Record this time, just Flow Records to help you pull Zora and Azure Dragon.

The blatantly stingy record/stamina systems are crippling any momentum this game gained from its initial advertising. People try the game, they get shit pulls, then they get stamina gated, so they go back to whatever game they came from and uninstall.
I forgot to mention this but it's relevant. I've noticed the chat channel I've sat in since I started went from buzzing with constant activity that I couldn't keep up with to frequent periods of silence to the point I think my chat is broken.
Dhalia ripples especially take probably a minute to fill as well. Some people may just have them maxed out sure but most of the time there aren't enough people there to fill them out.

All the people I got into this game have dropped it because of how fricked the rates are and how much of a bottleneck stamina is.

Shadowstream is going to eat through Inferno defenders, but not many need boosts for Fafnir relics, and Shadowfire is gonna make you take your Mona out of the bench and be a teamplayer (finally).
Shadowfire sounds like the final boss of the tower all over again.
Shadowstream is Apep 2: This Time It's Personal.
Shadowgale is Fafnir in reverse: you have to cleanse as many stacks of an enemy debuff as possible with cleanses/buffs before the boss detonates.

Wait, what? Shadowgale tracks unique instances of buffs, but ignores buff stacks? If a character receives, say, three separate Recovery buffs, then does that count as three buffs or one buff, regardless of how those stacks look?

The gacha is pretty bad even by gacha game standards and the gameplay itself is Raid shadow legends levels of boring and repetitive and the story/characters aren’t that deeply written.
Music and character designs, overall art style is pretty damn good tho. If you can stomach the boring bits, it’s functional.
If you've never played gacha before don't expect to get every cool character you see in the game
But the ones you do get will be able to carry you throughout the entire game without issue, so it's not really pay to win, it's pay to have fun
It also suffers from repetitive gameplay to keep you engaged and logging in everyday, but the gacha dopamine you get when you spin a 5 star character is worth it in my experience. It has a way to go, but for now it's alright as a F2P.

The devs, while clumsy af, actually listen to SOME of our complains, given time, it will eventually surpass its boring but functional gameplay loop and have the end content it desperatly needs (I don't think they'll ever fix the rate drops for pulling, though).
Especially because, if the numbers that have been posted itt are real, Dislyte is currently Lilith's money cow and they won't let it go to the trash so easily.
Dislyte is in the same boat as games like Jet Set Radio: it's one of those rare games where the presentation carries it more than the gameplay, not that that's a bad thing.
So boost stones are a little clunkier than I expected. A boost stone must match the relic, which is fine, but you must also have the exact substat on that relic in order for you to apply it. Even then, though, there's a bit of RNG to determine just how big the powerup you get from the boost stone is.
The system is understandable, but the problem is accessibility. There's no easy way to look at your boost stones in one place, but worst of all is that you have to manually walk through all your relics (equipped or otherwise, preferably equipped) to see if you have a valid relic the stone can be attached to. There needs to be an easier way to cross-reference boost stones with valid relics. Say, open your box of rocks, pick a boost rock, adn the game ought to say "here's a list of all your owned relics that can slot this boost stone, with relics already equipped to an Esper shown first."
tl;dr - Boost stones, in their current state, are a neat idea, but the UI needs some serious help to better handle them and not make them appear so obtuse.

Share your desolate land struggles. Getting absolutely wrecked by Shadowstream because I've only pulled Point War demons and duplicate Tevors.
Tried Celine(50), Eira(50), with Dhalia(50) in every combination and I can either limp into a 6x with less follow-up or 4x with 3 dps but one is Sander either way. Sort of at a loss of how to overcome the lack of f2p ap/speed boosts.
I can only get B at best on any of them, just barely, so I'm skipping out on this half stamina week. Gotta relic harder.
the entire mode is a bit of a headache since you can't auto it at all, also either crit/crit dmg boosts don't exist or have an infinitely lower chance of dropping
So I just bought this dude on the store, I set on Apollo as he wants to freeze opponents, I read that you want the Freezing set on him but it seems it only takes effect when he gets hit?
Anyway, any recs on him? Like team comp or main stats on lower relics.

Like you said the freezing set requires you to get hit to have any effect, but he has no way of drawing attacks towards him so I feel like people may be saying "ice guy = ice set" a bit too quickly.
I plan on trying him out with the relics I have on Sander and then Lucas because I don't really understand his place either but I pulled Nicole today so I'm lacking abilmon for a bit.

You'd have to spend the stamina to level them up if you need to upgrade them for higher-tier fodder. Starimons you get from the Divine Sequencer are already max level.

Anything 4* and above is better suited as fodder, yes. 3* are such dirt cheap common, you might as well get the max lvl starimon to skip some of the exp grinding.

Leon. Like, you have to wonder who is the real antagonist in the game do far, sure, Hyde and Sander might have leadership of Shadow Decree, but who is the that makes shit happen?
Realistically speaking we don’t really know if shadow decree will even be the proper end boss and not some other beings related to the miracles themselves.
That said, shadow decree seems like quite the clusterfrick of motivations. One minute they’re just dudes that can’t fit normally into society so act very anti-heroish at times, or it’s them burning down orphanages and aiming to use the miracles for domination against their enemies (esper union) and possibly the world.

Drew and Q are Brynn's first teammates as a new member of the Esper Union, and they spend literally the entire campaign together (barring Q's absence when he gets shot). It also helps that they have a common enemy in Leon.
Drew is already the face of the game. Literally - his face is the game app's icon. Also, he's in all the marketing. You don't need to go far to find official Drew art.

I spend 100 stamina and I get like 3-4 6 stars on a 10 difficulty ritual and if I'm lucky 1 of them is half decent that's not a fricking def bonus % or acc%

If the tier list is to be believed, the top three 3* Espers are, in order,

I should not there is a significant power gap between Ye Suhua and the other 3* Espers.
Ye Suhua's value is exclusively in her opening move though, I personally don't see any drastic difference between her 5* and 6*.
I'm looking for 3* Espers that need that jump from 5* to 6* in order to be specialists in their roles. I'm aware Tang Yun is a popular pick 'coz he melts Fafnir but he needs that 6* to survive.
Chalmers, Drew and Berenice then. Berenice's shield scales with her max hp, thus, buffing her with %hp relics and master groove gives you a shield of 12k-ish that gets stronger if paired with a buffer that rotates first.
Drew and Chalmers are DPS with skills scaling on their ATK, this one is straightforward, bigger level = bigger base atk, in the case of Chalmers, it allows him to be a deadly nuker on K10 that can push to sub 1 min auto.

Melanie is also baby's first controller, so if you don't have Lucas, Long Mian, Tiye, or Sander, she is the best alternative.

They learned from Ollie's event that event farm only for tokens sucks, so they added a bunch of other rewards to the event farm like experimon, sonic waves for Ascension, and other odds and ends, on top of the tokens. It also helps that Zora feels like she's pulling her weight.

I did it back then with Chang Pu Li Ling Sander Lin Xiao and Clara but that was only after I replaced red relics for Chang Pu to keep me healed properly
So I looked at my team's relics and realized Li Ling was still in garbage I was using when first leveling. After remixing I've pushed through to 99 and am now stuck there.

The whole event is worth investing in, I already left the store bankrupt (yes, I even bought the useless tickets) because of the amount of cool shit you get farming. The upgrade system gets a special mention since it works so damn well as a positive feedback loop by making runs faster and more consistent, you'll have to be insane to not see it's value.

Dhalia is another one. You really just pick ATK for Fighters and HP for everything else. Defense should pretty much never be chosen unless it's like Donar, but kek at using Donar.

Outside of being part of the under-represented Defender class, nothing. Donar is the strongest Defender in the game, meaning he is the #1 tank in the game, and some people pride themselves having him on their team and being able to solo Kronos with him.
Also, the man looks like he runs a YouTube channel about BBQ and meat science.
You see the thing with using Donar is that he can really only be optimally used in a team of 4 supports if you want him to be DPS, because otherwise he will not be of much use. Because of this he is really only good as a Point War defender. Not to mention his passive is useless if the AI never attacks him until he's the last unit standing. Sure he can give *himself* Immunity with his ult, but are you really going to invest all your legendary abilimons so he can solo Kronos when there are better options?

Dahlia and Laura need their ults up by the time you get to the last stage. The AP Up from Dahlia will make sure that Laura can get her shield ult up before Catherine shreds your group. Once that's done, focus the healer, then the AP down girl, then the two other guys, and finally Catherine.

Because they want to try and wring as much reward as possible from the task mission in question. They're spending the stamina, so they may as well make it worthwhile. Running the mission at minimum difficulty is when you're absolutely focused on finishing the weekly ahead of anything else.

I had to ask myself the same thing with Narmer this patch, but I needed someone to light up the adds on Shadowfire and I don't see another Sander-tier esper coming for a while.
If you like Ollie's aesthetic and can use him, go for it. You'll get the abilmon back over time and probably won't pull anything before that time anyway.

You get extra rewards from the event mode grind as well like relics, sonic Ascension mats, and gold, on top of the event currency, so it's not like you're starving yourself of supplies from other modes. It's a lesson learned from Ollie's event, where the grind missions dropped ONLY event currency.

Simply put, Neko Curse instead of doing damage upon killing a unit, should just be an actual curse with the effect "This unit cannot be healed or buffed. This ability cannot be debuffed."
Now the enemy team can only be healed if they have something like Nicole, otherwise it's an easy path to kill them now.
And before you say "That sounds broken" remember this unit is a 25% chance of a 1% pool of over 20 legendary units, 4 of which are shimmer. So you have to get the 1% legendary pull, then it has to be a 10% chance of a shimmer, THEN it has to be a 1 in 4 of the shimmer legends.
But really, the curse should kick in right away for how long it takes to set up, I don't know why they ever thought that even with his "DPS" capabilites and double attacks he would ever be able to deal substantial damage with a weak mechanic like that. Sure Sear increases damage potential but that's only for a single unit. Even as a single target DPS he's just not great because his kit wants to be both AoE and single target and ends up being bad at both.

There's no stat spread to make him good. Even pairing him with somebody to clear immunity he can still have his shit cleansed. Bosses don't have any effect with neko curse and even Chalmers does better singe and single target. Best I can think of is cube and even then any other A1's focused Espers like Jing Man feel like more value.

I personally stopped grinding the event to spend stamina on the weekly. Plus I needed a SPD Heart's Grove anyway for Berenice.
I don't see these slots filling terribly rapidly (only 4 people have joined in the past two weeks), so I don't think you're in any danger of missing a spot. And even if you are, the ledgers can still be cleaned up a bit, so let me know.
That said, there are people who do their tasks, though not as many as I would like. Weeklies get done, at least.

Reread it. The damage boost on his ult now reflects off HIS ENEMY'S missing HP, not his own. It's more a rework than a nerf.

A "turn" ends at the end of the target's turn, for the purpose of buffs/debuffs. In the case of Kara proc'ing her bonus poison, it's based on her own turn, I believe. Still, her A1's Disease proc going from 60% to 80% is a hard buff.

New Astral Witchcraft ought to work with her, since she's got a passive.
Started playing this 25 days ago to get a Tapjoy reward, ended up beating 12-8 on Purgatory with a day to spare, but never got the reward. Tapjoy tells me that Lilith Games claims I still have not completed the challenge. I tried reaching out to Lilith customer this morning. Took 2 hours to "connect to customer support", but they just never responded. What are the odds that I ever actually get through to someone?

I've never had a problem and I've done this with 5 other games. The problem here isn't TapJoy, it's Lilith reporting that I did not complete the challenge.
Who else is willing to bet that much later we're going to get some sort of fire god, damage Esper who's entire gimmick is that their A3 does a ton of damage but applies a debuff to theirself, and their A2 is a passive that gives a big damage and speed steroid so long as they have the debuff.
Then suddenly all those people who've hoarded Astral Witchcraft *Classic will have like the strongest PvP Esper or some dumb shit.

I still can't do it even with both Clara and Ahmed. The timing of the turns my attempts results in non-damaging moves being used during the shield phase more often than not.

Personally it's up to you on what you want between the two. Clara has consistent cleanse + immunity, but Yue has dispel.
Two hits on basic and one hit on third ability.

Lu Yi died in the process but after hooking him up with decent relics, he was a star player and survived all the way to the last shielding.
You can replace Tiye with Tang Yun or any other multi-hit esper. Bosses can't be stunned anyway.

I mean, TT50 is the peak of PvE endgame (alongside Purgatory difficulty in story mode). There are only so many ways to add difficulty in games like this, and they went for "stupid numbers".
