Theurgy makes it so that even if you had never played a game before you can prolly still beat it. Also, dark and light skills aside from Die For Me!! are actually useful now
I’m just before the tank full moon boss in the military base, and so far the game is very well balanced on Merciless. I think it’s harder than FES. The only stuff I’ve ignored are the stat boosting incense that seemed to cheesy to me, but it’s nothing like 5R where half the mechanics and items feel comically overpowered. I was worried about the Theurgy attacks being like Showtimes, but bosses seem to get spongier after you have access to them. They’re often a very necessary tactic in combat, as well as baton passing. They make some boss encounters really fricking tight turn-wise, forcing you to strategize with the baton pass to not get stuck in a loop of healing, reviving and curing ailments. I’ve never felt so overwhelmed with no room to attack in a Persona game this often. I can totally see normal mode being too easy though, but that’s more of a modern videogame thing than a Persona specific thing.

Get some decent elemental coverage for weaknesses like garu, bufu, ect. Single target debuffs are great for boss battles.

Theurgy makes it so that even if you had never played a game before you can prolly still beat it. Also, dark and light skills aside from Die For Me!! are actually useful now
I’m just before the tank full moon boss in the military base, and so far the game is very well balanced on Merciless. I think it’s harder than FES. The only stuff I’ve ignored are the stat boosting incense that seemed to cheesy to me, but it’s nothing like 5R where half the mechanics and items feel comically overpowered. I was worried about the Theurgy attacks being like Showtimes, but bosses seem to get spongier after you have access to them. They’re often a very necessary tactic in combat, as well as baton passing. They make some boss encounters really fricking tight turn-wise, forcing you to strategize with the baton pass to not get stuck in a loop of healing, reviving and curing ailments. I’ve never felt so overwhelmed with no room to attack in a Persona game this often. I can totally see normal mode being too easy though, but that’s more of a modern videogame thing than a Persona specific thing.

The random items you pick up in tartarus marked "valuable" like gems and such, is it safe to sell them? Or are they used for something later?
If you're talking about the ones that you can sell in bulk at the police station then yeah it's safe to sell them
