This has to be the worst quest in the whole game. Please tell me it gets better and things are not as two dimensional and the quest isn't just a circle jerk about how "r*cism... le bad!!!".
I also can't believe the whole game is meant to be about a futuristic dystopia yet corporations are NEVER mentioned or involved and somehow more "diversity and tolerance" is the cure (when it's the reason crime is so high)

Yes. I played the entire first game, the bad guys were a scientist and a religious woman in a Cult. Corporations only showed up to help because "yay corpos are good, religion is bad!".
Now i'm halfway through this game and corporations are still nowhere to be seen, instead the bad guys are dragons and racists.

I don't understand how a bunch of criminals that kill people, do drugs, sell drugs, steal, etc. can claim the moral high ground. Can I kill my companions?
Oh yeah, I remember that mission. I didn't take Dietrich along and could call him out on his bullshit in a dialogue afterwards. Fricking hypocrite, he neglects that kid himself, "fights" the system or whatever by getting drunk and then has the gall to blame that kids father.
Also, the whole "racism" thing in Shadowrun just doesn't work because "races" didn't exist until 2012, or 40 years before the game started. Meaning almost every adult non-human has human grandparents. Any white supremacist is going to see white trolls and orcs as better than black humans and elves.

It making me appreciate how Cyberpunk 2077 at least was loud and clear about how fricking awful N*GGERS, asians and latinos are. Unbelievable here you have a setting with turbo evil dragons and turbo evil corporations, and the developers choose to make religion and racists the bad guys. They'd rather have bugs from another dimension being the baddies before saying "corpos... ARE BAD!"

I hate old garbage games and i just started Hong Kong and I still can't decide over my character's clothes.
clothes are for prudes, cool kids run wearing nothing but their chrome
BUT IT'S RAINING ANON. IT'S RAINING. I had this super cool portrait with a normal grey t-shirt for Dragonfall, i get out of the bar, BOOM, starts snowing. MY CHARACTER IS GONNA FREEZE TO DEATH. I had to spend like 3 hours editing a portrait and searching for armors to find a comfy, warm yet cool looking armor.
Now in Hong Kong it rains EVERYWHERE, non fricking stop, and I had this armor without sleeves, can't do, IT'S RAINING, had to switch to a jacket, but he still gets his head wet, so now I went for an armor that has a hoodie and a jacket and a t shirt.
