They gutted the skill tree compared to d3 and itemization is subpar to d2 runewords. If they just left the d3 skill system with the runes to customize the effects it would eb a way better game with more builds and customization. They basically just transferred the ruens from skills to aspects on legendaries. While the itemization is lame, its a step up from the set-centric itemization in d3.
If they add a bunch more skills, a pvp arena and some sort of trading it could be a 9.3

They though MOBA netcode in a ARPG was a good idea, too bad it can't handle hundreds of enemies at a time so you only get a few.
5.6, seems right for a mid game. Doesn't mean it isn't a fun ARPG. Also the game would score way higher if it wasn't laggy as shit.

I just finished the campaign, and if that was all that this game had to offer, it would have been enough for me.
When I finished, I sat there for 45 minutes and listened to the music, and looked at all the pictures of the memories of participating in this drama.
I have read books, and have reached the end and have felt this sense of emptiness because the adventure was over.
I felt that with this magnificent production.
Thanks blizzard, and the thousands of folks who worked so hard to produce this fine product.
